Yes you will have a 2013 Accord soon. The version in Saudi Arabia will have rear window shades and the 18"sport wheels on the V6 model.

@WhiteyMcKrackerHonke No you can not close them that way because if someone's fingers could get stuck. BUT if you put the key in the door and turn to the lock position and hold it, all the windows and sunroof will close ;-) that will save you from putting the key back in the ignition ;-) thank for your question and for watching

Nor the LX model. And some of it doesn't apply at all to a non-Navi model. So, the video should indicate in its title which couple of models that it *does* work for, rather than misleading the reader to think that it applies to *all* Accords of this year.

I would like to apologize for my last reply. About the auto down windows because they only work on EX trims and above, not on the Sport or LX.

If you press the lock button twice and hold it, it will roll the windows up back, even the sunroof (from both open & tilt position).

THANK YOU!!!! I would have never known about the Windows & sunroof. I just got my 2014 Ex-l v6 less than a month ago AND I LOVE IT!!!
Jason, i found a couple more things out... the max speed that adaptive cruise will work is 90mph... dont ask(it involves a sonata turbo :-) ) secondly, on the adaptive cruise, if you hold down the speed up button it will go to the next 0 or 5mph and then increase by 5mph from there on... up to 90.
If only when you were locking the car you could hold the lock button and they would go up. I do love this feature though on my 2011 Coupe. In less than two weeks I am picking up my 2014 Sedan Sport!
I don't know if a Honda Dealer would do this. I would try a good stereo/lighting shop. Honda Dealers normally don't want to do non-warranty installs. Ill check a price to replace the HID's on a Touring, that should give you an idea ;-)

Yes the Crosstour bass and sub woofer sound better due to the placement of the speakers and the rear hatch. I have had good luck with letting the sub woofer 'break in' by turning the sub level to its highest for about 6-8 weeks. Then turn it to a normal listening level. It wont ever sound like the Crosstour but it does get better and deeper sound.

Yes Siri thru Bluetooth took place in the 2013 Accord but in the 2012 Civic. The Accord Touring is the only Honda vehicle to have ACC as of now.

Please share with us how to get the back up camera to come back. My 2014 Honda Accord V6 went to black. Is there a trick to fix this without paying an arm an a leg to Honda?
In the 2011 Accord you do have to use the exact words or phrases the car wants. there is a list of them in the help setting.
LOL, thanks for letting me know about the window opening trick. After all this time, I didn't know this happened. Bought my Accord SE brand spankin new. Now it has around 240,000 kms (Canada), slammed with Vossen wheels and an airbag setup.
The multi view is on the Accord coupe EX and the Accord sedan EX-L and you use the menu/sel button

Thank You for the feedback :-) LED daytime running lights in America only on the V6 models and in Canada only the Touring model.
Any chance of a tutorial on how to activate/use the S-Mode/Paddle Shifters? I'm in the market for a 2013-2014 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe & was curious as to how it works exactly. Thnx in advanced.
This feature is only available in the EX and above. I hope Honda will change that so all trim levels get the auto down window feature soon.
Both great questions. 1st It will only open remotely for safely BUT if you put the key in the door and turn and hold in the lock position the windows and sunroof will shut ;-) 2nd the relock feature is if you unlock your doors and dont open them the car will 're lock' itself after a set time :-) Please try both and let me know

The multi angle rear view camera starts on the Accord EX-L
It works on EX and above trim levels

+ballinboylbc You can also close all the windows at the same time by sticking the key in the door and locking it then lock it again and hold.

I am having similar issues with audio quality in my 2013 Accord Coupe with the "premium" audio system. There are more and more people popping up on Honda forums expressing frustration at the lack of quality in the sound (specifically, the bass and subwoofer response). We suspect it is a software or ANC issue. I am driving a loaner 2012 Crosstour with the Premium sound package and the quality is FAR better. I have a note into my dealer and Honda Customer Service.
OK, we would charge 2-3 hours of labor for instillation of the LED's. Our hourly rate is $120
Please use this as a guide. Hope it helps and I want to see pics when its all done!!

Another awesome video Jason! I'm about to take delivery on the 2013 accord coupe ex tomorrow! (Unless the frankenstorm stops that from happening. Do you happen to know if the ex model has the trunk open button on the actual trunk? I know I saw it on the exl but didn't see it on the Lx-s.
The hold unlock button to open windows is a really COOL feature ;)
I have an LX would the windows trick work? I literally just tried it and it didn't. Is there a way to set it up to do that through the menus? Great video BTW!
It should be simple to run another amp for a sub. or upgrading the speakers is another good idea to clean up the sound a bit :-)
In 2009 all the keys were the same and it worked on all cars. This year in 2013 it only works on the keyless start models.

Yes Sir that is customizable ;-) just press that little stick in the meter gauge. That will allow you to cycle thru your options :-)

It does not work on the 2013 Sport. Yes the window down trick did work on the 10-12 Accord models. Those years they all used the same keys. This year in 2013 they went to keyless start and the trick only works with the upper trim levels.
Now for the best trick.......how do you disable VCM on the automatic V6's ?!?!?!

well the Touring doesn't come in a coupe. The Touring only adds Adaptive Cruise Control and LED headlights. My opinion is no, it is not worth the extra $1400. Also dealers are not really discounting Touring Models :-/

I have a 2013 Accord XL w/out navigation (one screen / not two)… How do I play the radio and get Siri or my iPhone GPS app to work / interrupt the radio audio with driving directions?

That screen doesn't allow you to pick items to be shown. That would be a very cool feature though :-)

I didn't see your email address on the video. But I do appreciate you doing a video to help explain the car. I have a 2014 Accord ex-l v6. I have 2 questions.
1. On the back up camera I have mine on wide angle, you see 3 yellow lines, 2 solid and 1 dotted. What is the distant for the dotted, and single lines. I know I am still going to hit something backing up as I haven't figured this out yet.
2. The 16gb HDD. Why do they make it so hard to get music on this thing. Would be nice to just transfer I tunes library. If you make them to MP3's does the Cover & Artist still show up along with title of song? And how do you or can you erase something on the HDD?

unfortunately, Honda does not offer that option in her car. 🤷🏼

Not from the factory but you can buy them from the dealer.

Everyone asks about this upgrade. It costs $2,000 in just parts!!! I would suggest just replacing the bulbs or doing a HID kit for much cheaper.

the window/sunroof open feature is nice, but can it be applied to also closing ?
You do need an address or a place. My suggestion is to look for a police station in that city and that would be the easiest way to find almost any city in the country
with the accord 2013 sport model, that doesn't have 3 different views for the rear facing camera does it?
The roll down the windows does NOT work on my '14 base EX. Nor does the backup camera thing.
That's were the biggest blind spot is. Also, it leaves Acura to add it to their left mirror ;-)

our 1990 W124 has windows down feature but with inseting key in the door and hold it open
Yes they removed it and only have it with the keyless start cars.

I Like this channel, I think your next review (Part 3) Honda Accord should be lane keep assist system LKAS as part of the Advanced Driver Assist Sytem ADAS. I try to explain this to my customers with mixed results.

Jason, High marks for the presentation, much needed. I would like to see one featuring the Honda Nav unit as it seems to have a mind of it's own. The voice recognition on my 2011 is pretty much useless unless I use exactly the words in the help menu. HELP!!!
Why did Honda only put the Lane Watch camera on the right mirror?
