You give a gentle reaction and then you go rogue with your "bug off" ... "and this is just him on the guitar". Chris sustaining those trills/runs is to rip our hearts out. "Holy Heck" is right on...
If you look they're a lot of hidden gems like this scattered around from Chris's younger days. I will suggest Chris Stapleton "Fool Me Again" which is from a Song Writer's Conference on a Cruise Ship I believe. Heads up, it's definitely country.
🎸💯 I've got the only album by the Jompson Brothers when Chris was their front man. "Barely Alive" is one of the cuts; but, I REALLY love this live performance‼🤯🔥
Background info: Chris is on a singer/songwriter cruise. These are music industry peers that he made absolutely speechless. Once he starts singing, all talking, carrying on comes to an abrupt halt.
Early recordings of Chris sometimes were not technically great but the power comes through, even on a cell phone recording. Chris on stage by himself with only his old beatup guitar really show his power and presence as a performer.
loved your comment. Other songs: Sometimes I Cry - I Was Wrong - Death Row - Its a Man's World (cover) - Higher - North Dakota - Cold - Either Way - and there are so many more songs out there (past and present) by Chris that you may not have heard (live versions best). He is amazing!

Sandy Beaches Cruise 12. "Ain't No Way This Love Is Wrong" from that same cruise is hot.

Oh YEAH!!!
Check out "If It Hadn't Been For Love" (live version at Sundance), another great song from Chris, from his other band called "The Steeldrivers"

Nothing recorded compares to his live versions period!
Although I love Chris Stapleton to his bones , I also love your red green poster ! Best show ever
This is Live at The Bing Lounge - a gathering place for singer/songwriters to entertain each other in Nashville.

“Be quiet Chris is singin!”
Oh don’t worry they will be silent soon enough 😂
I don't think most of these folks have followed Chris as long as I have and he's got great shit with the steeldrivers too
I love the change from disrespect to reverence.
