Battletech Prepainted Terrain! Hextech Battlefield in a Box

Naomi unboxes and sets up the prepainted terrain of Trinity City, a Hextech terrain set by Gale Force 9 and Thunderhead Studio, designed for 6mm scale games like Battletech, Mech Warrior, Adeptus Titanicus & Legions Imperialis.

Great video! As you mentioned, these are designed for BattleTech specifically (even though they can be used for any 6mm scale game), which is why they are designed with consistent elevations. There are no levels printed on the buildings anywhere, so to tell what level it is, you use the actual scale of the models, and they're built so that if you, say, jump jet to the roof of a building, there's a place you can put the model. Thunderhead also had the STLs for these and a bunch of other buildings available on their site, so if you have an FDM 3d printer, you could try printing them yourselves! They include a Readme file with their recommended settings (bed depth etc.).

It’s a great time to come back to BattleTech! Catalyst did a Kickstarter just earlier this year for a new wave of minis, which should be coming next year - bunch of new IS and clan mechs, but the big thing they’re adding are combat vehicles.
