My TOP 3 Baits to use in the month of JUNE
#bassfishing #top3baits #edwinevers
Mr. Evers I love throwing a frog as much as anybody but in my opinion walking a frog isn't the correct way to use it. I prefer the Lunkerhead frogs with the natural legs and working it like a real frog. Please let me know your opinion way non of the pros use a traditional frog. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment 👍 the traditional frog action is good but so many times a frog represents other things that a bass preys on especially bluegill and shad.
Also by walking it, you can keep it in one location or the strike zone a lot longer 🎣
I know you have to push your sponsors but just an idea, how about a video on how to make what tackle we already have better? Maybe some tips on making treble hooks changes to your crankbaits, changing skirts colors, adding weight to a lure, or taking paint to old lures. Not short vids but combine it all into 1. And while your at it, what about us bankies? We all can't afford that rock-n-roll lifestyle with boats and new trucks, big house on the lake, etc.? How about you shoulder a pack this summer and walk a bank with us poor people?
He's marketing for his sponsors, but at the same time giving tips on the type of baits to use. Ignore the brand specificity and choose similar baits from your favorite brand(s). There are other very good channels that talk a lot about bait modifications if that is what you are looking for.
Hey Edwin this is Drew smith, Beth’s nephew. My partner and I just won the Missouri state championship fishing tournament last weekend with a 4 fish 14.45 pound bag. Thank you for making these helpful videos which take my fishing game to the next level! Good luck on the MLF tour!!
Great video E2! The nickname my dad came up with for me is based off of E2. My nickname is H2 because of my initials. I have always looked up to you.
Very cool! Thanks for supporting 🎣 tight lines.
Thanks for this video Edwin. I look forward to each month. I have tried a lot of your suggestions and have had success. Please keep up the good work. Wishing you much success on your tournament.
I use these tips when conditions are available. I really appreciate it!
I really need to start writing them down though. I’m getting older and you talk fast…😂! Good thing you keep these videos out there for me to come back to. 😉
Last months baits of may help me and my wife win our first tournament thank you again man keep up the good work!!
Thanks so much for the dog days of summer tips
Wishing you the best on the tournament trip
Good as always. Hoping to use some of these tips tomorrow.
Thank you.
learned a lot from this thank you for your knowledge! like and subbed 👍
Just watched this latest video and wanted to let you know that I look forward to them every time one of your videos come out.
1oz spinnerbait sounds like a winner, love to have a few
Great info wish you the best luck, big thx
thanks for your tips look forward to them each month
Last year I switched to 100% Berkley! I haven't regretted one thing. These 3 lures are missing from my tackle box. Thanks for sharing all the videos and tips. They have proven to be extremely helpful. Tight lines brother.
Glad it helped! Catch some bigs 🎣
Just subscribed, I know your name from watching BASS on ESPN. Just getting back into fishing again and learning after more than 40 years of not doing it. Can’t wait to see all the new bait and lures that have come about since I have done this.
Thanks for the sub! Welcome back
As always great stuff, I fish mostly shallow water in North Louisiana but I can see how applying the heavier concept (while it's relative) is gonna help me catch some extra summer fish.
Good stuff
Another great video 📹 keep them coming.
That swimbait looks amazing. Haven’t tried them yet.
Give it a go 🎣let me know how you enjoy it!
Always appreciate your insight and tips! Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Always look forward to these top 3 videos! Thanks for the tips. Rooting for you at James River.
Great tips. I can’t wait to try them.
Good stuff. Just subscribed!
Thank you for the top three baits! I like your outside the box thinking!
You bet!
You’re supposed to put these videos out BEFORE the month starts, not damn near halfway through the month. The fuck are we doing
Always look forward to these videos and what techniques you recommend. Thank you for your time and efforts‼️It helps me 👍
I’m a little outside the box so those would fit me well. I didn’t know Berkeley had a weedless version of the Cullshad. I throw weedless Swimbaits probably 90% of the time vs. a treble hook version.
Your videos on which baits to use each month has really helped my fishing game. I appreciate you for taking the time to explain the different baits and when to use them.
Can’t wait to try these out!
I really look forward to your videos I don’t take notes but I build my tackle box as you speak, keep em coming and I’ll keep watching. Thank you
I’ve always been uncomfortable with a spinner over 1/2oz..
you’ve convinced me.
Looking now. Thanx again for the content!
Those are all new tremendous Berkley baits... Love that BIG Spinnerbait!
Great baits. Love Berkeley baits & braid. Just getting into fishing crank baits. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent information and subject, summer time can be a challenge, great video, keep'um coming..
Way cool!! I've been watching your June-Baits videos from the last three years to get June-Clues!! Thanks you for the extra tips!
Great job bringing up the 1 oz. spinnerbait. I'd forgotten about it. Also, the reel speed. With so many talking about the 8+ speed reels. They're not always the ticket. A "slow row" presentation in 20' - 25' on 12 lb. flora or 15 lb. mono. depending on how much structure brings a good many bites. The swim bait down that deep is a great idea too. As far as Berkley for crank baits, I'll have to give them another look. I've used the DD-22 to get down deeper in the summertime.
Thanks for the refresher course. Always a good thing!
Thank you for another great video. I have been wanting to try the Dime crankbaits, but have not bought any yet. I will have to go pick a couple up. I like throwing spinnerbaits aa year long. I should use them more during the day in the summer time. I am usually throwing a black one at night. Thank you again for the time you put into your videos.
Good video for June. I've been catching them with the CullShad. Thanks to you, I'm going to try to fish the CullShad on the bottom.
I covet my 1oz Ledgebusters. Slow roll try down ledge and uphill! 17 lb flouro or 20 lb braid.
Good choices on deep diver. Blue shad and blue chartreuse!!!
Edwin - where can I get the 1 oz Berkeley Spinnerbait? I have looked at Academy, Amazon and Fish Warehouse?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge on June bass fishing. I’m planning to try your recommended baits!
You're 100% correct I've caught some giants out in 20+ft of water slow rolling a big spinnerbait. There not a lot of companies making those really heavy spinnerbaits... I don't really know of anyone other then Strikeking that makes anything over an once. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
Thanks Edwin really enjoy watching your top 3 baits every month.
hello Edwin me ,my wife and boy we will be going to bass pro shop this Friday 06/21/2024 we will pickup those baits and can't wait to use them thank you for your video's they help us out a lot!!!
I’ve not much of a deep water fisherman. I fish off a stand up paddle board. But I’m really excited for the unrigged cull shad. Will Berkley be releasing an 8” version?
I’m ready to meet you whenever you can take me out deep and let me crank that crank bait and roll that double willow leaf in 20 foot of water. I fish out of a tube all year and I’ve never gotten out deep and learned how to fish that way I’ve caught some really big fish this year in Oklahoma, but the last few times I’ve gone I’ve gotten skunked, I believe they’ve moved out. I’ve got no way to nowhere. TEACH ME BOOMER
I didn't know there was unrigged cull shads or 1oz spinner baits. I caught my pb smallmouth a week ago on a 1/2oz spinnerbait with a bunch of lead wire rapped around the shank. The whole time I was terrified it was going to come off because of it. Definitely trying bolth of those techniques. Thank you for the videos, always learn something.
Thank you so much for everything you do for bass fishing and the information you provide us to improve our fishing. How about doing something on fishing the Harris Chain in Florida, I know it's a big area and I'm just looking for a place to start? Proverbs 16:3
Always appreciate the monthly “best baits” and your setup for each. Keep it up! And you’re my favorite Okie - except for my wife.
Thanks again for the monthly lure recommendations! My conference has been low on crankbaits but I’m planning on trying crankbaits only for a few trips to try and figure it out. I’m definitely interested in that DIME !!! Thanks again!
Thank you so much Edwin !! Your shared knowledge really helps me to put fish in the boat.Great fun baits to throw for BIG fish.
Love the big spinnerbait! Looking forward to trying it out. Spring I had great success with a single blade thru the lily pad stalks. Thanks for the great information. All the best!
Edwin Evers is always on my top list of fishermen. Whether he’s serious, being comical or just in the groove of rippin lips, he is always having a good time. Thanks for the advice always!!
Edwin you always bring up great content. Thinking outsie of the box for these tough summer months. NEver would have thought to throw a spinner bait in 25 ft of water......
Thanks for the great tips! I have been trying to throw more swimbaits and will try the Cull Shad. Thanks for doing what you do!!!
Always awesome information watching your videos Edwin!
Yeah, got some really good bass off the crank Bates. I’ve never used the spinner bait though. I’m going to try thanks for all your tips and information. Sure do appreciate it for the weekend warrior fisherman.
Good Video - has FFS affected the Deep Cranking bite for you? Seems more anglers are talking about small schools of fish and more scattered groups.
Great advice as usual. Summer fishing has always been a challenge for me. Looking forward to try the Cull Shad!
As always, great insight for summer tactics for bass. Thanks for all you do for us weekend anglers.
I love that you're throwing in a few different things that most people do not throw. I got to check out the new unrigged call shad. Thanks for the great tips and baits
Fishing a spinner bait, deep? Wha whaaatt? LOVE the idea and will try it tomorrow morning on Lake Jordan NC! Thanks again for sharing all the great information. Tight lines and God bless! 😃
Definitely am going to pick up some of those cullshads! Thank you for always sharing your knowledge with us!
Really love videos, the Platinum signature series reel in a 6:8:1 is fire. Glad I purchased one. Just wish the rods had better eyelets because two of mine have already broke.
Thanks again for the monthly tips! I Hopefully am going out more this month. Stay on that G-RIND!!
My son caught his PB 6 lbs on a white spinner bait from your video on May. It was early June. Thanks for your help.
Another helpful video. Used what you talked about last month and caught my first bass of the year. Thanks again for the helpful hints!
Thanks for the great video Edwin. All these tips really help catch more fish...
Great POV
I dont know why so many of us are reluctant to throw the bigger/heavier baits, and I am one of them. Pushing myself to do it this weekend though. Thanks for the tips, cant wait for the July edition!
I love these videos, rarely show me something I didn't know but often different ways to fish the baits..... Keep up the good work!
Wow,I can't believe how popular spinner baits are. I don't think I've ever gotten a bite on a traditional bass fishing spinner bait...however I've absolutely smoked them on an in line spinner, like a mepps or a rooster tail, they're killer for bass but I just can't get bit on the big, right angle spinner bait.
Another great video buddy, stocked up on rigged cull shad.. can't await to stock up on those unrigged as well! A buddy of mine has one and fishes it weightless in his pond and bass go crazy over it! Thanks and good luck the rest of the season!!!!!
Never tried a 1oz spinner bait, I normally stop at 1/2oz. Going to have to pick some up this week!
Thanks for the info. Love summer time fishing and excited to try unrigged cull shad.
Love that Berkley is putting out the unrigged Cullchads and also in 5in. I fish from either the bank or a kayak, and having them unrigged helps when fishing around vegetation so I can swim it over it.
Awesome tip on the heavier spinnerbait, this always helps my fishing experience, Godspeed!
Your videos are awesome!! I’m a year into targeting bass. Mostly spots down here on highland reservoirs in N. Ga.. Your informative style helps me learn and then I get to put in the work.
❤ fishing
That was a terrible haircut you gave Ott. Really enjoying the After the Cast. Also hope you get out of the slump.
I’ve had some luck on flat sided crankbaits that dive 8ft+ on super pressured lakes.
Sure appreciate it Edwin. Your passion for the sport comes through very well. Keep up the great work and best of luck to you!
Old School baits with the crankbait and heavy spinnerbait 😎 Got to get out there and chunk em. Thank you for sharing these June baits 👊
I like your choices for top 3 baits for June. I Will be trying these this weekend at club tournament on keystone lake. Thanks for the tips.
Thanks for the videos. I appreciate the tips and suggestions. That dime looks great. Look forward to trying them out soon.
Most videos that have top baits of the month don’t usually have crankbaits. Love using them in June.
Awesome content thank you for all the tips! Big fan and Oklahoma fellow bass fisherman
Thank you for your monthly videos on baits to fish during the month. I have always enjoy all of your video even though I don't always comment. Guess I need to more often. These videos even help out here in CalIfornia
What's going on with the pond builds? Would love to see another series about your ponds!!! Tight lines Edwin.
I've learned so much from your videos.. Great stuff!!!
Hey, when you get a chance, look at Fontana lakes in Bryson city North Carolina it’s the tallest damn east of the Rockies 480 feet tall but I sure do appreciate all the tips and information you give out help out a lot
Thanks for sharing your knowledge on these videos always enjoy watching them and learning more ways to fish. Thanks again.
Thanks Edwin for the tips and I always have a spinner bait tied on from spring till fall . Bouncing a one oz. blade off the bottom this time of year would clean house lol !
Thank you Edwin as always for sharing your experiences and insights on these seasonal baits. Good luck and be safe for the rest of your travels for the year. God bless.
Love summer cranking. Keep up the good work on the videos. Good luck on the rest of your season.
👏👏👏👏
Thanks for another great video, Edwin! I learn a lot from you and greatly appreciate it!
Thanks Edwin, I for one struggle fishing deep in the summer, Can't wait to try these
I've never thought of fishing a spinner bait that deep! Going to try that next day out! And also thank you for explaining line sizes to keep those baits in that strike zone at target depth. I get that wrong from time to time. I appreciate these videos Edwin! Thank you for the time you put into to these! God Bless!
Great suggestions and will try to incorporate what was taught to us within my June fishing. TY again for the vids. 🐟
