My Megabass brailist is an amazing chatterbait, spinner bait, jig, swim jig rod I’ve got. I didn’t buy it for that and I’ve got dozens of rods. It’s got the perfect tip backbone ratio
I use the buzz burner not just for buzz baits but frogs and jigs as well. Going to have to try the spinner bait. Thanks Tyler for another great video. Can’t wait for the next one
I full agree and love the 844 MBR. That entire line is amazing and the 843 is awesome for topwater and so versatile. I recently got the 842 and that’s great for smaller finesse baits and a blast to fish. Great comment and had to reply.
My local Lake here the water is clear and the water temperature is like 87° what type of spinner bait would you use and what color and what trailer would you use?
I like my Rerange Jerkbaits and my Hybrid Hunters. They're great for searching and locating. Where straight Fluoro doesn't work for me. Maybe it's the fast tip. I have tried Mono but the best has been with Braid and a long Fluoro leader. I do weigh down my lures to get them to the depth that I need to fish. I think the line is just as important as to the rods you are using.
I've never used a heavy rod for spinnerbaits 🤷♂️ I have many mh fast rods that handle 1/4 oz to 1oz lures with ease. Generally use a 28in to 31in per turn reel with 15lb line. Now buzzbaits is a different story lol I've used ftom medium HD rods to extra heavy moderate rods and prefer 30in to 31in per turn reels. I've been on straight braid 40lb for years now and now after fishing all those various rods a mh fast in most brands is all that needed fir a buzzbait. Straight braid and a heavy rod tends to pull the buzzbait away from the fish more so less hookup ratio over the mh rod.
Keep them coming, I really enjoy these types of videos
great video with great info. thanks
Love those cobb rods. The whole series is 🔥! Ark in a whole. Is changing the way i fish !

Let’s go I love this series
Awesome!!! 😎 Great info!!! 🤠👍
Best spinner bait rod ever is an 844 mbr. It's way more than $100 though. 😁 Nothing wrong with a $100 rod. That's all you really need.

Looking forward to the ‘jig setup’ video. Hopefully you talk about how your setups change based on the weight of the jigs.
Keep it up Tyler!

Good stuff Tyler… don’t get many largemouth around New Brunswick though they are starting to be more prevalent. Smallmouth is still king
Just received my t-shirt. And it is the most comfortable t-shirt I have ever felt. Lucky it’s too big for my wife or she would have stolen it.
