Genius idea putting the flower inlay in the center!! So unique and better than glitter or swirls!!!!! Love the shape of the tray also. Looking forward to the next one!!💜
For Round 2, I would put resin on the inlay before putting it in the center of the resin. Then, put your inks down. I really like the colors. Looking forward to seeing your next one.
Nature is definitely giving us some issues at the moment, I pray that everyone stays safe and out of harms way. I do like the colors that you chose, and I have made the mistake of spraying alcohol into my bloom before as well, so definitely do your inlay without using any alcohol at all. I can't wait to see the 2nd one. Thanks for sharing Darling -Beverly
Even though the alcohol messed with the colors, it still came out really pretty. I like the blue background, love the flower in the middle! When you put the flower in the middle put resin on it instead of alcohol to stop bubbles from forming.
Definitely do it again!! Did you hear me talking to you as you were making this?? Lol I think I talked to you the whole time. 😂 Turn this one into a clock. I love the colors a lot. Any time you're putting something in the center of a bloom, it will affect the way the bloom and colors pull in so putting your inlay first and then not messing with it is a good idea. Can't wait for round 2!
Hi! I love your channel! My suggestion would be to use a lighter color for the flower, and to back it in black. I think everything else worked out beautifully. Keep it up! ❤
I'm in north Alabama and get got snow. Kids didn't have school and they closed our roads. I hope everyone is safe and warm. I like the tray. Love the colors. I'm with you I would choose a different back color. Still like it though. Ow and be more careful spraying the alcohol next time lol
@Tammy-ml5pt I sure hope your didn't get as much as we did. We are still still digging out a week later. They said it's been 63 years since my town has seen this much snow. I wasn't even born then🤣🤣
It looks very psychedelic. I like colors and think if you do it that way you were taking about it would turn out even more beautiful. It still looks cool
Here in Arlington, TX we mainly had sleet but both Fort Worth & Dallas got snow. Arlington is between the 2 cities and we missed out on the snow. I was so disappointed cuz I wanted to see the 3-6” of snow so bad!!
I have a cousin in California. We are hoping he is good cause we cannot get ahold of him. We should keep mixed media girl in our thoughts and prayers. She is in the middle of it too. Anyway the bloom isn't terrible. Pretty colors.
I think it looks beautiful with the blue. But using the heating mat when you do the bloom will disort the bloom because you heated the resin to a certain degree to get thicker and when you put it on the heat mat thins the resin down Im saying I learnt the hard way those colours are beautiful.
Would it work better if you put the powder on the inlay before putting it into the clear resin? Then put your alcohol inks in so there's no danger of alcohol messing up the colors.
That's a good point Sandy, I don't know. My only worry would be is if the powder bleeds over into the clear resin, how and if that would effect the bloom. But thank you, I'll have to experiment.
I thought i heard it was arson. I'm in California , but clear up at the other end of the state. Mixed media girl has been evacuated. Every single thing around her house burned down, but her house is intact!

I'm in South West Georgia,so we got cold and rain. I hope that all of you in the path of this storm stay safe and warm.
So am I. Small world.
I think it's beautiful! I love the colors together. I think the blue on the back was a good choice.

@JrBurriss thank you Jr, I love the blue, it just wasn't a good choice for this one, all my blue inks blended in.
Mary, I really like the colours, I don't think black would be better 😊
Thank you Loula🥰
I live in Orange County, CA. We are nowhere near the fires, but we have friends with relatives in fire areas. Some have lost their home.
@minxey5813 awe, Minxey I am so sorry. This is just so tragic, and to find it was all deliberate makes it even worse. I will be praying for them.🩵🙏😔
I think it still looks pretty, even with the blue backing ❤
Thank you🥰
I love the colours you used. I love your experiments. I think your ideas for experiment #2 will be amazing.

Looks good. I can't wait to see the next one.

Beautiful. I’m in central Texas we didn’t get anything but cold. Tim is 5 hours south of me so I doubt he got anything.
I’ve got to get that inlay! ❤
I make them myself Yvonne🥰

I can't hear them but maybe Mylo can. That's why he is barking😂🥰

Fires started by arson
Reading the comments I think you’re being a bit hard on yourself.
