    This looks quite simple (although I’m aware it comes with practice). I’ve been looking at how to practice landscape paintings to transition towards creating my own and this definitely shows me how. Thank you 😊

      @@WalidFeghali in the case you would want to do something like this again, you can try to do a study of an urban area, with a lot of details :) maybe even Rio/Bangladesh/Tokyo types of streets, or maybe Russian 'post-apocalyptic' urban scapes :D. I really find those hard to study xD

    You use surprisingly small canvases... usually I use 4K minimum (I’m referring to that your painting without the reference is 2000).
    Do you use small canvases for more “finished” artwork too? Is that okay?
    What canvas size is generally required/desired in a professional work environment?

    • @ninja_tony
      @ninja_tony 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It can depend on what you want to do with the art once it's finished. There aren't really any rules on what size to use, but if you are going to be posting your art professionally, I think 3k or 4k is a good minimum. If you ever plan to print your art and sell it, you especially want the biggest canvas your computer can handle without lagging or crashing (and make sure you are set to 300 dpi as well). A smaller canvas is fine for studies or sketches I think, and I've even seen some artists create a rough sketch of their painting using a very small canvas, and then resizing it to 4k before the "official" painting begins.

      Brushes dont really matter but the settings are very important. They cant be 100% opacity because you wont be able to layer them and if you are doing line art and sketching pressure sensitivity will help a lot.
