My uncles been building custom choppers up in Westchester county for 54 years now. I’ve been engaged in painting and ink brush art for most of my life and I really want to put the characters I created onto cars, custom decals, and of course custom choppers. I love my uncle but he’s never around to show me his craft so I’ve been figuring it out on my own and your videos have helped greatly, straight to the point, and very informative, I love your work.
Speaking as a person who cant even put sellotape to wrap a present without it being stuck to me, the dog and everything but the present, im in awe of how you lay the pinstripe tape down! So precise its astonishing!
Absolutely stunning and humble; thanks for sharing, I've been painting automotive stuff since 1987, taped miles of flames, and I sincerely thank you for the schooling here with the skull's.... can't wait to try and do it this way, I always thought that dudes were just exceptionally talented artist and free handed them with the airbrush....Thank you thank you
Wow ,man. That’s the most realistic,POPing, 3D LQQKing ,coolest skull I’ve seen on a tank… I’m 47 ,used to be an artist back in the day and am now going to paint my street glide. There’s SO much into it,air compressor set up, spray guns ,material , technique,it’s overwhelming but… it’s my bike,I’ll paint it until I’m happy w it. Haha. Thanks for the tutorials. I’ve liked and subscribed and will definitely be watching a lot more. Thanks again man
Hi from France ! Need to tell you that you are really amazing !! Lots of people don't want to share and explain job because don't want their "jobs" stolen. And here you are trying to bringing people to try that by themselves. I don't know if i will ever try out but I thank you so much for that. Bless you
Im pushing 70 and 50 some years ago i was doing flames with lacquer and it was a royal pain in the ass....i would very much like to get back into painting because i want to give up trucking...these urethanes and related products are freaking light years ahead of what we doing in the 70s....but that is progress i guess..great video by the way
I'm sure prices go up as well the more renown an artist (and his work) becomes over time...at least I'd assume so like most art. Anyways, how much does stuff like this usually cost on average??
Another awesome and informative video. You make it look easy which we all know it ain’t. Keep pumping out the kick ass videos and we’ll all keep enjoying the ride. Cheers Bro.
Beautiful work man! Thank you for sharing, im just a DIY guy that always enjoys learning new things from working on homes to doing anything automotive and some fabrication work. Hey Adam, in order to get the shading in the area around the teeth and other dark areas, how close should you be to the work surface and also, is it better to spray without the tip on the end of the airbrush and just leave the needle exposed?
I'm currently saving up for a full respray of my 2015 ultra limited. watching your videos is a lot of fun and really inspiring to maybe do something more than just a monochromatic paint job even if it means waiting another season to paint.
When making pinstripes, then paint is airbrushed on. How long before tape can be removed? Also same question for removing HD logo stencil if Dry .004" micro flakes was painted? Love your Videos. Thanks Lynn
Man your videos are the best. I have learned alot in the last 2 months. 12 years sounds about right. The way you lay that tape out is insane. Ive attempted it and its no joke. Had some fenders sand blasted down on my 1st attempt. Started over. 2nd time was a little easier. I went to octc for collision repair. I have a sprayed a few cars but i never learned anything like this. Its been 8 years since i picked up spray gun. Thanks for awakening an old passion and thanks for taking the time to actually break everything down on how you do all this.
Thank you for all the informations and the tips on this video. Your final result is excellent!!!! Im a painter to, and the Last few months i've been practising on my New airbrush, keep up the good job!!!!!!!

I miss painting with basecoat urethane! Nowadays my setup won’t allow me to and I’m stuck with water based paint. It works but lacks the flow of the urethane. They came a long way with it and, for spray gun, it’s fine, it’s when it comes to the airbrush that it gets hairy. It gotta be so thinned down that it’s different to say the least. I used to have my own shop as you do but now i don’t. I’m going to start posting some stuff I’ve done and share with you guys to. I have some of my old stuff but trying to keep up with the present ones so I document it. Thanks again! Peace

Q... Do you have a private channel or something to learn more on what I will be needing Cheers
can you explain why you did the first fogging of the stencil at about 8:30, but then basically completely covered it in light gray by about 8:45? Was it to get a basic skull shape on the tank? If so, wouldn't a reverse stencil of a skull have been better? Thank you so much for sharing all you do I may even try it myself someday on my bike👍👍
Lovely tank mate! How many coats of clear did you apply before flatting back with 600? Also if there any specific reason you go for 4:1 clear coat instead of a 2:1 etc? Better for flatting and polishing? Thanks!
It drives me crazy when you use razor blades to cut, do you not like Xacto knives? I keep Xacto and sharpening stones at all times. However, you can't argue with your results! I am constantly amazed, Adam.
Great job! I prefer the razor blades myself as well. The exacto blades only in special circumstances. Good taste in picking up the images to use and the music background!!
Hey man. I’ve got a 1998 Titan Gecko RM super Stretch and I am taking this on on my own. Thanks so much for the vids. Do you have any gold or silver sheet demos where you use it under the paint? I want to do my frame black with a silver decorative blotch then red. But solids black (piano black) for the tins. Any suggestion on anything other than a base cost clear cost? Maybe metal flake etc?
Dig your channel! Good work on the tank and video. subscribed! I've done quite a few custom paint jobs over the years. May need to do some flames on my shop truck project. Enjoyed the vid!
The eraser makes dots. scratching with a razor blade for example makes more of a line. I prefer scratching the paint away when Im painting hair or fur. but an electric eraser does better and creating a texture look in my opinion.
Amazing work of art Adam! I am just getting started. How many hours did it take you to complete this project? What is the average consumer price for a work of that nature? Thank you!

@@TimeWarpCustomPaint Hi, just a tip for ya, I grew up in a body shop family back in the early 60's.
