I have the red black with a different shock as well! Bought it that way. Was unaware about the compatibility of the rear shock. Did you stick with the 2.35 tires or did you go bigger?
Hey mate. I also ride 2010 enduro and also want to swap my shock. I can't find the right size, so I'm looking forward to buy a 8.5 x 2.5 shock as well. Doesn't it cause problems like linkage hitting the frame or something? Please share details, I'm worried going a lot over the stock stroke. I'm thinking about monarch+ or double barrel, if I find a cheap one.
If you bottom out completely and really smack it hard I have had it hit the frame. But only maybe 1 time. And I ride some super gnarly stuff. Drops to flat

What kind of dropper post did you have on this bike?
I think it was the stock specialized one for the expert model enduro.
