having a generation who are not afraid of losing a job because of unjust treatment and lack of career development is just fine. Unlike the boomers/millennials who stay despite the poor treatment is just unbelievable. With this development companies will change their policies and invest more on their employees.

I am not a Gen Z but a older Millenial and I agree with the new Gen Z culture. Life is not meant to live in an office! I left work a few years ago and love it. I read books, work out and am enjoying my life. I've scaled my expenses down by 70% moved from NYC to a farm in Vermont. I used to be a professional working in the city but the pandemic gave me the mental space to realize I was not happy with my life. Now I'm doing something completly different, I work when I need to, Instead of going to bars and dropping 100 dollars every time in NYC now I go camping with my dog in the country. A lot happier now.

Boomers know best how to make life all about having a job, getting married, buying a house and having kids... I'm just so done with that trope!
It's like you need to suffer through work so you're children can also suffer through work. Why the HELL do I have to play into that cycle. Realism, Idealism, Capitalism, whatever it is, it's not like our lives are gonna get any better with a "money hungry wolves" attitude.
We're all gonna jump into soil one day, be that the rich or poor, early or late. Money only gives an edge on happiness. And for people who grew up with it, it does not equate to happiness. And that's no one's fault except circumstances'.
I think Gen Z just decided to give up and go with the flow. At least, whenever the need arises, I'm sure they'll get to work. And if profit can be made from a hobby, what's the issue?
You don't have to portray the world in a negative sense always just cuz you're the media!

With the advent of AI, human being had become "replaceable part" in the Society. If the latest 12,000 employees of Google getting lay-off recently does not show you that truth (in what way money makers wants to progress toward), then you are blind to the changes happening in the World.

This is amazing, but only possible if the bank balance is solid, this is perhaps true for limited sectors, countries and socio-economic segments. The bank of Mum & Dad seems somewhat parasitic in nature especially for westerners who want to be "independent of parents" but are quite ok to free ride on their parents if need be! Really Amazing stuff..!
