Minute 2:27: why didn't you use the command "place > rasterize" instead of "open new > select all > copy > close > change tab > paste"?
Moreover, at minute 3:25: it's not working. The "create clippink mask" option is greyed out when I make a group out of the text layer.
Is there another "working" workaround?
P.S.: I've found a workaround: due to the fact that I'm using an older version of Photoshop the "create clipping mask" over a layer group of text is not working. I tried to convert the text with the effects applied into a "smart object" and the clipping mask worked!
