Good morning Sam. The prices on the tractors down there is 1000's less than what they are in Ontario, Canada. My son and I bought our tractors around the same time. He got a Kioti with a cab and loader, approximately 50hp for about the same price I paid for my Kubota LX2610 with loader and no cab. He bought his in the US as he lives there.
Good morning Sam. I am looking forward to seeing the paint going on. What a difference it will make. You put lipstick on it you may as well put a nice dress on her also. lol. Keep up the good work. Thanks for another video.
@elmermason9685 Thank you! I am SO looking forward to seeing the painted barns. Just a bit of teaser info... I reserved a lift for Monday. Wish me luck! 🤠👍
@Frank-Thoresen I really want to be able to lift a full IBC tote of firewood and have a tractor that can do everything else I use the BX for. I definitely want a cab. As I get older, comfort becomes more important. And this time around, the backhoe will be more of a consideration. Rear hydraulics, 3rd function, etc, etc 🤠👍
Sam is all of us at the fair. Tractors! Ohh look! More tractors! Ohh, over there! More TRACTORS.... (checks wallet, bank account, home equity) .........Dream Dream Dream Dream........
Just my opinion Sam. I would stay away from any tractor that has emissions on it. Most of the problems that I see with newer tractors is mostly with the emissions systems. Tha TYM 2515 seems like the " Swiss Army Knife " of compact tractors with excellent reviews. That will probably be my next tractor, with a cab of course.
I have to say and I am ready for the backlash. it's time for the Korean tractor haters to put up or shut up. Deere and Kubota are insane with their prices and service. John Deere lost the "Right To Repair Lawsuit" a lawsuit that shouldn't have needed to happen, but they got greedy. I looked at a Deere and between the prices, higher capabilities and quality, them and Kubota did not make sense. Kubota is not quite as bad. Kiote, Branson, Mahindra, Bad Boy, TYM and RK are all Korean and all higher quality than the two top dogs and they aren't going anywhere. TYM has been around a long time and the Kukje engine is from Cummins, has NO electronics and been in business since 1959. I did my research and TYM makes RK and used to make Branson. I bought a 25 hp TYM for $4k less than the most comparable Deere and my transmission and rear end is filled with steel parts vs aluminum. Sure my dealer is 45 minutes away and that is always someone argument, but I have a truck and a trailer and 45 minutes! Anyone with property should have a truck and a trailer. With Bidenomics thrown in there, loyalty only goes so far with people that have any sense and are not made of money.
@johnpyle8027 Price is a big deal. I wish there were some TYM tractors there to compare. I've heard very good things. Also would like to see LS represented. These are all pretty local dealers and having dealer support is also a big deal 🤠👍
@@bobgrier3103 I'll first say, I've had a great tractor in the BX, but I'll follow that up by saying I had to look second or third time at the Kiotis. They are very nice machines and thousands less than Kubotas. Very nice 🤠👍
@@samsdoinstuff You will find that Kubota is teh default tractor. When you don't know what to buy you just go along with the crowd. John Deere is another default brand. Both good but there are others that are better esp since Deere does not build many of it's compact tractors. TYM is very good. There is a story that engineers from Kubota didn't like what they were told to design, left Kubota and joined Dae Dong to create what they thought a tractor should be. The result was Kioti. I was a devoted Massey buyer until I discovered Kioti. I own 2 and would love to have a 3rd, another CK 3510 HST. I actually sold one of my Massey's to be able to buy the 3510. I've seen your BX do what you ask of it, but know from experience that a larger size, a compact vs your sub-compact, would do things more easily and faster. A good rule to follow when buying is to determine what one you think will do the job - then buy the next size up. That's because whatever you think you will use it for will morph into larger projects it can't do or do easily. Come visit me in North Carolina and try mine out.
Leppo sells bobcat not just rent. At least the one in Tallmadge does. Also twice you said too much machine or too big. Nope never too much machine too much money maybe
@@chriselliott2364 I feel the exact same way. I got a really good one before all the supply chain issues. It would be very difficult to trade it in. Maybe I'll just have 2 tractors someday 🤠👍
Kioti (long "i"... look at the logo, there's a silhouette of a coyote in it!) makes a great tractor for a reasonable price from what I hear. Bobcat, JD, New Holland, all fantastic equipment, but you're definitely gonna pay for it. Last fair I went to was the 2009 Iowa State Fair. Can't believe it's been that long ago!
@@shawnmontgomery1088 Opinions vary. I think the machine becomes what it's used for. Some folks never buy the mmm and only plow snow. The tractor becomes a snow plow. It all depends on the use 🤠👍

Great fair love it. Go every year on Labor Day. We go in the morning and leave by two because can’t stand the crowds. lol
@@cbwhitehill We did the same thing. Went early and left right after lunch. It was getting really crowded!
Prices are insane. I bought a brand new extended cab 4x4 almost fully loaded full size pickup in 2003 for less than that Kubota SXS today.

Tracked skidsteer was my favourite. Would love to have one of those. Also, those old ford 801's are sexy af.

Fun with new equipment but older can do the same job at the fraction of the price (also with a cab with AC, Heat and radio :-) )

The New York State Fair said on Monday evening that 868,745 visitors passed through the gates during the 13 day run of the festival.

Do they accept part exchange your old one to bring price down a bit ?

Prices are about 10% lower than in Canada?? Shipping should not be a factor, we have large container ports. Just what the market will bear.
I just don't understand the Canadian surcharge?!? I wonder how in the great white north come to the states to buy stuff?
