I like the straight handles. The bloom is so busy now and then add wavy handles on top is a bit much. Time to think Valentines day so pinks, reds and maybe a green. You said in last video to make the white thicker, think it a good idea to maybe help the bloom.
I would love to see a beachy, ocean tray. Once I start pouring my goal will be making ocean stuff themed for my house. We’re getting ready to redo my kitchen this year and I’m planning on replacing my horrid ceramic tile counters with quartz so I want to make hot plates to set hot stuff on, I don’t even know if that is possible with resin. Lots of research to do. I just got interested in resin again recently so I have lots of videos to go through. Seeing your handles just made me think about making custom handles for the kitchen, hopefully you have videos, gonna start looking now.
Hot plates will definitely need to be made with a high heat resistant resin so it doesn't melt. Standard resin can withstand about 160 degrees. So make sure to find a good resin for that. I have a couple ocean theme projects, not as many as I would like, I love ocean projects. 🥰
Thank you Jane. It does, but it's ok because I don't want it in the center, I was afraid at first it was going to merge right over it, but it didn't. Yay!!
Generally I would put them in the top coat of Resin. That's how I attach all of my handles. But you can drill a hole as well, but I don't like doing that. 🥰
@@resinmeup I’m just wondering if hot or super glue would work. I have no idea 😂, I was not successful with my TWO big tray blooms. In fact I’m not really successful with blooms. It’s getting the white down, my hands don’t close around the little pastry bags (arthritis). I pour too much with little cups. I’m still practicing though because I love blooms.
@leilalineberger995 hot glue definitely will not work it's not stable enough to hold them permanently. Super glue would work. I have poured from the cups but end up pouring to much unless I really pinch the cup, but find the piping bag is just better. Maybe try and cut a bigger end on yours so you don't have to squeeze so much with your arthritis. If you have some old paint laying around, you could practice with that on paper to get the right cut for your flow and hands maybe.
I’ve found it hard to get something that pretty with that size mold. The bigger ones don’t really want to “bloom out” all the way for me either. Yours is lovely 😊 the flower in the middle gives it so much depth and the colors kind of make it trippy! I love it😊
Very Pretty. But can you tell me where you got that flower inlay mold. I didn’t see it listed in your information. Unless it was in the video and I missed it please and thank you.
I love the tray as is. I don't think it needs handles, but if you were to add some, I would go for the clear ones painted a different color. For the next one, I think a large square tray would be good with any of set D inlays.
Hi Mary! Nice tray, but sad that the inks didn't bloom much! I like the purple handles. I don't think the fuchsia goes with the purple center. I agree that the flowers and crystal knobs look too big for this tray. (Although I love ❤️ the crystal knobs!) I don't mean to be negative, I think it's bc my coffeemaker broke and the one I just bought isn't working either! 😢
I would definitely use the longer purpley handles as they match the centre and its absolutely an awesome bloom, love the colours you used 💜💜💜💜💜💜oh and C lol
I know the Decorom alcohol inks are less intensely pigmented than the Let's Resin ones (the only 2 kinds I've got). If I'm using a thick resin, and I need a good spread for my inks (especially with bigger pours), I always go with the Decorom. If I'm doing petri effects, I use the LR alcohol inks, instead; especially for tiny things like jewelry. Also, if you want a better bloom, your lines absolutely *must* be thicker. Try a 3 to 4mm opening on your piping bag tip, and the lines not too close together. Agree with you on not being a big fan of the Fast Cure resins! Most just don't allow for great blooms. Clear, straight handles with a bit of sparkle might be really nice!
I’d use the purple handles. It kind of shimmers black and it looks really pretty with it. But please leave the diamond clear ones at the end- please leave clear. They kind of look like dandelion puffs and they are so pretty. Please lol
I say do the handles that you have made already with the purple on them and add a top coat to them. I think the roses and the glass knobs are too big. For the 3rd bloom, I say do another flower inlay and the colors should be pinks, reds, whites for Valentines day, then back it in a pretty glitter. -Beverly
So pretty! Personally I think the simple straight handles in clear with maybe just a hint of crushed crystal would look nice. The patterns and colors are so pretty that you wouldn’t want to take away from the overall design. I love the set B inlays best. Purple and teal blue might look pretty.
@ARTOBSESSIONOZ I've used those inks so many times, they are cheap and really don't have much alcohol content in them so I knew I was safe. I would never do that with my good inks though. I'm sorry didn't mean to scare you my dear.
Wow it turned out beautiful...the flower handles will look amazing in the color of inlay...or maybe plain with bit if glitter or something in the color if inlay😊
I love the bling door knob type with the back even more blinged out on them. You know how I love bling! I love that tray so very much. In the next tray I would love to see something bright with maybe purples. You know happy colours! I like the D inlays. I also love it when you do themed things like you did for Halloween and Christmas.
I'm bummed that the white didn't bloom everywhere for you ... I think the resin was just too thick for anything to move. 😕 Black for the background is definitely better 😊
@BlackSheepCrafter i agree it took 6 min in my vacuum chamber to get it clear. It was the consistency of honey that had been in the fridge. Way to thick. I will do it again. You know me...lol
So after I drop the ink you put a drop of dish soap right on top of the ink? I assume the soap doesn't matter what brand? And then you contine with the white?
I like the black handles for this tray. It is beautiful! Another tray with pastel colors for Easter. No decal insert try a cluster of chunky glass and glitter.
Hey Darling, the ink didn't spread because you used alcohol, you cannot even spray the clear resin with alcohol it does not dissipate completely from the resin and prevents the inks from moving. I have done it several times mistakenly and then you used alcohol on your silicone tool when creating the blooms, use wipes instead. No alcohol at all Darling. Love the colors, and it would be a pretty bowl. Thanks for sharing -Beverly
@KustomKre8ted4UByU that's odd, I use alcohol with all my blooms always have. The inks are alcohol inks as well. The only thing I did different was used a 4 hour fast cure and it was thick. I generally only have to leave my resin in the vacuum chamber for like two minutes, this resin took 6 minutes to completely debubble. It was the consistency of honey that has been in the fridge. But thank you though for the feedback I really appreciate it.
Let the water evaporate from the moulds after using wipes too as resin and water do not mix and baby wipes contain water... pesky addictive resin creating issues left right and center 🤔🙄😁
@resinmeup that's weird with that resin. But I do know your blooms look exactly the same as mine did when I sprayed my resin with alcohol. I was using 4 hour fast cure by Let's Resin and Janchun, I did it more than once🤣🤣
Purple handles are perfect
Thank you🥰
Beautiful Tray Mary and that Inlay in the middle looks fab. I like the idea of the straight clear handles 💙
Thank you Sally🥰
Hi Mary great results the ones to go with the center are perfect 🥰 thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
Thank you Michelle🥰
I’d go with the wavy handles as the rose ones takes away from the center flower. Beautiful tray
Thank you Laura🥰
Yes the purple handles match really well. Great tray it looks 3-D
Thank you Judy🥰
I love this piece
Thank you Sherry 🥰
Lovely bloom tray, Mary 😊
Thank you Edith🥰
like the wispy look, Thank You for sharing.
You're welcome Josie, I am so glad you liked it🥰

Thank you Dana, always appreciate the feedback 🥰
Clear transparent handles in short straight shape.
For future product do another flower in yellow, purple and greens.
Thank you Patti, I love those ideas!🥰
Purple flower handles to match the inlay. So pretty
Thank you Kathi🥰

Mary I love the clear doorknob look. B
Love your bloom. If you want my opinion I'd make new ones the same color as the inlay. ❤
Thank you 🥰
small straight clear or black so you don't take away from the design. Beautiful
Thank you Susan🥰
I like the idea of straight clear handles with maybe a little glitter/ crystal. Then the bloom stays the focus. Pretty colors.
Thank you Lyn. Great advice.🥰
Think it turned out so pretty ❤❤
Thank you Katrin🥰
Its a tie-dye dream! I love it. I wonder if the insert keeps the ink and resin from flowing in and out like it does. Don't matter, I think its pretty.
Thank you Jane. It does, but it's ok because I don't want it in the center, I was afraid at first it was going to merge right over it, but it didn't. Yay!!
I am intrigued with using the floral mobs as handles. How would you attach
Generally I would put them in the top coat of Resin. That's how I attach all of my handles. But you can drill a hole as well, but I don't like doing that. 🥰

@ I definitely have, not to old 😁, paint, that’s a great suggestion. It sounds like it would really help get the hang of it. Thanks so much.

Thank you Ashley. It's tricky but your resin temperature plays a big part in it. I tend to let my resin get a bit warmer with my bigger blooms 34-35C
Nice!. But didn't see you remove the inlays. At what point did you remove it. I admire your work😊
Thank you Corina. Right before I poured the background.
Very Pretty. But can you tell me where you got that flower inlay mold. I didn’t see it listed in your information. Unless it was in the video and I missed it please and thank you.
Thank you. I make the inlays myself.
you could get handle moulds nd then you can do them the colours to match
I actually have handle molds, great idea.
I love the tray as is. I don't think it needs handles, but if you were to add some, I would go for the clear ones painted a different color. For the next one, I think a large square tray would be good with any of set D inlays.

Thank you Laura🥰

I'm sorry your coffee maker isn't working. I would be cranky to.☕️
I like that
Thank you carol🥰
Super cool! I've been inspired to have a go myself ....but a little one 😆
Awesome, can't wait to see it🥰
I would use either the purple handles or make smaller ones. I don't think the roses or knobs would look good they are too big. In my opinion.
Thank you Gena. Always appreciate the feedback 🥰
colors- from middle out, purple, red, orange, yellow🥰
Those would be pretty🥰
I would definitely use the longer purpley handles as they match the centre and its absolutely an awesome bloom, love the colours you used 💜💜💜💜💜💜oh and C lol
Thank you Gert🥰
I love the look. Not as psychedelic as the last one but very pretty. I think either the purple handles or clear. But either will be beautiful.
Thank you Marva🥰

Welcome Sherry.🥰
Clear crystal rose on left side and zigzag clear on right side
That would be interesting. 🥰

@KustomKre8ted4UByU oooooh I love that idea....noted.
Did you take the invite out
Invite??
@@resinmeupI think it was supposed to say inlay
@@Lwah0812 oh ok. I was wondering. Thank you.
Very Nice Mary The purple flower is my favorite.💜💜💜
Thank you Flora🥰

Thank you Tammy🥰
Viewing from the caribbean your bloom came out lovely mary well done
Thank you Josette 🥰
Even though it's not perfect, it's still pretty. I like it
Thank you Tammy🥰
Not a bad bloom at all.
Thank you Tim.
It turned out very nice and pretty ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Sandra🥰
I don’t think the door knob is right. I would go with the thin ones in black. That way they wouldn’t take away from the center flower.
Thank you Molly, appreciate the feedback🥰
Omgosh I nearly passed out when you lit your touch after putting the alcohol in in 😮lol
@ARTOBSESSIONOZ I've used those inks so many times, they are cheap and really don't have much alcohol content in them so I knew I was safe. I would never do that with my good inks though. I'm sorry didn't mean to scare you my dear.

Wow, the crackling sound of clinkling plastic is super close to the mic. Put the sound of a heatgun to shame!
Sorry. The mic is on my shirt, but it picks up anything so can't really avoid it.
C;ear straight handles with purple glitter💜💜💜
not the roses, its too busy
