Before I went to sleep last night I said to my girlfriend that I had a vision of a foreign girl teaching me to sing from the diaphragm and looking at you with the hair over your shoulder your almost identical.

My father told me that when you sing with your head up and/or back, you’re more likely to strain your voice and have a harder time hitting the notes you want!
Yeah, my music teacher said that as well, she describes it as the difference between ‘reaching for the notes’ vs ‘ floating on the notes’

i had a diaphragm lesson today from take lessons live...and if someone is here and it tells you that you need to be 18+ you don’t need to be, they don’t care...many people i met today were younger than 18 so it’s ok
You can actually use a lot of this for other things. I play the trumpet, and if i don’t have the proper breath support then the high notes sound rough, and muddy. I’ve actually used breathing exercises so i can support high notes. So these exercises actually help a lot for instrument players, and singers alike.

I am learning singing at my own but it's really hard when don't have a guidens, and at some point u felt like giving up like it didn't ment for u. But I can't able to give up because that's all I have someone call dream when I felt like it's not getting better and no one sporting you it feels like my dreams breaking in my eyes. I'm gonna be practicing this all night because I have a performance tomorrow and its the first one since elementry and when I get nervous I breath incorrectly and my voice gets cracky but not anymore.

I've always had issues with breathing with my diaphragm because I take breaths like four times as big with my chest than my diaphragm but I've been told by all my teachers that I need to learn how to learn to stop breathing with my chest so here I am.
