    Gosh, Jesùs -- I ALWAYS learn something from your tutorials, even when I think that I already know the technique. This time, I appreciated learning how to render the glass more transparent, while simultaneously preserving the specular highlights. THANK you ... once again!

    Hi Jesus! Your videos have been so helpful for me and are my favorite as I'm learning photoshop. Your teaching method is very clear and easy to understand. I love this tutorial, but I'm looking for a way to "shatter" the actual photo as opposed to laying broken glass over the top. Is that possible and if so do you have or know of a tutorial video for that? I found one, but it has no talking, and I don't learn well just watching them click buttons not knowing what they are doing. Thanks so much for all you do!

    I converted my house into a smart object (along with all the contents) so when my daughter, wife or dogs move something of mine or we want to change the colors... POOF!!! I can make the change and EVERYTHING updates!! Thanks Jesus!!

    It's funny I was searching for a way to have references in photoshop to avoid duplicated layers, but didn't realize that smart objects by default are references :)

    I had an issue when I got to the part where he made the glass a solid color. I had that layer selected, clicked the solid color tool and then my entire image turned green, not just the piece of glass? I don't know what I'm doing wrong?

    • @sarinaduvall07
      @sarinaduvall07 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It turns out that I forgot to add the glass layer to the group "piece 01". However when I do that, the glass layer falls somewhat behind the image. It's partially in front of some parts of the image and partially behind some parts of the image? Like sandwiched in the image(smart object), if that makes sense?

  • @jreeves6559
    @jreeves6559 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    This did not work for me. It seems when he did the first level adjustment layer on the broken glass it automatically made it a smart object. It did not do that for me. When it was time to move it into the group to make the reflection it still only had the glass not the model. When I tried to turn it into a smart object it also did not work. Working in PS 2019.

      Because a tutorial is there to show you how things are done and not to give you the materials.
