Hi Transconductor.888...i see this video is old, but your post is only from 3 months ago seeing your post, .i was hopeful to ask you some questions.... I wanted to ask if you own/ed this same 2008 bike in the video with the E150 shock. im sure you know this model was notorious for having blown cartridges etc in the specialized brand fork and rear shock. did you have these same problems issues and covered by specialized? or if you replaced suspension components with another brand. any info would be helpful. I just bought one in very good shape, stock, and didn't know about the known suspension issues. prior to buying it. I just couldn't afford a new bike and this looked good and rode nice. so far its all working fine, I wouldn't know if the front is perfect or not. or even how to tell if the front air cartridge was blown. I purchased the bike for only 350.00...an elderly man had it...not sure where he got it from.
Just wanted to drop a big, THANK YOU, ANTHONY TRUJILLO! I'm getting, Big Red (as I call her), back on the trail but needed some help with my forks. Your video was perfectly easy to follow. Hope you're doing very well all these years later! :) Taker er' easy!
One thing I would add is that when you are finished setting sag, move the O-rings as far from the dust wipers as possible. This will ensure they won't scratch the shaft/stantions if they collect grit and get pushed by the wiper. Also, bear in mind that the actual pressures in the shocks will drop a tiny bit below the reading on the dial as some air will escape from the hose when it is unscrewed-but this really does not matter as you can just add an extra 1-2psi to compensate (if you need to).
HELP, I bought 2 of these, one for me and my wife, in 2008. I still own them but unfortunately you can't get parts for the E150s any more. Can you recommend a good replacement fork for these bikes. I recently, June 2022, took them to be serviced and I was told the bikes were working fantastically apart from the front forks! The guy in the bike shop said buy a new bike! What to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi! my frame was left upside down for a week after relocating homes. the seal came off on one side and leaked a good chunk of oil. can't find a video how to top it up or check what else needs to be done with it?
So I just got recommened this 10 years later and I don't even own the bike. Furthermore when this video was uploaded I was 4 years old. Back then I unfortunely didn't know about the amazing sport of mountain biking.
I finally learned how to adjust mine after owning my Enduro for 10 years
