Decent vehicle. I just bought one a month ago, i love how the dash changes colors to let you know if youre saving gas or not. However, the biggest reason i bought this is because i need a car to last for a couple of decades.
@@mccrock2820, i followed the maintenance schedule even though my dad kept telling me i could leave things for a little longer before replacing. Im at 105k now, about 60% highway 40% city. No real problems yet. Knock on wood.
This is BY FAR the best CVT on the market...this one actually lets you FEEL shift points under heavier accelleration. That, along with Honda's reliability make it not only fun to drive, but ensures that the fun will actually last.
I've owned 4 Honda Accords .... Great Cars .... Looking Foward to checking out this New 2013 Accord . For a family sedan , I think you get what you pay for over the life span of the car . Sure some of the competition is cheaper in price , but who knows how they will hold up in 5 - 10 years . Other than average wear / maint .... I've never had any major issues with my Honda Accords and have kept each one for over 200,000 + Miles . I think you get what you pay for , plus the resale value on these
Minimal issues with my 2015 LX, 78k miles. Mirror issue I never noticed.. maybe my car didn't have it. Zero challenges with the starter. Minimal oil dilution issues. Zero CVT slippage, even at steep grades. Had no problems with the CVT, and actually preferred the immediate "downshift" compared to other cars (2018+ Camry) having to hunt for the right gear when you just need to go. Averaged 36mpg per tank, 70% highway. I did 6 hour drives with the cloth seats in the LX and was never uncomfortable. Really a great car. Only real issue was left rear power door lock stopped working. not a big deal since I rarely use that door. I could still manually unlock it with the button, and would just leave it locked all the time by default. Some wind noise in the rear.. overall road noise wasn't great, but I got used to it. Bluetooth always sync'd to the phone before I even got in the car. Always worked flawlessly. Backup camera was great. Tires.. while on the narrow/bubble side (205/65/R16), were at least cheap to replace.. $110 for Continental True Contact, which had better ratings than what came on the car, Pro Contact. The only main downside to the 4cyl Sedans is the cornering. Lots of body roll! Those curves are NOT fun with this car. However you'll find forums on a simple easy 30 minute do it yourself rear sway bar upgrade that helps the understeer/body roll significantly. I never got around to doing it myself, but people are confident in it.
You guys do a GREAT JOB! The camera work and commentary you provide are among the best, if not "class leading" for auto vlogs, and I subscribe to many here on TH-cam. Just wanted to send some appreciation where it's due. May God bless you all as you continue to use the talents He has given you.

I have a 14 with the 4 cyl and 6 speed manual. Perhaps Honda is more honest with the EPA numbers. EPA is 25/34. Never got less than 32. 3000 mile trip to Yellowstone was 38.5! Outside the park, speeds were 75 to 85, In the park was 45 mph. The '14 have nicer cloth. I paid less than what I thought a Civic would cost.

i just got a new 2013 accord.....its awesome! Handles amazing, looks higher class with a sporty twist....proud to be seen out in public with that car for sure
Just got an Accord this past week. In fact it's the same color as the reviewer was driving. Love it, love it, love it!!! And I totally disagree about the seats. Love the cloth even if reviewer thinks it's outdated.
I love the redesigned Accord. It's competent, capable, charismatic, and charming. This review was very informative and respectable. Introducing the new Honda Accord. This is a car that will bring a family to their destination many times over in exquisite style.
This will most likely be my next vehicle. My beloved 2002 Kia Optima is showing its age. I was torn between the 2013 Ford Fusion and the Accord. Test drove the Accord last weekend and was blown away by all the standard features & beautiful interior. The outside is a bit uninspiring but I'm not running along side looking at it. Most of the time the driver is inside. I really love the low belt line and the plentiful glass. I'm only 5'2", so I really need a low belt line and rear window
Honda's not gonna fuck up their Accord like they do their Civic now. This is their real flagship and it still will be even after another NSX is released.
For me, it was between the Ford Fusion, Honda Accord and Optima SX and I'm leaning towards the Kia...The Optima is simply the BEST looking midsize sedan on the road in my opinion and value is second to none. Think I might be joining you at the end of the year
Looking at reviews of the car with good praise make me happy that my dad kept his 9th gen for 6 years before giving it to me. The 9th gen is an all around car
I love CNet and Consumer Report for car reference. This review of your team stands out on on the visual front. The clever use of camera movement along with a movement car, the harmony of car interior lighting and the articulate delivery of the presenter combine to make it also outstanding.
I am a Sr. Sales consultant for Bryan Honda of Fayetteville. I agree with this video. 27 years driving Hondas and I tell you after driving this Vehicle I am so pumped up. Honda hit the mark. So much to this new accord things you only get on luxury $50k and up vehicles. Come see me or go to nearest Honda dealer and judge for yourself. Again why should you not buythis Sedan. It has all Honda is about. See U Soon! Romie Hawthorne
great looks outside, interior quality, fit and comfort is first rate that's the good. really a rough bumpy ride,a lot of plastics in the engine bay,cvt transmission and electric steering will take you sometime getting used to.i own both 2012-2013 accord lx if ride quality and driver feedback is your main thing last gen is a winner and you can still get one at a great price 17.5k the 2013 is a winner in everything else but the price 20.8k+doc+tax with cvt.
I have a 2012 black Honda Accord EX coupe with a five speed manual that rocks! Not only do I get looks, I get double looks and long stares even from other men. It’s a work of art: it’s beautiful with its lines and curves. The 2013 Honda Accord coupe’s looks are disappointing: it looks more like a Camry. What is the point of having a car you don’t want to stare at? I can’t see buying anything less in looks. I hope Honda gets it right the next time.
Awesome video and music is great also. Best Accord that I seen since '94, '95, '96, '97, '98 models. The competition will have to take a back seat this time.

I have to admit every model i owned was the basic model LX trim. Since these cars are bought as daily drivers. I think Honda needs to worry about getting the ergonomics of the driver seat correct before worrying about anything else. Is it that difficult to make a car that makes the driver comfortable, i think comfort should be their #1 priority. That should apply to any trim lever of car bought from Honda.

Honda used to be a class leader. Buyers need to look objectively at other manufacturers. Badges mean nothing
this accord gen will be a massive hit IMHO, standard on their lowest trim comes with rear view cam, dual zone climate, ALLOY wheels, usb plugin, bluetooth for 21.6k... beats altima, camry, malibu and fusion (although they are still good cars). can't wait to trade in my sentra in for an accord sport!

11 years later and it still looks better than most and even the current model.
Decent vehicle. I just bought one a month ago, i love how the dash changes colors to let you know if youre saving gas or not. However, the biggest reason i bought this is because i need a car to last for a couple of decades.

Actually its smart to trade in your Hondas since they have very high resale value. But to me a Honda is part of the family.
The V6 supposed to be 278hp not 272, from the other reviews on the new accord, but then again they can be wrong to on the HP ratings also.
This was really good....wasn't considering this car until now. My other choice was the Camry, but I know this one will be cheaper to maintain.
Is this one cheaper than the Camry to maintain ?
@@marcoenrique8309 they're both extremely reliable cars, historically. neither should be expensive to maintain.
