As an Englishman who rode the 7,500 mile extended Trans America Trail through 23 states off-road on a dual sport motorcycle in 2015, I never stop remembering how wonderful the American outback is. Seeing these beautiful ladies on their lovely adventure on horseback brings it all back. I just love their practical approach to everything and in particular, that they all pack pistols with such style! I need to marry a girl like this and move toAmerica because they prove the real America still exists no matter what political craziness happens to be going on there and worldwide.
@@robthomas3968 thank did barrel racing for years and won a room full of Awards... Now it's on to the next chapter of my life 28. And building a ford f 100 truck I've been on it 3 years and finely done its all new even paint it looks just as good as the day it rolled of the show room floor it's 43 yours old and it look brand new.... It's the same truck as John Travolta had in the movie urban cowboy! It's singed by him and micky guilly and Johnny Lee and Debra winger as well... They have all take pictures inside of the truck since its been built.... Since micky guilly is long gone it's a peace of history and we'll loved by all the cast who's looked at it... It's always a big hit at every car show a round.... It won 1st place out of 32 students voted for the same truck and that has never happened at a show before. Everyone always says I made history for a girl
A bunch of us women from Utah did this for about 25 years! We would go all over Utah Colorado Wyoming in Idaho and pack in to some really wild country! We called ourselves the wild bunch ! We're all getting a few years on us now and it's a little harder to ride as hard as we used to! We still go a little here and there, But it sure good to see you girls continuing the tradition!

I'm getting older now, and no longer have a horse....But, DANG...I would jump at the chance to do it anyway! I can picture it....me and a few of my 65 year old friends! LOL. Greetings from the mountains of south central BC, thanks for the video. We had horses for years so I appreciated the care taken in loading your mounts as well as how they were rigged out. Kudos on the food handling in the back country for sure. I am envious of the small noisemakers a few were carrying, good to see that too. Overall it does this old guy's heart good to see the traditions being carried on by the next shift. Stay well.

It is go do to see a bunch of friends out enjoying nature. Although it would be nice to see the horses also running free doing what they want. The best time I have with the horses is running or cycling along side them. Dancing in the meadows with them. Hiking in the hills and watching the horse appear on the horizon and come careering down to greet you after a long hike and settle down with you by the fire that the real way to experience horses.

My twin brother and I were fly fishing guides many years ago at Brooks Lake Lodge. It was awesome. The wrangler girls who worked there once convinced me to go to one of the small lakes with them and it was beautiful but that horse was soooo wide, it hurt my knees. I would never be a good cowboy. BTW, I am glad see you armed. There are a lot of bears up there.
Brooks lake. Did u know Peri kaufman from Riverton. Mom and him spent time packing in on horseback back 2009-2011. I got pics of them fishin there too..
@Peaceman67 No. I was out of there by 2000. My twin went round two in 2001 if i remember right. The old Brooks Lake lodge brochure had a picture of him casting. Dubois was a cool little town. I really enjoyed fishing Warm Springs Creek and hiking to the natural bridge as the locals called it. It had that cool old flume suspended in it that the Tie Hacks made. About the only people I remember well from Dubois are Stone Baker and his Brother Monte. Great people. The head wrangler that was at the lodge when I was there was named Guy and was a talented roper.
I have did so many things in my life in different countries, but nothing will ever compare to guiding hunters for 5 years in Montana and Wyoming and the best part was not the hunts, but to go off the trails, up through the aspens and pines on horseback and to ride where most people had never stepped on. Just had to watch that sometimes the horse would try to catch your leg against a tree sometimes. It was always a big laugh to see the men that would come and tell how good they could handle a horse, but when their horse would come to a small stream of water, the horse would stop for just a second and then leap across a 5 foot wide stream and off that great rider would go 90% of the time. I still laugh at those memories 25 years later. LOL.
A few yrs back I would have loved to have tried this,but now I'm a little too old& those accumulative Injuries& wear& tear are starting rear their head..But I would like to visit Montana or Wyoming if only for a quite break& just take in the scenary..And as u said,that's a different type of Riding&Horsemanship!.Very rugged!
Awesome ladies indeed. I used to do this with my brothers on a 3'400ha cattle ranch in Zambia, Africa. I have no more horses but I want to buy some soon. We don't really have such wild country girls here. Keep it up girls, much love and support from Zambia

Contrary to what many people see& hear and think they understand,the other side of the Atlantic,it's no coincidence that so many Irish live here..Ireland is amazing,with fantastic beauty& scenery..But u have a massive country here,with plenty to see! Good&,some not so nice,but plenty of options available. .

Quick trick for water. Get a cannonball bag or any collapsible bag , fill it with water and hang it up in a tree. Rest your pump up there and get it started and put a clean collection bottle below the water bag. Once started gravity will do the rest so you don't have to squat and pump. It will be a continuous supply of clean water. Makes camp so much easier. Great images and beautiful horses.

I did a solo trip with my horse to Monument Valley, but along the way did not rough it. I stayed in places with corrals. I'm a city man, But my respect for this 6 brave woman , riding thru the tough beautiful country side, And I can see they took their precautions, I see them carrying guns in hosters which is a good defense against all types of predators Human or Animal, They just look great in their cowgirls. outfit
