Awesome! Hyped for the final thing for sure! I always imagined the entire thing and specifically the Harmony scene in a video with a pageant recounting how things happened in times past. With Discord telling the story and the princesses joining him on stage for their parts, as well as fireworks and a flying wonderbolts dancing choreography, with a real stage show and stuff, you know. (Un)luckily I cannot animate, so this will never happen :D
I'm positive that the finished version of this video is going to jaw droppingly amazing and loved, but it's such a heartbreaker that you're only doing this one song. Lord knows I LOVED the entire album and I still listen to it regularly, but never will we see the full album in animation format. That would just take an eternity to create. Ah well. I only recently discovered the stories told in L-Train's symphonic metal style, and this animation. I hope it will be completed someday because it looks really impressive.
This video raises the question I've had for a while, why doesn't Luna have her own throne? I mean that's what was so cool about the old castle, two thrones side by side showing their status as co-rulers. The one throne that only Celestia sits in kind of makes it hard to see the restored status of them being "co-rulers". Maybe season 5 will have them be more like in this video if we're lucky.
MLP :FiM animation crew could take a hint from your castles. I love the style! It's nice that you panned over some of the windows in the throne room and i love how you drew in a guard passing in front of the camera to change scenes. very effective!
Y'know those moments where Celestia and luna are singing together? Something about that has an emotional impact on me. Maybe it's knowing what comes next or something but it somehow feels like a tearjerker. I love it.
I often imagined how might an animation for Moonrise look like, especially for this part as I listen to it the most and it's my favourite, but holy shit that went beyond whatever I was thinking of. One might consider this to be awesome. One would be correct. Additionally, it came to my mind that, with quality sound editing, this animatic could be re-purposed for a bunch of different stuff, what with its awesome castles and shots of the guards. For instance, it would be really easy to switch on some old-school Warcraft 2 music in there... but that's just me rambling.

I think he never finish his animatic , but I work hard on it from last 2 weeks and I colorize all his project and maybe in next 2 months I finish it. Then I but here a link to this version. Edit: i add 16 different movement animation and the visual part of everything is incrised by me. Still working .

Moonrise is the only animation I'm producing right now. I also do art on deviantArt, but I've got no collabs going there at the moment, either.
