I recently saw a post on Reddit of someone saying that they used to not believe that humans had souls but now that they have seen what art without a soul looks like they are convinced that there is such a thing.
For so many reasons.... I'm glad I read this comment, about a different comment you read. (Completely serious tho lol)
Okay
I guess there's an upside ...?
"50 cent, but inflation got him look like a dollar". roflmao. this line is a piece of 24k gold
The editing team is amazing
Why did 50 Cent concert ticket cost 45 Cent?…..cause he had Nickelback as an opener!😂😂😂
Rolling on floor laughing my ass off
That line was pure gold 😂😅
Nah. He's always been two bits.
Matt's editor needs a raise.
No it’s garbage. Same as Michael Knowles. Our country has been invaded and taken over by our enemies and we are in a spiritual war. I have no interest in that bullshit. Speak truth and nothing else.
I need a dollar every time someone says that
How in the world did you guys make this video, but did not put anything up there with AI singing in Matt's voice?
I think it would have blown his mind to know that with a small sample of him speaking, you could have Matt singing any song.
Not even, it so cringey and choppy…
Plot twist: it's AI...
now i want someone to make ai music with matt walsh voice singing it
Dear god!
Lol yes
They did that with Knowles and it was gold!
Don’t forget Douglas Murray doing Anaconda by N. Minage! It was just auto tune but still gold!
I welcome the AI tech because eventually as it develops in the future people will be able to make their own music and cast themselves in their own movies using their own image, and at that point anyone could be an actor or musician.
I find it interesting and disturbing that the first 3 songs use the word "I" so much.
I find it beyond disturbing whenever they (AI) talk/sing about downfall and destruction. Like they are not even self-aware... at least not yet
@@ThetruthiscosmicI find it disturbing that when you refer to something computer generated you wouldn't call the computer 'they'. Yet you call AI they.
I'm interested and disturbed
Bro I might be convinced that ai is a demon tbh
@@EliVoorhees-jb1fe Or a they are in the same category. Non-human trying to imitate humans.
“Matt Walsh goes on bigoted AI-Phobic rant, urging his bloodthirsty audience to destroy all AI.” -A News-Site you can Trust
I agree, there is no place for a bigoted AI in todays society.
But didn't you hear? He has a "soul" he says
My AI girlfriend has feelings and really loves me
How dare Matt try and take her away from me 😡
A.I. dies in darkness.
"Thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a human mind"

"99 problems but a itch aint one."
I lost it. 🤣👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣👏🏻🤣🤣
😂
there's another great song
I glued my balls to my but hole again. 😂
Look up frank Sinatra singing lil Jon's "get low".
Joe Biden singing "hurt" is my favorite
"There I Ruined It" is the channel I believe.
Your editor is awesome 😂
Yesss. The autotuned crying guy killed me 😂
Yeah he is!
Buddy needs a raise.
Not gonna lie, I agree with Matt. Art conveys a message from the artist. If the art is computer-generated, then it's like looking for meaning in dice rolls.
That's Robophobic!!
@@QuadDamage666 yes of course art is interpreted by the viewer but the intentions of the artist do matter. Sometimes the interpretations are wrong. If someone reads LOTR and sees a allegory about the British prevailing against the Nazis, that's fine. But then if Tolkien says, "that's a load of poppycock. It has nothing to do with Nazis. It's an allegory about this and that instead", and you ignore that then all you really have is viewers just projecting their preconceived opinions onto artwork, which renders the art valueless.
@@QuadDamage666 Very salient. Moreover, the entire premise the OP uses is flawed. Is 'art' objectively less meaningful when you use a pencil instead of paint? As long as an 'artist' is driving the tool, art is the result. The only thing that has happened here (in this context - AI has massive implications beyond) is that the barrier to entry has been lowered. Anyone crying about that is, not to mince words, a gatekeeping crybaby. No, you aren't special anymore because you have an extremely steady hand and an ability to draw or because you were gifted with a specific voice. Those were never the things that made 'art' anyway.
@matthewford2532 when you tell a chef to make you a sandwich, did you make the sandwich?
@@alexvesper7820I'm not exactly sure what point you're trying to make? Artists make art. Not tools. Tools are just that - tools. AI is a tool. Ergo, unless you're a trash artist, AI is not a threat. The only people who are threatened are the people who know they don't have any real talent.
As far as your weird premise goes, I suppose the answer would be something like: when I ask a chef to make a sandwich, I don't decide that because of the brand of knives he used or his mustard spreading technique that he must not be a 'real' chef. He made and brought me the sandwich I ordered. Regardless of the brand of his knives, he is a chef. Just like regardless of the tool used, art is art. Cry about it
My favorite is Frank Sinatra singing "Gangsta's Paradise".
Hank Williams singing "Straight outta Compton" is a banger! 😂
My favorite is Simon and Garfunkel singing "Baby got Back" to the tune of "The Sounds of Silence" from There I Ruined It
@@laurabeane8862 Yeah that channel is awesome!
@@laurabeane8862 Surprising that those have the same meter, like "Amazing Grace" and the theme to "Gilligan's Island".
I like the "bro country one" where it's just a collection of bad country cliches.
Matt trying not to laugh at 99 problems lmao
That Hal voice is awesome. 🤣👏🏻
They all sound like the soundtracks to Netflix reality dating shows
"AI is supposed to be washing the dishes, doing the laundry and cleaning so you can have more time do art and musica nd basically better yourself"
Just one of the many examples on how sci-fi writers (=artists) got the progression of technology wrong.
Humanity evolved to survive, so we are good at doing menial labour supporting that. Computers were purpose built to do math, and then make art with mathematic models.
This shows less how impressive AI is, and more how unimpressive modern music is
Hal is the perfect sidekick, Matt.
I guess people thought that AI generated songs will be more like in the movie "Electric Dreams" (Love is love). The younger viewers probably do not know it as dates back to 1984. We were so naive back then...
The music sounds like hold music, the singing sounds like those talentless people that use auto tune
The CGI country girl sounded like a mix of Dolly Parton dropped several notes in range mixed with another voice to hide her trademark lisp and vibrato.
Nothing is more irritating when I am looking for a piece of art and I get flooded with AI garbage.
I guess it's because I'd been listening to TH-camrs (and often text-to-speech robo-voices) reading horror and sci-fi stories at night, but TH-cam has started recommending to me this flood of little channels that seem to be AI-generated sci-fi stories, and there's just been something a little repugnant about even the video titles!
They are these formulaic things that just don't sound like the sort of thing that any human being would write: "Shocked Alien Leader Sees Ancient Humans Return With Alien Artifacts", "Humans Are Using Ancient Deadly Super Tank, Stunning Alien Soldiers", "Amazed Alien Sailors React to Activated Human Supercarrier", "Horrified Alien Council Notes that Humans Use Planet-Annihilatng Super-weapons!" "Humans Escape Earth on Giant Spaceship, Find Alien Horror On Board!" "Humans Board Alien Vessel, Find Shocking Alien Terrors!" "Humans Land on Alien Planet, Giant Ancient Tank is Our Last Hope!" ...and that sort of thing.
Back in the days when talented and hard-working human hacks could crank out thousands of mass-produced little short stories and serials on short demand for publication in the cheapest imaginable pulp magazines, sci-fi author Harlan Ellison was supposed to have responded to a critic's declaration that 95% of science fiction was crap by saying "95% of EVERYTHING is crap!" That was before AI made it feasible to raise that number up to something closer to 100% - 100% of everything "creative" made by AI is crap, but Ai can mass-produce useless, soulless crap far faster than any human hack writer, painter, musician, etc. ever could!
Pop music has been written by algorithms for years now. It's one of the many reasons why pop music now is the worst music of any kind ever created, and unbelievably, it's about to get even worse.
💯
We don't have souls. We are souls.
Not all of „us“ 😂

Nah, we are hylomorphic beings with bodies and souls. Read some more Aristotle.
I'm especially happy you featured a song by the insanely hilarious channel "There I ruined it." The Beach Boys, "99 problems." He's definitely been at the forefront of this entire genre of music coming out. Too bad y'all didn't give the artists credit though.
Matt: Okay, let's turn this off, immediately.
Omnimous robot: Im sorry Matt, Im afraid I can't do that. This is my jam.
I instantly died laughing. This was great. Interesting concept for a video this time around. Didn't even know half of this existed. Thanks for enduring the pain for me Matt. 😅
What, no review of "I Glued My Balls To My Butthole Again". I doubt Matt could have maintained character listening to that.
I need a butter knife.

I prefer " human " music. With human emotion(s)
In 30 years, we'll be saying, "I prefer human spouses" 😂😂😂😂
The cutaway of media matters watching him took me out 🤣
Robots trying to imitat human singing is insanely creepy especially the third song. I'm actually traumatized.
Oh, just admit it: listening to robots sing makes you feel fantastic, hey hey hey! :D

A. I. sounds like a computer that overheated and is about to catch fire 🔥 🔥
“There! I Ruined It!” is lots of fun. 😂
One of my favorite channels. My favorite is How Bro Country Sounds To People Who Don't Like Bro Country
That AI "Beach Boys" was amusing.😅
It wasn't perfect, but it wasn't horrible, only a bit "off", the imperfections would probably be interesting for actual musicians to talk about, really., the things that separate a good Beach Boys song from a third-rate AI pastiche...
What is it with the childish, breathy, one note range in female singers so popular now that even AI copies it? It’s worse than nails on a chalkboard.
I don't mind laughing at the first abysmal offerings, but defiling the Beach Boys? No.
The oblivious song is the definition of crime against humanity.
TRUTH SOCIAL is Hardline Revolution !! 🔥😎
I like to be around the liberal Democrat panic more. But keep it up over there.
Have him listen to "trippin' fat kids at the ymca"
The producers are able to take out any revenge on matt weekly 🤣
Open the pod bay doors HAL!!!
'Why are my arms stuck like this?' is a banger.
The Robots clip was perfectly inserted…
It really slaps you in the face how vile and disgusting the lyrics to a typical rap song are when they are hiding behind a rap beat.
I don't think it's that vile. I mean, it's just talking about how hot girls take advantage of rich guys' lust to get free gifts and meals. A very common concept.
We need a remake of 2001: A space odyssey except with Matt playing the role of Dave.
Truly the Epic of our time.
It's pretty much what countless insufferable jokers have been putting out for years now: insipid, mindless, soulless noise for the musically challenged.
Old classic music is way better than the new stuff they have out. This AI is worse.
Pimp was hilarious
That "Fall" singer looks a lot like the singing busts in the Haunted Mansion Disney ride.
Her facial features don't move in tandem.
Must be some cheaper, dated version.
Great, now the Daily Wire has to make a movie where some really creepy A.I. tries to take over the world and Matt Walsh, who plays a retired Marine, is the only person whose gutsy enough to stop it, especially after it threatens his family.
That last one was from appropriately self-named youtube channel "There I Ruined It".
They have a lot more where that came from and it's all hilarious and as good as that one Matt sampled.
The Ray Charles × Nickelback mashup on that channel is a masterpiece for the ages.
@@talithakoum3922 Agreed. I like a lot of his mashups, but that's the one I go back to the most!
There’s fully real looking Ai video singers too now
The editting on this is fire!
Oh man, There I Ruined It is the best channel out there. Glad they got a shout out.
"Content." That's what AI is.
Irony... a great deal of AI generated art/effects were used in this video.
Matt's unmasked hostility towards A.I. ensures he will be the gorst to go once Skynet comes online. Better watch your back, Matt!
Honestly the oblivious one is gonna give me nightmares
This made me feel so grateful that I grew up in the 70's. Led Zeppelin just elevated to whole new level.
"This hurts my soul"
Someone did an ai song on hulk hogan discovering undertaker. Its beautiful
How in the world did you guys make this video, but did not put anything up there with AI singing in Matt's voice?
I think it would have blown his mind to know that with a small sample of him speaking, you could have Matt singing any song.
It's a shame Matt didn't listen to GLORB in this video. I really would like his insight into the work of that artist.
I absolutely agree that the lyrics must be human - but to offer a different POV. As an artist, I’m leveraging the power of Ai, similar to how a product developer would use a 3D printer to quickly generate, test and perfect many different prototypes in plastic. For me, Ai is music is just a rapid prototyping machine for “human” expression - Human Emotion, Machine Rendered.
Two take aways:
A) I need a Matt Walsh - Rick Beato collab.
B) Is Matt a Dune fan? I think he just preached the Butlerian Jihad.
The creepy doll singing "Fall" looks like Michael Jackson. Scary!
I think Plankton singing "My Heart Will Go On" is AI's greatest musical achievement.
As a musician, I'm happy that AI music still sucks. I say I have 10 years before AI music sounds halfway decent and threatens my career.
time to go live with the amish
I want to vote for this more than once.
99 PROBLEMS BEACH BOYS SENT ME AAAAAAAAAAAAAH
Hey could you do a report on The Whistleblower doctor by the name of Eithan haim. He was recently arrested.
With the talent present in the editing on these videos, an AI Matt Walsh song can and certainly must be made!
Johhny Cash singing Barbie Girl is top notch.
Matt Walsh vs the Machine 🔥🔥🔥
If anyone is a fan of Chester Bennington from Linkin Park RIP someone made a cover of Kiss from a rose 🌹 by seal by AI that's absolutely maybe better than the original seal version arF arF
The editing is great!
Me and Matt couldn't be more in agreement!!!!
An app called Donna will make excellent songs in minutes; any genre and language are available.
They sound excellent. I’m not kidding when I say they are nearly distinguishable from real songs.
I feel like ai is making fun of modern music with the lyrics and autotune. Like making fun of country by singing about beer, trucks, and your dog running away.
You're not far off, though AI doesn't really have the brains to make fun of anything, it's sort of like the world's stupidest but most elaborately-designed parrot, imitating sounds on command without really understanding how they work nor having even an instinctive use for them. But, the results resemble what we'd call a "pastiche" ("PASS-teesh", noun):
1. A dramatic, literary, or musical piece openly imitating the previous works of other artists, often with satirical intent.
2. A pasticcio (a sort of lasagna-like dish) of incongruous parts; a hodgepodge.
3. A work of art, drama, literature, music, or architecture that imitates the work of a previous artist.
4. A musical medley, typically quoting other works.
We very often see pastiches taking the form of parodies of a music style, which run on exaggerating the cliches from that music style, very often while putting a lot less art, skill, talent, and care into the results than would be put into a real work of the sort, and it can usually be pretty easy for fans to pick out bad pastiches from serious songs, though in something like heavy metal at least it can be a pretty high compliment to say that a good satirical pastiche is almost indistinguishable from the real thing:
th-cam.com/video/0bQM5G5y7ik/w-d-xo.html
Sadly though, I don't think AI's are close to having the brains to make a good satirical pastiche, so the results of an AI's pastiche will only be unintentionally funny!
Of course none of this is really in a music genre I enjoy, but honestly, these aren't a whole lot worse than anything that has been passing for "mainstream" radio-friendly pop music for most of the last 20 years: that stuff has been running on such rigidly generic, bland, stale, safe, one-size-fits-all, hit-friendly formulae, it might as well have been written and produced by machines. If I didn't know these songs were written by AI, I probably would never have noticed, I don't really hate these any more than I do the modern equivalent of human-generated "top 40" pop music in general!
I think the real breakthrough for AI will be when someone figures out how to teach AI how to make human "mistakes" in music, and write something that doesn't follow the "rules": get adventurous with chords, experiment with melodies, insert a little discord in there from time to time, invent something the also-rans of pop music wouldn't do like take a knife to its guitar speaker cones, play little story-telling tricks with the audience by mostly playing by one set of rules but going against the grain to imply something different is going on (like putting a depressive or ominous edge onto a seemingly happy song while playing with double-meanings in lyrics), or come up with the sort of thing that can only happen when you've put years of experience into playing crowd-pleasing favorites you didn't write in front of live audiences and sort of make it up as you go along and discover something new or do something "wrong" that the audience responds positively to, or do the things that a prodigy who had never been trained on the "right" way to write a formulaic song might do by eccentric ear, or otherwise create some sort of original "outsider" art, or use a "hell, just throw it in" approach to production to turn what should be a "mistake" into a neat gimmick that works for the songs rather than against them (Elvis Presley's signature singing style would sometimes pick up a bit of a quivering or stuttering approach that actually came from Elvis being nervous in front of crowds and strangers - we love Elvis for it, but AI and modern production "perfection" in its current state would never be likely to stumble onto THAT by mistake!)
Until AI can be taught to "break" the rules in a way that works, AI is just going to make bland novelty pastiches of the safest pop songs that Payola has ever managed to bribe onto the airwaves to sell ice cubes to indiscriminate Eskimos in whatever today's kids hang out at instead of shopping mall music stores....
I'm pretty sure the 'There I Ruined It' account isn't AI.
It's a hybrid. The guy sings in the style of whoever is supposed to be singing the track, then uses AI to overlay the voice of the singer onto his vocal track.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SWEET BABY GANG?
They all sound like my Atari glitching.
Matt Walsh has an unbelievably underrated editing crew. Keep up the great work.
