That was the most riveting speech of the morning. This also confirms how badly Lisa Marie did try to be happy after her son's death. I'm tired of reading about people who think she didn't try for her remaining children and took the easy way out whether it was a lack of effort, easily taking drugs again etc. That was an unfair judgment on many people's part. Lisa Marie suffered greatly at the loss of her son, but never waivered in love, care, or concern for her other children. Losing a child is devastating to a mother, and we publicly witnessed her tremendous grief. She may not have been herself, but she never lost her ability to love her babies.
They say the most painful thing in life is the loss of a child. Since she was so close to him more than her other children I've read. It was an imaginable pain that she couldn't overcome. Nothing but nothing will make it better. She was suffering such a terrible loss of her only son. Some can people overcome it. And some people can't. I can't imagine the everyday life without her child for years. She was probably taking medication for depression and anxiety. Plus, the years she was yearning for her child. Wishing he was there with her. Probably was was to much for her to bear. She probably eventually died of a broken heart. She was never the same when she lost her son. Those who are judging her, have never experienced the loss of a child and they should consider themselves fortunate. It is a loss like no other that rips you from your very core. I lost my son four years ago and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t shed tears. I mourn for a future that was denied to him, his dad and I. They are lucky not to know this kind of grief.

Riley was supposed to read these words herself, but from watching her head leaning on her husband during the service I understood that she wouldnt be able to stand in front of the cameras. She was too devastated. Priscilla was also devastated, I think I never seen anybody so crushed by sadness. The whole thing is so sad, this is not anything Elvis could have dreamed of, first his grandson and now Lisa Marie. Shes found peace now.The memorial was a very moving beautiful event. I was surprised to hear Axel Rose humble words. It was touching to hear grown up men talking about Lisa Marie, some of them broke down in tears. I think the morning pre-public service was especially hard for the children… which is why they pulled out of reading their parts. I’m glad everybody in the small service had to sign a NDA… we dont need to see photos or know exactly what the family said or did during that private service prior to the public. Riley wants to raise her children privately, given all that the family has been through, it makes sense. My big takeaway from the public service were 1) Lisa was loved by so many from all parts of the world 2) the family seems to focus on the fact that she was killed by a broken heart… not whatever happened in her final hours. I got the clear impression that it didn’t matter what actions ended her life, that the root cause was profound grief.
Lord have mercy I hate that our Southern Princess is gone. But I'm proud she has a living legacy. Congratulations Riley and Ben, I'm proud for you both, and for The Presleys to have a 3rd generation to carry on. Rest in peace Lisa Marie. We love you.

Heartbreaking, simply heartbreaking. She made sure her Daddy was finally honored and portrayed as closely as possible to who he truly was and from her memories. After losing her precious son everyone could see she was emotionally and physically exhausted. Forcing yourself to literally place one foot in front of the other to keep going for her children, her grandchild, her Mom and millions of adoring fans had to have been exhausting and done with pure love until she just couldn’t do it anymore. I don’t personally believe she meant to leave as she did but that she was just seeking relief from the grief if only for a moment and she just didn’t realize the degree she pushed it. Again, this is simply my own personal thoughts on this and not meant to disrespect anyone in any way. I do personally understand losing your Daddy at a young age as she did. Every single day of her life in some way she worked to keep his memory alive. She never got a break even if she was proud of how well Priscilla and then she did just that. That’s a lot of responsibility to millions of fans of her Daddy and herself especially when you are also grieving the loss of your own child. I pray she has found peace and knows how much she was loved by so many not just her immediate family. Her family and loved ones need room to grieve privately after her cause of death is ruled on and I pray the press is kind, loving and respectful during this time. Lisa said, Riley the baby will be here. I wondered what she meant... she meant Riley's baby. It's so sad. But hopefully Lisa is at peace now.

I think the morning pre-public service was especially hard for the children… which is why they pulled out of reading their parts. I’m glad everybody in the small service had to sign a NDA… we dont need to see photos or know exactly what the family said or did during that private service prior to the public. Riley wants to raise her children privately, given all that the family has been through, it makes sense.
My big takeaway from the public service were 1) Lisa was loved by so many from all parts of the world 2) the family seems to focus on the fact that she was killed by a broken heart… not whatever happened in her final hours. I got the clear impression that it didn’t matter what actions ended her life, that the root cause was profound grief.
Lord have mercy I hate that our
Southern Princess is gone.
But I'm proud she has a living legacy.
Congratulations Riley and Ben, I'm proud for you both, and for The Presleys to have a 3rd generation to carry on.

Heartbreaking, simply heartbreaking. She made sure her Daddy was finally honored and portrayed as closely as possible to who he truly was and from her memories. After losing her precious son everyone could see she was emotionally and physically exhausted. Forcing yourself to literally place one foot in front of the other to keep going for her children, her grandchild, her Mom and millions of adoring fans had to have been exhausting and done with pure love until she just couldn’t do it anymore. I don’t personally believe she meant to leave as she did but that she was just seeking relief from the grief if only for a moment and she just didn’t realize the degree she pushed it. Again, this is simply my own personal thoughts on this and not meant to disrespect anyone in any way. I do personally understand losing your Daddy at a young age as she did. Every single day of her life in some way she worked to keep his memory alive. She never got a break even if she was proud of how well Priscilla and then she did just that. That’s a lot of responsibility to millions of fans of her Daddy and herself especially when you are also grieving the loss of your own child. I pray she has found peace and knows how much she was loved by so many not just her immediate family. Her family and loved ones need room to grieve privately after her cause of death is ruled on and I pray the press is kind, loving and respectful during this time. RIP sweet Lisa Marie, you will be missed. 💔🙏🏻💔

Austin Brown (Rebbie Jackson's son, MJ's nephew) also referenced the baby when he posted his tribute to Lisa on IG. Lisa had text him asking him to come for last Thanksgiving. Lisa said, Riley the baby will be here. I wondered what she meant... she meant Riley's baby. It's so sad. But hopefully Lisa is at peace now.
