I honestly love this, I love how this animatic portrays Luna, she's appreciating the beauty in her night, and she keeps this feeling but you can also feel her slightly turning into Nightmare Moon. The blue hair near the end was a nice touch as well! Keep up the amazing work!

I wasn't sure at first, because Luna looked too carefree and then suddenly was Nightmare Moon, but actually, the way it's presented here is more like a liberation for Luna than the hate and jealousy-based transformation that's usually depicted. I think that's a really neat viewpoint and I like it. Good job:)

I watched the first one you put out, and I really do love how you differentiate your pony faces.
I also love how she has that happy face near through all of it and then the fearsome nightmare moon at the end. Very nice contrast!

I think it's amazing how you portray Luna going through the different emotions. I see it in this animatic as how she is appreciating the beauty of her night, but then realizes nobody loves her night, and then how she believes if she makes the night eternal, the ponies will finally love and appreciate her, and she believes this so firmly until finally when she turns into Nightmare Moon, where her beliefs get warped

I love the way you pictured Luna during this song but I do wish it was the feminine voice.
Still I think the male version of the song is the best one. :D
Don't get me wrong they have a great voice but Luna is a girl so I just think that it would be better to have a girl singing
Nora, I 100% understand. But the male version has the best emotions in it. It's somehow true for me. :)
However I belive there is a solution - a genderbend. ;) And I concider this option. :D

I'm planning to start working on my own animation, but I'm a bit unsure about the process. It won't take long, though, since I'm planning to animate some 30 seconds. If you have any tips, I'd be eager to hear them.
By the way, my great grandmother was a Polish woman. I thought you'd find that piece of information interesting. :-)

+Ithlini Ellyan Senah awwwh well its still looking like a rough sketch so maybe when you look back on frames you'll see things that you know you want to change and if not i'd advise you to take a day off from working on it, come back and rewatch watch you've done, you'll be coming back with fresh eyes then and that is seriously the best way you can see any flaws, i do that so much with my art and it really does help :P
+Kaden Kati Yeah, I agree. When I was working on it, I already saw some big, big mistakes. Right now I work on character sheets, so doing something else that animatics. But I am so on to this project that I can't even sleep without thinking about it. XD
I cant take this seriously with the auteo of a male singing and luna looking well luna female
+Kikyo Akiyama Well I wish there could be a good female version but there is not any without jarring or terribly bad voice acting so I decided to use this male one. It is the most professional.
Ithlini Ellyan Senah I do agree with the male version I do like to see a gender bend of the mlp charaters and not always female yet its based for the female gender.
but its not to see it the other way around for example frozen someone animated a male version of it of let it go and that's huge xD
I do like the song in this male of corse but I just couldn't take it seriously cos luna looked female if you wanted her be male-ish so to speak should have taking out the eye lashes to make her a him that's what I would have done at least all in all its good so far
