A solid score but it is obvious whomever is running this account on Amazon is just going to retro game stores and GameStop’s and just buying the cheapest mass market games that has huge amounts of copies made. This explains a lot of the kids games and sports games. All of these games are not hard to find complete in box.
IMO, this was a DEFINITE win. Ffx-13, Black Ops 2, Uncharted 2, Crash Racing, SOCOM ll, and even the Cars racing (I played it on GameCube when I was younger and it was actually surprisingly good. Especially being able to drive around the town). You got a lot of great bangers and classics to add to the collection for a mere $55. Awesome haul and video 👍🏾
That cars game is legitimately one of the best movie tie-in games ever made imo. I grew up with it and It's genuinely great. I can't speak for any of the sequels but this first one is worth playing through. (I also grew up with that Incredibles game that was advertised in the manual, that one isn't as good but still okay)
It was fantastic! I absolutely loved cars when I was younger and the game was so great. I tried the sequel hoping it would be similar, but it was just individual races, no open world of any kind.
The cars video game was my first game I’ve ever owned. It’s so great you can drive through the entirety of radiator springs and you can even unlock outside locations
As someone who finally got his hands on a PS2 after stupidly getting rid of mine years ago, seeing the quality of games you got makes this very tempting to jumpstart my own collection.
The problem is that eventually everyone is going to check no sports games and so they are going to be sitting on a massive pile of sports games, which kind of defeats the purpose of selling these old games instead of going to a landfill.
Socom 2 was the first game I ever played online multiplayer and it blew my mind that I could play with other players from across the world while talking to them! I spent sooooo many hours playing crossroads and frostfire demolition.
@@IfYouSeekCavemanI only played the 2nd one just to do stupid stuff like do a backflip on stairs then they get stuck. Or the highway map with all the fast cars and get hit by one and they get sent flying. It was best
I have a LOT of luck buying games off Amazon. Like recently: My copy of Heavy Rain still had the origami paper you could fold following the instructions while the game installed (completely crease free) My copy of MGS4 was CiB My copy of Prey came with unredeemed DLC My copy of Mankind Divided came with unredeemed DLC And not to mention how great the discs of games I bought from 3rd party shops on Amazon looked. I'm definitely buying all my games from Amazon from now on as opposed to a an actual physical store.
I love the realness dude. "I'm not good at counting." Proceeds to show you finger counting ten games quite slowly. Gotta respect a humble Matty who knows his strengths.
Nice win! A lot of fun games to try out there! My latest score was a few PS3 games from Goodwill. I found Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2, and X-Men Origins Wolverine all CIB and mint discs (didn't expect that). Paid $15 for all of them.
I always hear people going all nostalgic for Blockbuster and Hollywood Video, but does anyone remember Moovies? All the stores had a black and white roof that looked like a cow's hide.
Yep as I recall the Moovies in our town was both larger in size and selection but also a lot cheaper than Blockbuster. We went there all the time for rentals
I loved Movie King. 5 movie's for 5 night's for $5. My Dad and I would Travel to town 45 minutes away every Week to Rent 5 or 10 Movie's. Great time's. RIP Dad.
These mystery boxes are just a way to move dead/stale inventory. There's nothing here that I would want; if I did, then it could be acquired for dirt cheap. Don't waste your cash on these boxes.
Yo the lighting is way better in this video than the last few I've seen from you. Now if only I can get that good of lighting in my videos. And I love the idea of getting old games off amazon
I appreciate Matty checking sold listings on Ebay to figure out out what these games are worth, instead of checking Price Charting. Ebay tends to be more accurate.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who LOVED FF XIII-2, far FAR superior to FF XIII and without all the nonsense that became Lightning Returns. The music is just top fucking notch, like Full Speed Ahead? The music for every battle? I literally couldn't stop listening to that track even though I put over 70 hours into completing XIII-2!
I love watching mystery box unpackings.. amazon had some great deals on PS5 games. Picked up a midnight black controller for 49$ with Ghost wire toyko Deluxe edition & No more heroes 3 day one edition for just $20 each.. also have my eye on Valkyrie Elysium & Soul Hackers 2 for just $19 each 👀 . I think my wallet may hate me lol.. 😅
I'm there with you on FFXIII-2, which I think is actually one of the best Final Fantasy games of all time. I did think the ending was pretty atrocious, but other than that, great game and pretty unique in terms of the storyline and structure.
This is honestly a better way for you to show off games, Gamestop is just way too expensive and they don't let you filter all that down by system there, prices are better too!
I loved Crash Tag Team Racing. My friends and I had a period of playing it after a school and when I wasn’t playing with friends I was playing on my own.
They weren’t lying about saving these games from going to the landfill! These are basic games with so many copies I swear these people buy them for Pennie’s then sell for the sub price, in the end this company will always make money!
Socom 2 - the one game I played online every single day after school - all the way until i had to go to bed for school haha. Pushing O button - Last Word.............(alwasys had to be a cuss word haha)
I love the Dave mirra games. Especially those first two and I really can't remember which one is better but the soundtracks are great and they weren't just a complete carbon copy of Tony hawk. I was a skateboarder so I loved Tony hawk a lot more but those first two Dave mirror games were great and Dave was a super cool incredibly talented guy that we lost too soon which is worth mentioning.
Not a bad haul, RIP Project 8.. one of my favorites 😢.. you should do the 10 Xbox / 360 games next month, see if your luck is just as good with that one!
Tony Hawk's Underground was the last really good one, it was all downhill from there. I wish American Wasteland hadn't stripped so much out of the character creation.
I did that, selected ps4, ps3 and ps2. Got a bunch of crappy ps2 filler like a poker game and some hunter game I’d never play. Cool idea but I couldn’t justify wasting money games I’ll never play.
Man I miss buying physical games in the 00's
A solid score but it is obvious whomever is running this account on Amazon is just going to retro game stores and GameStop’s and just buying the cheapest mass market games that has huge amounts of copies made. This explains a lot of the kids games and sports games. All of these games are not hard to find complete in box.
Cars is an awesome game. The open world and the music in the game was really memorable. The gameplay is great as well. Definitely worth playing
RIP Dave Mirra, an absolute legend on a bike and seemed liked a genuinely nice dude
IMO, this was a DEFINITE win. Ffx-13, Black Ops 2, Uncharted 2, Crash Racing, SOCOM ll, and even the Cars racing (I played it on GameCube when I was younger and it was actually surprisingly good. Shrek 2 is honestly one of my favorite games of all time… no joke. Used to play it with my dad every weekend when I was a kid!
Such a good game, one of my favorite multi player games
That cars game is legitimately one of the best movie tie-in games ever made imo.
I grew up with it and It's genuinely great. I can't speak for any of the sequels but this first one is worth playing through.
(I also grew up with that Incredibles game that was advertised in the manual, that one isn't as good but still okay)
that and toy story 3 were really fun
It was fantastic! I absolutely loved cars when I was younger and the game was so great. I tried the sequel hoping it would be similar, but it was just individual races, no open world of any kind.

You get one game and next thing you know you'll have 100. Very big library of "essentials" on Ps2.
I recommend manhunt 2 and any metal gear game
The problem is that eventually everyone is going to check no sports games and so they are going to be sitting on a massive pile of sports games, which kind of defeats the purpose of selling these old games instead of going to a landfill.

In my opinion you won tremendously considering what you couldve been given lol
True
Yeah but come on... 55 bucks? You wont make that back from the stuff in that box lol
@@jaysherriff3086well the price charting on all 11 games totals $86 so I’d say that’s a win
@@jaysherriff3086idk man probably would lol. Thats barely $5 per game.
@@jaysherriff3086also don’t think he wants to make it back lol
You really got a good mystery box...and I actually like the Dave Mirra games I've played.
Right? The secret slim Jim character was funny as fuck
I played Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 1 & 2 and had a ton of fun. The first game introduced me to the band Sublime.
@@IfYouSeekCavemanI only played the 2nd one just to do stupid stuff like do a backflip on stairs then they get stuck. Or the highway map with all the fast cars and get hit by one and they get sent flying. It was best
The soundtrack was sick in 1 and decent in 2

Remembering the cars game would be a cool video

Retro Rebound "Best and Worst Disney Games" when? 👀
I always hear people going all nostalgic for Blockbuster and Hollywood Video, but does anyone remember Moovies? All the stores had a black and white roof that looked like a cow's hide.

SOCOM is what introduced me to online play. COD lobbies before the COD lobbies. Great times.
Press to talk! You could really get your point in lmao
I definitely say do this again. It’s nice to see an unboxing from you where you’re not ending the video broken hearted
That cars game actually is awesome
I hate Amazon, the 3 times I got ripped off in the mail it was Amazon.
These mystery boxes are just a way to move dead/stale inventory. There's nothing here that I would want; if I did, then it could be acquired for dirt cheap. Don't waste your cash on these boxes.
I'd like to see another video like this but with Nintendo games. N64, gamecube and snes
Cars ps2 was the first game I ever played. Kinda fire tbh. Holds up kinda well for an old movie tie in
Shocked this didnt have any sports games in it
Shrek 2 & Socom 2 made 2004 amazing for me ❤
Do another box this time with either gamecube or wii or DS. Since they are Nintendo consoles you may end up getting games worth hundreds of bucks.
Those games were amazing. I also played project 8 on my ps3 and I throughly enjoyed it. It was my first tony hawks game. 😅
You did better with amazon then GameStop not surprised
Dave Mirra R.I.P
Look at this photograph.
Pull the lever matty. Lets go again lets go again.
I was just rewatching this series lol.
The Cars game is goated. Its amazing.
This man could cosplay robin hood. Or Green Arrow.
he does look like a younger Green Arrow (the one from the Young Justice show)
He gives me a seth green vibe ..🤔
Yo the lighting is way better in this video than the last few I've seen from you. Now if only I can get that good of lighting in my videos. And I love the idea of getting old games off amazon
YOU GAVE UP THE SAUCE
Nice haul. Im surprised.
I’ve never played it, but everyone I know that had/has the Cars game loves it
People don't buy these loot boxes. They are a huge waste of money.
Love that you linked the video that inspired you i would say give this another go but idk if it may come with dupes
I don't know why I love these videos but I do lol keep em coming!
arkham knight must be the bonus game since you picked ps3 ps2 games
You should do a review of Jak and Daxter idk if you have already but those games are so great.
I appreciate Matty checking sold listings on Ebay to figure out out what these games are worth, instead of checking Price Charting. Ebay tends to be more accurate.
You got a copy of cars but checked the price of cars 2 at the end.
How tf did I miss this
I'm glad I'm not the only one who LOVED FF XIII-2, far FAR superior to FF XIII and without all the nonsense that became Lightning Returns. The music is just top fucking notch, like Full Speed Ahead? The music for every battle? I literally couldn't stop listening to that track even though I put over 70 hours into completing XIII-2!
about time you got a good deal.
They even not unglued stickers😮😢
RIP Dave Mirra
Haven’t watched it yet but I’m going to guess there’s significantly less man juice in this video
Two sports games if you count racing games
game stop did not pack my Xbox one properly and din't function correctly so i return it now on i'll buy new and retro consoles on ebay or godwill
I love watching mystery box unpackings.. amazon had some great deals on PS5 games. do it and buy a couple boxes of ramen for your lunches.
My friends and I played the hell out of Tony hawk and Dave mirra back in the day. RIP Dave mirra one of the goats.
I'm there with you on FFXIII-2, which I think is actually one of the best Final Fantasy games of all time. I did think the ending was pretty atrocious, but other than that, great game and pretty unique in terms of the storyline and structure.
Extreme G Racing, the entire series, is phenomenal. Had to say that after the ad on the BMX game lol.
New sub great videos ❤
This is honestly a better way for you to show off games, Gamestop is just way too expensive and they don't let you filter all that down by system there, prices are better too!
They are shipping them via Media Mail that's not the correct way to ship them.
Does racing and skating games still count as sports games 🤔🤔
I loved Crash Tag Team Racing. My friends and I had a period of playing it after a school and when I wasn’t playing with friends I was playing on my own.
Socom 2 was one of my favorites growing up
They weren’t lying about saving these games from going to the landfill! These are basic games with so many copies I swear these people buy them for Pennie’s then sell for the sub price, in the end this company will always make money!
I didn’t know you knew SpawnWave like that he’s one of my favs
7:54 should be on everyone’s top best video games list
Welp. Better buy ten more just to be sure
Bro i was ALL OVER them early Socom games, i gotta hunt one down now!
I like your content, I subbed
Great video!😊❤
I hope you're keeping well!
As soon as you said Spawn got a ton of Sports games, that's exactly what I'd assume one of these things would give in general, sports junk
I believe i also one of jacob r's Video's where the exact same thing happened. They basically gave him all sports games..😂
Socom 2 - the one game I played online every single day after school - all the way until i had to go to bed for school haha.
Pushing O button - Last Word.............(alwasys had to be a cuss word haha)
Thank you for the Shrek 2 praise, one of the first games I ever played and yes it's a bop.
oh man, i spent a lot of time as a kid playing that cars game. would love to see a video on it eventually!
Another day same Amazon
2:56 I have the exact same version for complete in box. I got it for €5
Bro that SOCOM cover brought me BACK
Run it once more to see if it changes! Thanks for the dope video!
Do another box! Love the channel, Matty!
Do this again❤

i NEED a cars ps2 review that game was great
Dude i feel like they bought all the games i traded into GameStop and they somehow made it into this video 🤣
Crash tag team racing is one of the most underrated racing games ever its so much fun. Also has platforming elements
I miss going to Walmart and playing original Xbox games at the kiosks and breaking my neck looking up
That cars game slaps!
I played it on the GameCube and loved it
This feels like humble bundle for consoles
Dave Mirra is good, give it a shot. Great soundtrack too. I’ll never give up my copy.
I miss the SOCOM games so much. People still play them online consistently
So weird, I actually loved Project 8 as a kid. Loved the more realistic take
I enjoyed this. Dont get me wrong, I prefer your gamestop pain most. Maybe do this monthly????😊
This not bad especially compared to Spawnwave’s haul from his video lmfao
Not a bad haul, RIP Project 8.. one of my favorites 😢.. you should do the 10 Xbox / 360 games next month, see if your luck is just as good with that one!
Nice. Xbox next? I still hope for Sudeki review.
I love watching this man spend money
Tony Hawk's Underground was the last really good one, it was all downhill from there. I wish American Wasteland hadn't stripped so much out of the character creation.
