I have had five brothers and yes it does burn very fast but it’s very flavorful it is one that I would just put in my seller you have a great day and a wonderful upcoming weekend
Hello Sonny, Good to see you! Thank you for the review. I own them though have not tried them yet. I have heard yes meant to be smoked dry and packed very tightly! Be Well!
There's video here on YT of Mr. Manil in his shop, packaging his tobacco and giving an interview (all in French with no decent subtitles, I'm afraid). His machines are about 100 years old! It's an interesting process.
Sounds wonderful I love a cigar leaf blend or straight cigar leaf tobacco Fantastic I’ve done some blending with La Escepcion and Virginia And a burley blend Have another cake coming out of the press this week
There are actually two very different cultures in Belgium! The Walloons and the Flemish. The Flemish are the Germanic half of Belgium, in the north. The Walloons are the french speaking half, the south. In this case, the french speaking Walloons would pronounce the tobacco “sem-wah” and the Ardennes “ar-den.”
I feel like a lot of us would benefit from drying MOST of our tobaccos more than we do. Almost all the best smokes I’ve had have been either tobaccos that come dry (haunted bookshop, engine 99, etc.) or that I’ve let sit out way longer than I intended. They just behave better, no tongue bite, no gurgling, etc.
I really enjoy Semois. Yes, it’s one dimensional, but that dimension just pushes my buttons. I can commiserate re the lingering cough. I had a chest cold in early December and just kicked the cough last week. Ugh!
I can’t stand cigars. Five minutes in, and it feels like I’ve been holding smoke in my mouth all day long. They’re oppressive, and that’s coming from someone who loves all manner of dark-fired pipe blends. Thanks for the video!
This video reminded me that I have a pouch of five brothers just hanging out. It's good, but I prefer the semois, myself. Much love brother!
Another great review .. good luck with the promotion 👍 Ted is a great TV show too
I was a big fan of this one, especially first thing in the morning on my work drive with coffee.
Glad to see you grabbed some Semois. I really enjoy it. Earthy, nutty with a burnt popcorn kick. I too prefer Five Brothers. Enjoy brother.
I like Virginia Flakes...done it all ...just makes me feel good.I like Skiff Mixture and Squadron Leader
Lost me at cigar leaf. But from a fellow Ohioan: stay safe on those roads. I’m loving this snow and i hope it lasts.

Good review, anyhow.
I like this one, very earthy/clay and tasty. I can see the 5 brothers comparison. I'll have to break some out. Thanks for the review.
