Saint Seiya is a manga and anime series from the late 80s and 90s. It's giving you the DBZ feeling because of the genre of the series: nowadays often referred to as battle shonen (shonen literally meaning young man or boy, referring to the demographic) Other franchises in the genre you've probably heard of are for example Naruto, One Piece and My hero academia. DBZ was probably the one series that changed the genre's feeling from muscled martial artists beating everyone to teenage boys with superpowers saving the world (kinda funny since late DBZ is just muscled men beating people up). DBZ, or the entire dragonball franchise is what made the genre popular in the west. Saint Seiya was really popular in Japan when the manga and anime were coming out but in the west it's surprisingly unknown compared to other similar series.

japanese arent as tidy as you think, big resellers arent as prevelant there, so most stores do mystery boxes/bags with all their unsold products, which a lot of costumers like to buy since they receive a value of 40-60$ in a 20$ mystery bag, which they remove anything valuable and resell them as blind boxes for 5-15$, so and im not kidding these games are most likely never played games that changed 10-30 hands until you received them. Its not rare that you will find a product with 7 layers of price stickers from 7 different stores, in which it was sold originally 8$ then next sticker 7$, 5$, 4$, 2.5$, 2$, 1.50$, 1$ until you bought it.

The Saint Seiya game (pronounced "Saiya") is actually a well-known series from the 1980s in Japan. The name was changed due to religious references. Years later the series did get it's original name.

2:47 - Finally, a Resident Evil game. I clicked on this video, cause I knew Resident Evil would be in it.
After watching you 'subtitle' these games, you have to be a bonus commentary on every eastern DVD ever
Saint Seiya is one of the popular shounen animes in Japan they made a game about it I think with other Shonen main characters the game called J star or jump Force to fight each other
Actually you are right about both of those names
japanese arent as tidy as you think, big resellers arent as prevelant there, so most stores do mystery boxes/bags with all their unsold products, which a lot of costumers like to buy since they receive a value of 40-60$ in a 20$ mystery bag, which they remove anything valuable and resell them as blind boxes for 5-15$, so and im not kidding these games are most likely never played games that changed 10-30 hands until you received them. Its not rare that you will find a product with 7 layers of price stickers from 7 different stores, in which it was sold originally 8$ then next sticker 7$, 5$, 4$, 2.5$, 2$, 1.50$, 1$ until you bought it.
I'm japanese.I like your video!
『Momotaroudentetu』(ver.english=Peach boy electric railway) is very exciting game.I recommend it to everyone who don't play yet.
So, may you be ever so kind as to translate the Japanese names of the video games that neither I nor Mystic could figure it out, please? Thank you.
@@paxhumana2015 thank you,your advice
3:00 that is Gundam which also has a great Anime series.
The game at 16:10 seems to be a Tokusatsu centered game. The character you were playing as looked like Ultraman. They're not robots, just dudes in suits. It's kinda funny that you called Saint Seiya Japanese Power Rangers when this game is full of characters that inspired Power Rangers.
Hey Mystic I've been watching your vids for a while now and you have heavily influenced my gaming decisions.
When I was younger, I had a Ps2 but we had to sell it to get a Ps3. As weird as it sounds, I miss playing with my Ps2 and have really been wanting to play with it lately. Thanks to you, I'm gonna try to save up as much money as I can and buy a Ps2 in order to relive those memories I had as a child. I Hope I manage to get my hands on one.
If I do manage to get one, I'll update you all
Thank you
6:04 momotarou dentetsu hatten x (momotarou's electric train) its a gme of words with ''momotarou densetsu'' , the legend of momotarou the legend is about a boy born out of a peach that was floating in the river and found by a elderly couple , but this game is about trains i guess
8:43 great mematsu , no idea
8:57 TAMAGOCHI
9:36 the mahjong
I really enjoy these kind of videos, please do more!
The Saint Seiya game (pronounced "Saiya") is actually a well-known series from the 1980s in Japan. Unfortunately over here in America, it really didn't go anywhere, but the few who did watch the anime/read the manga know it as "Knights of the Zodiac". The name was changed due to religious references. Years later the series did get it's original name.
It's insane to me how someone like Mystic doesn't know Saint Seiya. I have always heard the US didn't care about it, but I didn't know it was like that. In Brazil Saint Seiya was huge, not as much ad DBZ, but close at one point.
The "Japanese Power Rangers" were called Zodiac Knights, i remembered watching the tv show as a kid in Perú, don't know if you got it in the US but it was big where I grew up.
If you have a modded PS2 you can try to copy that japanese game that did not run.
Blood is a Japanese anime, really messed up. Brought over here as Blood C and Blood+, its got some of the most messed up evil beings I've ever seen. Literally search up killer bunny anime and it pops up.
It's nice to see a Japanese copy of The Guided Fate Paradox
Now this is what we call the quality content! I really like Mystic so much!
“Nooow she’s cookin” 🤣🤣
Bro your reflection in 8:30-ish nearly killed me lmao
Shouldn't the Resident Evil 6 be called Biohazard 6?
Chris6184 your rigth it’s not the Japanese version
It’s the asian version
@@BensyBens What is the Asian version I thought there were only NA, PAL and Japan
Chris6184 Asian version games are sold in asian countries like singapore, south korea, tailand, hong kong and the rest of asia.
They are mostly the same games as the english versions some of the japanese games releases in asian countries with subtitles in the games.
For example the yakuza games get 2 physical releases one is the original japanese release (with Chinese/korean subs) and the english releases
Some japanese gamea get releases only in asian countries with full english support (for example dead or alive xtream 3 got released in asia with full english support)
@@Chris-ct1xy you must be American, huh. The world only consists of japan, USA and some Europe thing over there, right?
@@HaohmaruHL Hell yeah I am from Merica you know best god damn country in the fucken world!
Seeing Ishin at the top of that PS3 pile made me yell out. That's a dope pull.
is your ps3 not backwards compatible??? you could have tested out that clown game on the ps3 then🤔 love these unboxing vids btw bro
Eyyyy TBAG, my man. Love you bro
there so hard to get
I think he's said in other videos that his original backwards compatible PS3 died a while back. I could be wrong though.
They're region locked on ps3
@@timelymirror7826 ps3 is region free.
Okay I just got this recommended out of nowhere and it has under 10k views.
This video is definitely blowing up man!
