As a Malaysian I must agree on the medical point. We have the public medical center and private medical center. Most Malaysian will go to public medical center because of how cheap it is. I have diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol and I only have to pay 1 MYR which is 0.19 Euro for medical checkup, medications and appointment per visit. I am very grateful for my country's healthcare. 😊

I’m Canadian and I took my shahada when I was 17 alhamdulilah. I am 21 now and I’ve really wanted to make hijrah since I became Muslim 🫶🏻💕May Allah make it easy for us all ameen. Last semester I studied in the UAE and I visited Oman. It was sooo beautiful Allahuma baarik. The latest changes to Saudi visas has made it very easy to set up your own business. Particularly for British nationals, it costs £30 for a 6 month visa to visit, study or for business. I know a few brothers who have started their own businesses without a Saudi sponsor. They are trying to attract investors and business people.
However, living costs are increasing so Oman is better in that area.
BUT, nothing compares with going to Makkah or Madinah whenever you wish. That is priceless.

Setting up a business anywhere in the world requires investment and a licence to operate. The costs depend on the type of business.

Good video brother. Wanted to add few things on visa.
    1. UAE - you can get a 2 year or 5/10 year Residency visa with family or Golden visa by investing 750k AED or 2M AED or by talent. You can live, study, work, buy more and enjoy good luxurious life in Sharjaah or Abu Dhabi. You are still very close to Madinah and Meccaah, do Umraah Hajj over weekend in sha Allaah :)
    2. Saudi Arabia - you can get Permanent Residency (unlimited time) with your family, however, thats not citizenship. You can run your own business, buy properties etc.
When making Hijraah, we also need to consider family and children. Their Islamic and secular education. To me, except UAE, none of the Arab countries have abundant International schools, colleges and Universities that UAE would provide. I have seen many migrations to these countries that just resulted in exhaustion. So ine has to plan extremely well, and have good financial stability and strength to move with families.

I'm from Egypt and I can't deny what you said. This all happened because of A Secular military coup occured in 2013 and we are suffering because of it till now. The coup was done on the only elective presenet we Egyptiens ever had, who was a religious muslim, the Material Egnineering professor, Dr. Mohammad Morsi, killed in prison 2019. The Authorities now see any religious muslim as a possible threat. I'm sorry if you faced hardships here but we, Muslim religious Egyptians, ourselves face much more than you think.

The easiest way to live in Malaysia for foreigners is by working in the current company in your country and have a branch in Malaysia, so you will become an expat with higher AUS income. 2nd easiest option is to become a lecturer and apply for lecturer position in universities in Malaysia, but it's quite competitive.
For an engineering job, it actually depends on what kind of engineering that you're in, like O&G, engineer for machinery products etc, where you can try to apply with companies that have products sold in Malaysia under sole distributor etc. Then there's not so easy or cheap option like MM2H program etc

Brother you should retract your statement about Morocco as it's far from truth. You should bring a point if it is more than anecdotal experience. It seems your experience of it is based purely on holiday. We as well as hundreds of expats live here in Morocco across the country from the West. And we live here very comfortably, we own properties here, businesses here, some of the bros married to women from here and have children with them. And more. Generally speaking I don't like sugarcoating the reality that effects one on hijrah it should be considered carefully. However, what you said seems like a major issue in Morocco which is absolutely far from the truth. However, Oman was one of our chosen destination ahead of Morocco we chose Morocco for other reasons I am afraid Oman cannot beat, such as residency, citizenship after 5yrs and more. Seriously every one is so friendly, a crime rate of almost 0 and its so safe i sometimes take a walk at 2am like its nothing. Great infrastructure + Great schools, food is clean EVERYWHERE, I honestly cant remember getting food poisoning from any restaurant in saudi. Mosques are every where and the brothers are so welcoming and kind hearted. Moreover, most mosques give it lectures after every asr as well as A Qur'an memorisation program throughout the year, for all people regardless of their age and gender. Every part of saudi arabia has its unique culture, weather and vibe but they all have the same sense of brotherhood and welcoming towards anyone.

Allahuma Barak, very good information. I travel alot and wish to share some tips as I have visited some of these countries:
NOTE: for those who downplay the topic of Hijrah, I work with multiple schools in a large US city, including multiple public, charter, and even Islamic schools. It is a very difficult and saddening situation especially to our Muslim youth in these schools. Some of these countries, like Sweden and Germany, do not even allow youth to be homeschooled.
    1) UAE is very good if you rely on speaking English, as most major cities, English is commonly spoken, I was able to get around without issue. Abu Dhabi and Sharjah are definitely more Islamic compared to Dubai. It is important to understand that cities in UAE are their own Emirate, with their own rulers, thus the cities can vary quite a bit.
    2) I very much agree that Indonesia & Malaysia is difficult to visit due to the travel distance from N America and Europe. However for those in Australia, it is easy to go back and forth between Indonesia + Malaysia due to the various low cost airline connectivity.
    3) Language barrier is very much an issue in Indonesia, other than Bali but Bali is not Islamic, the majority religion in Bali is Balinese Hinduism. Nonetheless, I found Indonesians to be generally friendly and helpful despite the language barriers.
    4) Bosnia is Muslim majority but Islam makes up approximately just over half of the countries population, so you will find cities especially in the south, where Islam is the minority. Nonetheless, it is a very peaceful country but language barrier and the war has the country on a road to recovery. It is also easy to travel between W Europe and Bosnia, you can even travel by bus.
    5) I have met people in Pakistan that have willingly moved back from US, despite having residency in US, especially once they have kids. Life in Pakistan can be difficult especially in the large cities, but I find medium size cites to be much better, it all depends on where you go, how you plan your income, and how you adopt.

I have to comment on a few things. People seem to be favoring the GCC countries. The negatives of GCC countries are the following: Lack of citizenship. Dealing with kafala system or a system similar to it. Dealing with colorism or racism meaning it is still possible a western national who is Pakistani or African in origin can get paid less than a white American nonMuslim. Dealing with kids growing up feeling like second class citizens if they are Asian Arab or African in origin because of the lack of being locals or having citizenship. Think about these things carefully before moving there.

I loved the video, Jazakallah Khair. I will be looking more into Oman inshaAllah. I have been looking into moving to Saudi Arabia, and I found couple of things not correct in the video about Saudi. You didn't mention about the Permanent Residancy that they recently started which makes it easier for investors (real estate and business), entrepreneurs etc. And also you showed a photo of alcohol shop opening in Saudi, which is not the exact news about the country. They are opening a shop in diplomat quoters with full security for only foreign diplomats, because there was a black market that was already created for alcohol. So they are taking this action not to promote or increase the use of alcohol, but to limit it and increase the prohibition in the public sphere of the country.

that last line does not make any sense. there is no logical connection between making something open and somehow reducing the demand for it. the fact that it is a blackmarket is good, its stigmatized at least which is what the shariah does.

Awful suggestion to say Oman they have a large chunk of Ibaadis who hold Baatil beliefs and share the same Aqeedah as the Khawarij examples include but are not limited to:
The one who commits a major sin is a kaffir
They have the same view as the Mutazaliah and the Khawarij in regards to the Quran and Allahs attributes
They criticise Uthman رضي الله عنه and Muawiyah رضي الله عنه khalifahs

Right next to Bali is Lombok, a "Muslim Bali" but much less touristy with good facilities.
