I use KRITA and I was hitting a mental block with trying to draw a snowy mountain. I was using a method very similar to yours but it just didn’t seem right. Seeing you ALSO fill in with the texture brush instead of just removing helped me realize what I was doing correctly.

I actually needed this video for painting northern lights, so thank you so much! I do hope you will make a tutorial on crystals. Northern lights and crystals are my two main inspirations in art, and even though so many concept artists paint crystals, I’m surprised at the lack of tutorials on them!

After you emboss the snow layer, I would "create layer" with that layer style and make a mask on it, then take away some of the emboss on some areas, to give the snow a variation of edge thickness, and so you don't see such uniform depth (giving it more digital/fake feel)

JMC I have been focusing a lot on environments as it's what I love doing the most, but characters and props are really interesting subjects as well so you will definitely see more of that.
I have a question. How do you make characters in these paintings? I've watched the concept art video, but more specifically, how do you just... make them so quick? (Like at 50:00) I've always been bad at drawing people so it's amazing to see how you can just do that!

At 18:10 and 14:00 does anyone know if there is a brush pack that I can download on Clip Studio Paint that looks similar? Or if anyone knows a tutorial where I can make the texture brush myself? Because base Clip Studio Paint doesn't have that many options like he had at 14:00 (That I know of) Thank you!
Hey so i have your brushes and everything but the problem is that i don't know how to set them up properly. The shapes of the brushes seem to work but the textures don't. Do you think you could do a video on how to set them up?
