This is "Son Jarocho", originated in the southern coastal region. He's mexican in a way, it's wonderful he acknowledges Mexico's beautiful music. The songs called "la Caña"/sugarcane...the lyrics: I'm like the sugarcan,sweet and brave, which grows in its inmensity, they burn me but I don't die, sc which sweetens life, for pain and justice,brother you've gotten lost in the sc plains and so on. He should make a mexican music album (or at least distribute it on the net), that would be cool.
