- One year ago I met an amazing group of ladies at a pack clinic in Montana. We have kept in touch and this summer planned a backcountry pack trip so we could all get together and go enjoy the mountains. Join us as we take our horses, mules and dogs up into the highcountry to a beautiful lake and enjoy a backcountry camp for a couple of days! If you like this video don't forget to subscribe so you can see our next adventures!
As always thank you for watching!
God Bless!

First please pin I’ve been waiting for this video
Haha 😂 will do! ☺️👍🏼
Great trip. Love the pace of the story. Props to the videographer photographer story telling gritty chick!
Thank you!! My darn microphone malfunctioned and a lot of the audio wasn’t captured. So this was my creative way of salvaging the film 😅
The cinematography is just perfect.
Thank you so much! ☺️
You can’t go wrong with mermaids in the lake and bacon in skillet..
No you can’t 😂😂👍🏼
Wow this looked so peaceful. How fabulous to watch this. Tracey (Australia)
Thank you Tracey! I’m so glad you enjoyed it and we appreciate you watching and commenting ☺️

Natural sound is the best thing you can hear. Brazilian following your channel. 🇧🇷
Thank you for following along ☺️ and I agree, just listening to the natural sounds is something every human needs to experience!
Looks like a wonderful girls time on a beautiful ride. Glad your trip was relaxing and safe.
Thank you!! Us too! And no grizzlies ☺️👍🏼
If only I was in good health. That looks heavenly!
❤️❤️
Every bit of this is pure beauty!! Not a week ago I'd run across a video that was very similar film/plotwise (if you will), but was far more racy than gritty which is not exactly my thing, and I'd clicked away, so this popping up was twice as fun! Thank you so much for sharing your adventure/good times!
Thank you so much for watching!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it 😌
What an amazing trip. Thanks for taking us along!❤
Thanks for watching!! ☺️
Great video...GOD BLESS
Thank you!
I would love to do something like that, your so lucky.
It was a blast! I wish we all weren’t so busy, it would be fun to get together more often ☺️❤️
Beautiful video!!!!! Strong and beautiful ladies with amazing animals.
Thank you so much 😌❤️❤️
Holy smokes, short overnighters like that fuel the fire for more!! Nice you have a group of ladies to share the adventures and experiences with. Thank you for sharing it with us 😊 hope to see more!
They definitely do! Hopefully next year we can go on a longer one ☺️ thanks for watching!
Gorgeous Clyde did wonderful looks super good girl time a must
Thank you! 😊 it is!!
Great video in beautiful country and getting to spend time with friends. I was surprised to see someone I know in the video. I live in the same town as Elisabeth and worked with her. Very nice lady. Thanks for all the videos that are full of humor, nature, and everyday life in God's country👍🏻
Haha too funny! Such a small world! You live in some beautiful country over there!
She is a fantastic lady! So glad we ended up meeting ☺️
Thanks for watching!!
Great time...very enjoyable filming and quality video.
Thank you!! 😊
Good stuff! 😊
Thanks!
Very neat trip and very pretty country. I bet Clyde gained 20 pounds on that high mountain feed! How did he do? Please let the owner of that Appy know he’s very pretty.
Thank you!! Haha and thanks for the Clyde compliments! ☺️ he did overall very good! He had a few moments that he got worried about the horses behind us on the trail, I’m not exactly sure why. But for being away from his herd with all new equines in unfamiliar territory I am pretty proud of how he handled it ☺️
@@MTN_BUILT I'm glad he did well. It is a credit to his owner!
Epic adventure but WAY too short!!
Yes it was much too short I agree! Next time we will be up there longer! When the kiddos are older!
I’m so envious!
❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful
Thank you! That was such a great trip! 😊
Amazing video loved it
Awesome! I’m so glad you enjoyed it 😊 Thank you for watching and taking time to leave a nice comment!
Sweet!! Saw your trip in insta and had my fingers crossed there would be a video to go with it.
Awesome! My microphone malfunctioned up there so it took me a little longer to figure out the edit for this one ☺️ thanks for watching!
❤❤❤❤
😌❤️
Always fun to do this stuff. I like your video but I have seen better. Would be nice to show the ladies and introduce them at the beginning as well as more camp shots of more cooking, campfire smoke, relaxing etc. We need to feel the fun of camping. A little too much just trail riding scenes. Thanks for sharing.
That’s super good input! Thank you for watching and taking time to leave a helpful comment- we appreciate it. 😊
Alyssa got home from the trip and found out that our microphone wasn’t working correctly, and she lost a lot of footage from our primary camera (including pretty much all her interviews). She decided to put this together to have the memory of the trip anyway though. 😊 Most of it is just from her phone and action cameras.
I'm sold!! Such beautiful camera work, and good storytelling!
Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching! That’s my friends dog, she actually just showed up at their house mid winter and no one ended up claiming her. She’s an awesome girl! They think she is part Swiss Shepard and maybe some golden retriever? No one is exactly sure. She’s a sweetie though!
I used to Live in Montana such a fun place
It’s a neat place for sure ☺️
Good girls trip
It was 😌😌
Well that was real nice looked like a lot of fun I wasn't sure how many of you there were it looked like 4 and did you all carry sidearms the food looked good you guys have to do another trip thanks kray
There were 6 of us girls total ☺️ 2 dogs, 2 mules and 7 horses! Yes we did, there are grizzlies up there. We didn’t encounter any though. The stock is loud and so that usually keeps them away ☺️👍🏼
Heaven
Yes!! 💯🙌🏼😊
Hello! Beautiful video and views! I’m really curious about why some horses/mules have straps between their legs, what’s the purpose behind that? 😊 (I’m from Sweden so i have never seen that before!) (Your video came randomly up on my feed) 😊 Montana is on my bucket list to visit! 😊
Hello!! Thank you so much! These are called hobbles and it helps to keep the horses and mules from wandering too far when they are loose grazing. We put them on the herd leaders and on those that haven’t been with this herd before so they don’t leave back down the trail and end up getting lost or hurt. ☺️
@@MTN_BUILT that’s so interesting! Thank you for answering my question 🤗
You’re welcome ☺️
I want to go too😂.
It was such a great trip!! 😊🙌🏼
Beautiful country to bad you only had 1 day. I'm curious when you were fixing your faitas what was the birds in the background they sure sounded close and noisey
Thank you so much! It was, hopefully next time it will be longer! I am guessing your talking about sand hill cranes ☺️
we love daisy
we love daisy
we love daisy
😂🙌🏼
Those back ground bird calls sounded like sandhill cranes in the 1st evening ? Were they?
Yep! ☺️
May I ask what those little things are on the horses and mules ankle? Just curious
Yeah ☺️ they are hobbles.
What camera are you using? The quality is fantastic!
Thank you so much! The main camera is a Sony A7IV with a sigma 24-70mm lens 2.8
But while riding I am using a DJI osmo action camera. ☺️ thanks for watching!
Wisch i can be your friend ❤
You can be my TH-cam friend 😂☺️❤️
