Designed by the luxurious French company S.T Dupont during the 1980s, the Ligne 2 features the famous and "Ping" signature sound of the brand, as satisfying to hear that to ignite. Dupont lighters are known around the world, just like Dunhill, or Zippo lighters after decades of services.

I am an enabler, a second hand smoker, one who buys lighters and cigarettes for intimate friends who smoke, and yet he doesn't smoke. Enameled Dupont lighters were one of my favorite gifts to present. And, I recall a silver Cartier or two, but mostly Dupont black or red enamel. It's unfortunate, but I've outlived all of my friends.

Duponts are gifts only a really good friend would give. Says alot about you. You must be a very caring person. Like the other comment said new friends are easy to make. Don’t sit alone if you can get out go and make friends at your church.

So I wanted one and checked eBay. Holy hell that is an expensive collection, from just that one sales case full of lighters. You know they’re a collectible piece of jewelry when gold is the cheapest in the range.
From what I’ve seen searching online, these lighters range from 800 on the low end, to around 1300 or 1400 USD. A statement piece for sure
