I’ve been following you for months now and I just now realize you’re the CEO of Evenant and a music composer😂 It makes sense why you always have great background music!
Every time I am stuck with what to draw, I go back to simple shapes and gradients like circles and blocks a create a flat scene then add depth with drop shadows and gradients and it gets the concept down and I'm able to get inspiration from that!! It's like I'm basically building my own inspiration!!
I know I am late to commenting about this video, but I keep coming back to it. I love everything about this. The theme. The real time. The tips. The music. The work itself. I want a movie from this concept so bad. Thanks so much! 😊
Art Schools, even thought I'm a graduate from a prestigious art school are a waste of money now. They don't teach like you do. They teach you to meet deadlines and discipline but I learned to paint and draw better from the younger students as I was 28 when I went. Thank you for the video!
i fully agree when he says to emulate other artists being the way to go because emulating others gives you the enjoyment of painting and then later on when your feeling more comfotable in painting then you will develop your own style with in the kind of ppainting you like
I really don't know what brought on the new types of videos but damn I love it. Its dope to tune in every few days and after uni lectures to see a new art video. really takes the nerves off of my mid-terms
This was such a great video, both entertaining and educational. Really loved the mood of the painting. Gave me death stranding vibe which I'm a fan of. Loved the intro short film.
21:15 I enjoyed listening to having your own style part. It’s a lot to take in, especially because it trying hard to find my own style. But it’s helping me a lot by just being inspired by the artists I love ❤️
I wanted to learn to do something like this - wish you could do private tutoring ;-). I am in need right now as I have a project that is due the next day! So amazed with your work!
Love your work and your channel! Don’t know if anybody else has mentioned this to you, but you you have a very calming voice - you’re the Bob Ross of conceptual mat painting! Keep em coming!
Hello Sir Walid, thank you for your videos and your hard work. I hope to see a concept art with a help of 3D (or Blender). Personally, I find it more time consuming to use 3D than to simply paint everything. I would like to know when to use 3D in a painting (other than the ability to get every angle of painting possible).
YOU SIR ! are awesome !!! I love painting while listening to your instructions...please do a video of a steampunk dark theme environment...I've never seen anything like that...I'm sure you'll nail it
These creepy / scary videos are perfect, I love them. Maybe we could see more? With your advice, I try my first horror painting. It's cool to create a monster, hidden in the dark while waiting for a poor victim. Have a nice day!
Omg, you’re in Norway! I’m Norwegian. Then you mentioned Gothenburg sweden, I’m applying for Florence academy of art in sweden, which is right outside of Gothenburg! Would love to meet you one day ❤️
Hi Megan! This is called Photoshop from Adobe. It's a great software for creating art and manipulating your images. It's also using a Wacom drawing tablet so I can paint on the computer. I actually have a full course on how you can create some great digital art as a complete beginner. It's called Cinematic Design: From Idea To Finished Concept Art. Check it out! :) Best, W.
Hey...Can you start A video Series on Concept Art??....on "one word" Abstract topics??... Example:- Sadness,Rude,Horror And.... "phrases" for example:- All that Glitters is not gold......we expect it from you because you inspired me to field of Design... through simple drawings.made it interesting ❤️...It would help me for my future Design Exams tooo... thankyou 🙏
Great video and very informative! I am curious, what program are you painting on / which programs do you guys recommend? I am new to digital painting, but come from a traditional art background. Thanks!!
It's photoshop if you see the tiny symbol on the thumbnail and it's $39,99 a month because it's on sale. When the sale is gone the cost will be $52,99 a month but im kinda confuse why people saying it $9,99.
the pacing of the video is perfect. cos u answering questions and stuff. if it's focused on the piece then timelapse. but thats just me 0:) i enjoy your videos and thanks for the brushpack 0:)
I'm wondering if you could teach us how to paint hyper-realistic paintings? Sometimes I watch videos with explaining, look at the final piece on deviantart and it looks so much different from that what they show in the video. It looks so much better than before, but they don't show these steps. And its so sad because I really want to dig in, but no artist wants you to teach their "secrets". Probably they don't want you to copy their art. I have no interest in copying actually but I really want to learn what tools they use to get that realistic look. I absolutely love horror as well and I really want to dig that Jeff the Killer & Slenderman hyper-realistic horrofiying painting I have in mind.

this painting got a really Simon Stålenhag-esque feeling to it. i would love to see you do a painting on Ipad
yeah it does
Question: How much detail is too much detail?
Ex. The inside of the car.
Zoom out and paint when zoomed out (fit on screen), I doubt you could detail the inside of the car when zoomed out. In my humble opinion. :)
/\
l. What he said
Here's a tip I learned: if you have to zoom in past 100% don't worry about detail because no one's gonna see it
It's 20 mins already and he still hasn't saved the file... my anxiety is rly kicking in
Same here, i would had save in the giant ghosts part
It’s the real horror here
man fears nothing. O_O

16:38 EXACTLY, taking a bunch of art classes really seem to me to just be a bunch of art prompts and nothing really practical is taught often

Is there any way the Evenant brush pack could be converted for Clip Studio Paint?
