Love it bro. My 12 yr old son studies your videos. He paints and customize his model cars ever since he was 8. Now he fabricates lowrider bikes and he’s always trying to do your next paint job. Sometimes its hard to keep up with him. Thanks for the videos.

Absolutely love the work you do man, would really love a super in depth video on every aspect, especially the beginning base coat before airbrushing, and the clear coat stage in the end. Really want to try for this for myself one day. Your videos are awesome!!
also if you could do a video on what you would recommend for the amazon supplies as beginner on to advanced that would be super helpful, especially considering all the supplies add up
will do thanks
Now that was bad ass

I'm in Northeast Indiana. This deck lid I pretty much done. Just getting it smoothed out now. Almost time to do the hood now. 😂🤣😂🤣

Wow!!!
Amazing finish. I have been trying to get the courage to try something like this on my heritage softail. I might just give it a try.
Said it before and I'll say it again... you're the John Wick of tape. And I just had 34 questions answered just from watching this. You're the best brother man!
Lol. Haha. Thanks brother I appreciate your support
You make it look easy but you still need skills to do this, beautiful job too
Man, I would love to costom paint my little car. Lol 😆 its a raggedy red and it would just be fun to put some spice on my little gas saver. By the way your paint jobs are seriously amazing!
Haha. Thanks for watching 🙌🙌
I got to practice laying tape straight and even margins between last layers
this here is the video that inspired me to get started to paint my bike. I have ordered my lime line paint gun so I will start sanding the parts then will have to buy the urethane Black base coat, clear coat, flakes and reducer in the first step then I will purchase the Cobalt blue Kandy concentrate, tapes and stencils.
That’s awesome!!! Your on the right path my friend. Thank you for the support
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint#paintin
thank you for your willingness to teach the least I can do is to chip in Two bucks a month to further my education in an artistic craft that may pay good dividends on a side gig.
I do have a question concerning candy clear powders: if the directions are followed by dissolving them in reducer so they dissolve before adding the clear coat do they work good or no?
looking for ways to stretch my budget as much as possible.
@timewarpCustomPaintThanks
Another great paint job bro, I absolutely love ur work. I wish I had the money to be able to support ur great work, hopefully in the not to far future. Can't wait to paint my models and shoot u pic, hope it's at least 1\4 of ur talent.
No worries brother appreciate you watching!!👊
Nimekubali!! Unatisha sana!! Hongera sana!
Thanks for watching
Great work,,, I don’t know if I missed it, but are you spraying the flake through the 1.3?
What kind of compressor are u using for ur airbrush? Phenomenal work and talent!
Iwata studio
What do you call this style? I remember this from when I was a little kid in the 80's. Love it man. Beautiful!
You make it look way too easy😅,looks insane! 💪😎👍
I feel like I'm gravitating towards painting motorcycles. Doing my first bike this winter and going with a simple black but I may get a little crazy. Wanna do black and gold with some Japanese styling as it's a yamaha
Sounds awesome
Do you have any videos on just adding like a picture but without having to paint the whole tank? Just curious. I wouldn’t know where to start.
did you have to sand down the flake before proceeding with the project?
How did you prep the dash? Did you fill it in or just prime? What supplies fid you use?
I think it was already black so I just scuffed it down
Man. I wish I could freestyle with the fine line tape and flow like that. My hands are to shaky. I always have to measure sh!t out and make chalk marks, and go back and redo corners. You make it look effortless.
Thanks man I appreciate you watch in
What PSI are you spraying at for clear coating with metal flakes, or does it even matter that much?
brother scan and cut for stencils you dont have to tape as mush and you can save them
la base la pintas negra o plateada y aplicas el metal flakes
Buenas noches amigo mis felicitaciones es usted un Máster, me gustaría saber en qué parte de los estados unidos se compra esa cinta LiME LiNE de un 1/16
When you sand the clear with 600 grit .is that good enough for the paint to stick . And if you have both fenders gas tank and saddle bags do you do them at the same time
yes and yes
That is fantastic work👍👍did you do the front and rear fenders also?
Yes I did thanks for watching
Hey noob question, I’m buying a motorcycle. It’s kind of old but it’s really cool however the cool scheme of black and orange on it isn’t cool to me so I wanted to put like acid green or something where all the orange is. Can I just tape off the black sections and spray paint my desired colour on the orange part or do I have to do something to the orange preexisting paint first?
Thank you :) 🏍
I followed this video and my piece came out really nice. I clear coated it with 1 medium coat then 3 wet coats and now it’s dry, I can feel all the areas that were taped off where the paint has built up. How do I go about sanding it now so I can clear it again? If I sand it with all the low and high spots, is it likely to cut through the high spots where I painted the outlines that were taped? What grit paper would I use to prep for another few coats of clear? Also, do I need to get it flat and smooth to apply more clear or can I get away with just scuffing up the clear to adhere the next few coats?
I would probably use 1200 grit or just a scuff pad will be fine no you don’t have to get it all the way leveled out before re-clearcoating
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint thanks for replying! Killer channel and lots of good products on Amazon
Hey man, Can you shed some light on the best way to prep and tape the gas hole? i had problems with it starting to peel and flake after the tape was removed and I added gas a few times. Cant wait to watch this video regardless!
I tape them up with masking tape. Some bungs are better than others. Sometimes gas peels paint its the nature of the beast!! chopper tanks that don't have that little lip are the worst
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint I appreciate the time man, and yea mine is sort of inset but ill try and make sure its clean and tape it good! what about after several clear coats, Do you remove the tape with its still tacky to prevent it cracking? Also smart replying right before the video drops, I'm here to watch! lol
I want to do that
#paintin @TimeWarpCustomPaint
So, painting front, rear fenders, fat bob tank, side covers. realistically how much base coat, clear with metal flake, clear with Kandy Concentrate clear finish and reducer should I expect to use for a similar paint scheme?
What advice can you give a newbie on what type of airbrush to use I have painted cars and bikes with solid colors only never picked up a airbrush in my life and willing to step up my game
The airbrush at Harbor freight works good. I think it’s called Avante.
I’ll look into it thanks. I’m in the middle of a salvage bike now I want the appearance of stock but with bling. I’ve watched most of your videos trying to pick up pointers it’s amazing how your forward thinking turns out to a finished product
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint the harbor freight airbrush did not like solvent based paint it fouled up real quick
That’s weird I use a harbor, freight airbrush with solvent all the time
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint thinned out paint to spray. 1/2 way through started blowing bubbles in cup and dripping out tip. took it apart soaked overnight never strayed again however they did warranty. defect
How much psi is for the pen brush ?
What color is that basecoat?
What do you mix your Kandy concentrate with to reduce? Or do you just spray?
reducer and clear basecoat
What is the ratio of kandy kolor to intercoat for spraying? Thanks and great work!
I do about 4 to 1
Here in PA, I'm %99 sure I'm looking at a motorcycle you did.
Have you used any of the Grex airbrushes you have in your store?
Yes I’ve use the trigger style
How long do you let the stripe/lace paint dry or flash off before pulling the fine line masking tape?
Just a few minutes when applying with an airbrush
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint Thanks
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint Yet another question: What could be the cause for basecoat ripping off from underneath lying (former) paint when peeling tape off? Former paint underneath was sanded and cleaned before new basecoat was sprayed on; no reaction between paints happened - but at some spots new basecoat ripped off with the tape. :-(
@@BillyRillkratz sounds like bad prep. Or paint Wasent fully dry before you applied tape
Hello, I am new to your channel, I love the content.
Can you make a video about getting a Marble Effect,
Thanks
Sure thing!
👌✌️🤝
EASY MY ASS !! Obviously done this a time or a thousand!! LoL
Where can I get that stencil at I can’t find on the link you posted let me know thanks
on Amazon next week
What’s the difference between a tape removal blade and an exacto knife,
removal blades will not scratch your paint
Ever have issues with paint getting under the tape?
You’re probably oversaturating with Paint or you’re using the wrong tape
@@TimeWarpCustomPaint thanks
Man I want to try this, what are some good beginner supplies?
www.amazon.com/shop/timewarpcustompaint?ref=inf_pub_timewarpcustompaint
How do you determine your ratios?
the product instructions. and testing the spray patterns
what's the trick to do the same pattern on the other side? So it will look symmetrical
My last live shows how I did it
What is the 4:1 ratio mix as the last step?
Clearcoat and Hardner
