I love the butterfly. I still have the two I won. They are in our living and we show them off to company. Only things I have ever won on the internet. 😊
That came out beautiful. I love the addition of the black mica powder instead of just filling in with black resin. Beautiful result and I will have to remember that. I have the Beta Fish wall hanging like that butterfly and something else, all similiar in size and purpose. Greaet video
Beautiful piece of work. I would purchase the mold if it were a bit deeper. I prefer a layer of clear resin between the mica powders and the final layer of black resin, as I think it gives the finished product more depth. However, that is a personal preference, and isn't shared by everyone. I am very new to resin crafting and have so much to learn before I catch up to anyone. I sincerely appreciate all the excellent resin artist and crafters that so generously share their hard-earned knowledge.
Yes that method can give a different effect. I did this one the way I did to get the antique effect though and as these powders, other than the green dots, are opaque, it wouldn’t make much difference really 😀
wow that butterfly is beautiful, I definitely have these powders on my list. You really need to get a make up brush cleaner from Temu, it's like a round compact with a scrubby bit inside that you rub your brush against, it's great and cleans all the colour off so you can use it again for another colour. There's one on just now for only 79p. The nail art brush sets are great too for getting into all the grooves in the mould, really cheap too at only 57p for 15 different sizes x
thanks for the tip - I will get one, though my current methods work ok especially for the blending where you specifically don't want to over clean your brush .I do have over 1200 nail art brushes and could have changed brush as nail art has been my thing for years :)
U can use alcohol to help clean up the powder you want to remove it would be a lot easier you can also use alcohol to apply the colors with less cleanup you should try it it works really well
I just love watching people 'paint' moulds with mica esp those tiny turner pigments 😮❤❤❤
me too and they are amazing
I love the butterfly. I still have the two I won. They are in our living and we show them off to company. Only things I have ever won on the internet. 😊

Hi- FYI, Temu has a brush cleaner called "Scrub Sponge Box Black" for $1.07, if you prefer not to clean your brushes off on your silicone mat. 😊
Yes I have one - just no idea where it is lol
I use a piece of clean aquarium foam to clean my brushes it works a treat.
Great tip thanks

You can mix a little alcohol into the mica powder so it doesn't fly elsewhere in the mold.
Yes I demo that in other videos but this video was about dry blending :)
It's beautiful
thanks :) I hope it answers my subscriber questions too
Wow!!! Just stunning!!
Thank you so much!
beautiful
Thank you! 😊

It is now being a decorative wall plaque at my mum's house :)

Yes that can work well :)
🥰

Thank you 🙏 it’s beautiful 🦋 I try to see the link for the butterfly mould but can’t - please help 😊
Check now, I just added it to the description. Thanks for letting me know, I had missed it off
@@miniscenesgb Thank you very much 🦋
Floria or Florian sound like old anciet names
Floria? I don't recall all the names but I don't recall that one :) Wicca and some of the other names definitely are though
NEVER EVER OPEN a jar of pigment powder or ink or dye OVER THE MOLD. Ask me how I know this.
Yes. I’m trying to keep in camera shot or I wouldn’t :)
So Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
