AmaZane Channel when i doing whistle tones i always push(like13/14/15%effort) try to little bit of push it soundlike half whistle tones and other weird cracking sound,am i doing it right or not,i can hit high c or maybe like c6,c7 ;),with 13/14/15% effort

Youre obvi a Lyric Soprano.. But Do you think youre a coloratura? You can get pretty high up in falsetto and your super good a melismas.

when ever i try to do a whistle tone i just sound like when you try to scream and it doesn't come out.. i have no idea how to fix it :/ it kinda sounds like hhhh..
lisey maybe you’re putting to much pressure. try drinking lotsssss of water to get rid of the dryness in your throat. try to scream but add breath to it. i think maybe just make sure you’re not hurting your voice.

It all depends on how you sing on other registers. If you could flow easily in a chest register then you just have to experiment a way to transfer that into the whistle register. Hope that helped :)

It could be because you push with a lot of air, try using as little as you need so it comes out light and beautiful.

Hey I have a question and any possible reply would be great. I've gone through puberty and I've lost my ability to sing whistles like i had before. Before my vocal range was E1-G#5-Bb7 and now its E1-F#5-C#6 they come out as small squeals/speaks then when i let out the rest of my air after I can't handle the pressure anymore it whistles. When i whistle is soooo quiet but it doesn't crack or change in pitch I've managed to slowly fix that. But how do I make my whistles louder and more refined. After hydration, vocal warm ups, lip trills and practice singing. It's become hard to make a chime but have gone to the doctor and there is no strain or damage so I haven't done anything wrong so far. Would you have any ideas? please anything helps. If you read this far you are the truest MVP. Luv you and your content.
they're higher than soprano notes that's why and u can here us better than altos and basses and baretones cause lower voices r always much lower vol than soprano

I got to a Mariah Carey
I have an 8 octave(instuner) app similar to yours and the highest note that I've ever hit was G8 and that was totally by accident. You have awesome control and great fluidity in your whistle notes! I love listening to them. It might take me longer to get my whistle notes in check bcuz, maybe, it could be the fact that I'm older(almost 50) lol. I can't wait to take a voice class and opera for my electives towards my degree hopefully when the state decides to reopen everything. Unfortunately, my school went to remote learning and everything is on hold for me at this time because of no internet or technology and the school wasn't really prepared for the transition. I'm gonna have to find other resources for continuing safe singing exercises. Any suggestions during these times? Thanks for any information would be great 😊👍

Most of the time you have to work for it but it seems so natural for you :p
It was a mix, it came a bit natural for me but it took time to get it to muscle memory. :)
Mine were natural also but I did have to correct them a bit. (I was singing them with too much air and too little of tone)

I think she may be a Coloratura, because she hit E7 once, which falls under the Coloratura Category.

last year i could do whistle notes easily but now i can't and even i can't bell high notes like i did :( do you have ang tip or know what or why happened?
Did you go through puberty? Did you do it incorrectly?
If so, you're going to have to experiment with your voice safely, if you do it in a way where it feels strained try a different method. Everyone's different and we all learn differently. I hope this helped! 💜

Harryismyfcupcake oooooh we're the same. I had laryngitis and I wasn't aware until I was diagnosed. I guess I got that due to singing whistle improperly. I can't even hit falsetto higher than G5. lol I'm a female. I still haven't gone back to my doctor to know if I have permanently damaged my cords 😭😭
I lost my whistle too!! I can't even hit C6! I could hit G#6 with my falsetto before! T.T i think i lost it before i did it in improper way! T.T
Harryismyfcupcake do you snore? I lost mixed voice/high chest and my voice would crack. I started sleeping on my side to prevent snoring. Fixed after 3 weeks.

Try doing it in a closet or cover your move with a blanket. Better yet, just soundproof your room :o
I do it in my car when I’m driving :)
My vocal coach said to do it nasally for a bit so you don’t strain if your beginnning

Anyone can sing coloratura roles if they have good agility and can produce high notes. The quality in sound will be different if that isn't where your natural tessitura lies however, you CAN improve agility and range with consistent practice.

How can i whistle if my voice is dry and cough
i have a pretty good handle on my whistle register now but i’m having SO much trouble connecting my head voice and my whistle register! It’s almost like i need to fully reset the positioning of my larynx in order to switch registers and my passagio is incredibly weak. any tips on that transition area?
Try scaling up slowly and listen for the transition (it might crack) but that’s the part you should focus on the most. Keep repeating and experimenting different positions to smoothen that crack. Muscle memory is incredible. Lmk how that works!
