- In this video we venture out of the non-touristy area which we are staying in Muscat, Oman to visit the corniche and the Mutrah Souk (local market) where we see the true beauty of the city of Muscat and indeed the country of Oman, we were however shocked how expensive it was there!
We also tried a local coconut drink, climbed the Mutrah Fort and visited the back alleys as well as rode a taxi with the local company called OTAXI.
This was a completely different experience to the experience we had in the area we were staying in outside the tourist district and we are glad we came as this was an eye-opening experience.
So join us in this video where we walk thorugh the bustling market, bask in the scortching hot desert heat and meet locals so friendly that no other nation can complete with the kindness and genorousity shown to us!

Nice video! Oman is amazing - The view from the fort looks beautiful. My jaw dropped at the price of that hat though hahah
Welcome to my country brother
Man I’m so sorry that you guys had to deal with Muttrah Souk sellers. An Omani cap or kuma that’s made by machine instead of the ones made by hand should only cost you 1 to 5 rials and for me 5 rials is toooooooo much. I’m an expat that’s lived here for 14 years and would love to help you guys out, even if it’s just with more information, if you ever make it this way again and I hope you do. I’m glad you enjoyed Oman. Ahlan wa Sahlan. ❤
You missed out on an incredible opportunity by not uploading your videos on Instagram and asking local Omani people for their top recommendations on the best halwa shops or any advice. They would have been delighted to show you around the city and take you to the markets where you can find unbeatable deals. Trust me, Omani culture and hospitality are unparalleled, and the locals are always eager to treat visitors with the utmost respect and kindness. I live outside of Muscat, in the Albatina region north of Oman, "alswaiq " and I would have been more than happy to show you around personally.

musk cat in o man wahahahaha..😂😂😂😂omen.what the heck😂
Shut up
Oman more expensive than albania man
In general
Before 2022 2 beedroom in Tirana in nice area was 300-400 dollar
Now is 600 dollar
3 beedroom before 300-400
Now 600-700
Raises happend because 7 milion turists visited albania in 2022 and 10 milion 2023
We are going to Albania soon and can't wait to visit, I like to learn the language of every place I visit and I have a feeling Albanian will be the most difficult language for me yet haha! 🙂
