Hey pilots! Tricker here and I want to welcome you to my channel on combat aviation. I'm a real world pilot in the Airbus 319/320/321 series and I enjoy DCS World, Falcon BMS, Falcon 4.0, IL-2 Sturmovik, X-plane 11, and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you want to fly WWII aircraft over Normandy and the English Channel, then DCS World WWII is for you and they have plenty of aircraft to choose from such as the BF-109, FW-190, Spitfire, P-47 Thunderbolt, and P-51 Mustang. If you enjoy modern aerial combat then you want to focus more on DCS World products such as the F-16, A-10C Warthog, AH-64D Apache, F-15, F-14, JF-17, SU-27, Mirage, Mig-29, F-18 Hornet, Mi-8, Mi-24 Hind, Uh-1 Huey, Ka-50, F-5, Mig-21, AV-8b Harrier, and the F-4 Phantom. Some of the mods that are out there for DCS World are the F-22 Raptor, SU-57, A-4 Skyhawk, Rafale, and Gripen.
I enjoy other games such as Total War, Battlefield, War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, as well as Squad.

Sent this to my Father in Law that’s an actual Apache Pilot. He was flew for the most part of Operation Desert Storm and enduring freedom.
He was surprised to see how accurate the details and was at first concerned of how DCS has obtained some details (not all) of even starting one up. Congrats, you impressed an actual pilot of the basics even though that’s almost standard procedure for most helicopters.
Yeah DCS is incredibly accurate. They use real world pilots to verify and help design the models. Most aircraft are limited in what they can do as they do NOT use ANY classified information in any of the coding or 3d models.

@dkortman6496 me with my buddy playing AWACS 😂 He LOVES doing qrf stuff. I always give him like 10 minutes to start up and he's up in 5. He tells me to be in the air 30secs after loading in😂 "b-b-b-but my INS 😢" "You don't need that BS! The bombers being tracked!.. You're too late.. he dead." 😂

Ahh man, I love the detail of DCS so much. The sight of the throttle splitting the rubber part is so smooth you can feel it bounce back through the screen. Just an amazing game. Also I’m aware that I probably used the wrong word for whatever that rubber part thing is but in my defense I don’t own the Apache or any other helicopters🤣 just the Tomcat, Viper and quite a few Soviet warbirds.
We need more Apache content!

When I was younger I was within inches of hellfire missiles and got to sit in the cockpit of an Apache attack helicopter and a Blackhawk helicopter and a at that time a cobra attack helicopter and the cockpit of a Huey It was really cool but I didn't have the eyesight to be able to do what they do but I have a lot of respect for him they're good dudes

When you have to do linear physics to start a helicopter
You forgot one thing for this, if u want ur heli to not crash and to have a good fuel circulation, press A/C, then to FUEL, then make sure •C Aux is turned on, it u dont turn this on, it will be likely that u will crash

I remember the frogfoot days.
Now I’m sitting here with way too much money in joysticks, a collective that’s mounted to my chair, and plenty of fun helicopters and planes.
Not sure if you’re just young and don’t have much money, but either way, if you can just set a little bit of money aside each week or even each month until you can get a payware module.
The f18 and f16 are excellent starter modules! They’re easy to fly and easy to learn. I’d stay away from helicopters for your first purchase as if you’re not already experienced with helicopters, learning to fly them is a frustrating and long process.
However, there is a free UH-60 Blackhawk mod for DCS. It’s incredible and super easy to fly compared to helis like the Apache and the Huey. The Apache and Huey are extremely sensitive and you WILL over-control them if it’s your first helicopter. The blackhawk has a great Stability Augmentation System (SAS) that makes it tenfold easier to fly than the Huey or Apache.

This is super cool to show my Dad coz he left AAC at the same time they replaced Lynx with Apache platform around 2000/2001. Unfortunately my Dad was at the end of his career and he felt he had used up all his luck flying. He’s had some close calls. Anyway he refused an offer to stay for 5 extra years and transfer to Apache. I wanted him to stay coz I’d never known my Dad to do anything else. Anyway I’m glad in a way coz he never had to go Afghanistan or Iraq
