Photoshop a Realistic Glass Effect in 2 Minutes

- This tutorial will demonstrate how to create a glass effect using two blending options in Photoshop.
This glass effect can be added to anything layer or text object in Photoshop, and can also be saved as a layer style preset, or the effect can be copied and pasted on to other layers quickly and easily. The two blending options we will focus on are; Bevel & Emboss, and Inner Glow. These two settings have a variety of options that enable you to fully customise your glass effect, and this technique in particular works well with any image or specific suite of colours that are underneath.

Good
bro thanks
You’re welcome 🙏
Great video. Is there a way to change the glass to like a colored glass, like blue?
Yes! Check the 'Color Overlay' tab, pick a colour and try out the blending modes to see which one looks best :)
@@ForeverDansky Awesome, thanks for replying! I will give that a try
Sir make a video for illustrator about tools
You can create visiting card in glass model 🤗
what was the point of starting with the dark grey layer instead of having the gradient there from the get go? was that just to reveal the effect at the end of the video?
The glass effect shows up better on a darker colour and the gradient layer at the end was to demonstrate how the effect looks on something other than black, that is a bit more colourful.
Thank you for not telling us your life story before getting to the tutorial bit! 😁
Haha you’re welcome Dominic! 😋
