I had to take this video down for a while due to my *intro song* being claimed for copyright. After that, I trimmed it out using TH-cam's studio editor... then it glitched on me for months! Finally, I got it to work. I put it as unlisted for a while. 😅

I can sometimes sing whistle tones randomly like when Im doing something I try to whistle and it comes out. The problem is that it never comes out when I aim for a whistle while singing a song.

That's something that I've found pretty hard to get over as well. You're not alone!! lol.
So here's what you can do, give some time before the whistle to take a breath, (but not too big cause you'll choke) and then try the whistle. It's hard to hit it spot on right after singing. That's why some singers pause even for a millisecond and let the background singers sing so they can prepare for the cherry note.

Try to warm up before singing whistles, so it doesn't feel restricted when trying to hit those upper notes.

lea hafer are you male or female because I couldn't hit the whistle note last week and now I'm kinda learning it and I can get to D7 and I'm a guy but it cracks a a lot and I can hold it on as long as so I'm still practicing

While those exercises are great to help hitting whistles notes with a neutral larynx, to sing them beautifully and correctly a strong head voice is essential.

How to avoid pulling your larynx up when doing whistle? I can whistle,but I always feel my larynx goes up when I do it,I want to learn the correct technique
uhhmm, that's a good question. I wanna answer it but it is hard to describe through text, maybe I'll add that to another video.

Lutfian Hadiarso my vocal teacher says that it is because you don't have air/support, so your larynx raises to compensate so maybe it is outta your range so the only way you can hit it is like that, so don't just skip to high notes, sing your highest note WITHOUT your larynx raised, then improve from there :)

I managed to get to from a A1-C8 using that tuner and I just wanted to let you know that you are an angel in disguise. E6 is about as high as I can get reliably XD Sometimes I can hit F6 but usually only if I am very relaxed and don't feel pressure to hit it (like when I have been singing in my lower registers for a while just messing around). Thanks for the video!

So here's the thing, I did what you said with the piano and I hit them all up to A6 quite easily, but the thing is I don't know if what I'm doing is a whistle or a scream. They don't sound as nice as yours or Mariah's or any other whistle I've heard, but I literally am just carrying on the lip roll at the correct note, so idk. Any advice?
Maybe you're putting to much Tone,And you have to find the balance (Mor Airy,But no too much)

To do buzz rolls : Take a deep breath in , Close ur mouth lightly , and then exhale while ur mouth is closed , and hopefully you did a buzz roll

I do have a bit of practice in whistle notes, but this really did give me a better technique to get a clearer sound and hit the note more accurately! Thank you!! Unfortunately I couldnt get as high as I usually do T-T but it is early, and like you said about the (.) thing loll
