Is it true they used eggs for the bridge construction? Where were the heads of the anti-Habsburg rebels displayed in the 17th century? What was the magical number Charles IV. used as a numerological formula to magically protect the bridge?
You will learn that and more!

This was really helpful and easy to understand. It was very useful for my humanities work. Thanks. And I hope I would get a good grade on my booklet about the Charles bridge.

Good video, well done. Was there last year. Easily the Most beautiful city. I believe all the statues on the bridge are now replicas as the real ones were sent to be displayed in a museum to protect them from the elements and tourists

We were there in 2015 as part of a river cruise. Our guide pretty much rushed over it. Thanks for this dream video.

The statue that fascinated me the most along the Charles bridge was the one of St. Augustine. Having come from an Agustinian educational system, seeing his statue made me very proud.

Hi there, loved this video, thank you. Really interesting! Also, I’d love to know what brand of winter jacket you are wearing as it looks so cosy and comfortable! Have a good day! Prague is one of my most favourite places to visit. Hoping to visit for my 4th time next year!
    Cheers,
    Marg

In 1357 on Juli 9 at 5-31 minutes they could not start building the bridge because minutes were introduced only in 1680.
