I went through some religious searching. Grew up in the ecangelical world, learned history, became Eastern Orthodox. Orthodox Christianity is ancient, has a set calendar, no crazyness in the services, predictable. The priest is more than a pastor, its like having a second "daddy" to some degree but in a good way, not creepy, if I expressed it wrong.

I understand. I have felt that way towards some of the bishops i've had.
