    Doesn’t matter what you catch, it’s not the fish , it’s the fishin . Correct ?

      Agreed, I use to never fish for tiny fishes, but once I got an ultralight rod and real and ventured into smaller water ways. Man was I hooked!

    You had a pink jig head hooked through the tail of a craw. 🤣 that's got to be one of the most "Creek Fishing " things I've ever seen ! 😆 And you caught a bass on it ! That's inspirational. Lol

      Crawdads swim backwards that’s how you want your craw moving buddy

      @@boxingstarcmbballer8797 I grew up in the Creeks of Mississippi. Trust me when I say, I know pretty much all there is to know about crawdads. If you watched the video, he was fishing with a 1/16 or 1/32 Oz jig head. Instead of tying on a small EWG or even a straight shank he just hooked the jig hook right through the tail of the craw ( didn't thread it on at all) and tossed it out. I'm praising him for a great catch while rigging it up the most redneck way possible. Lol 😂

    Often times when I hit a pile of branches in a creek that's risky to throw into, I'll use a float and drift a tiny tube into the area. Keeps the lure from getting snagged and I found its really effective.

  • @mattbailey7049
    @mattbailey7049 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    What always strikes me is how quick, smooth, and accurate your casts are. I would lose way less lures on branches if i could get my accuracy on point. I probably average a lost lure every 30 to 45 minutes.

    Love the uncut version. It’s like the video game Doom, but for creek fishing haha
    If you want some epic creek fishing, I invite you to my area. I have so many spots around me and one in particular my ex and my kids have caught 30 fish each in just a couple hours at one hole on many different occasions. Pumpkinseed, redbreast, largies, smallies, stocked trout, random bluegill, rock bass, fall fish, chubs, white suckers… you name it. I’m not a TH-camr (yet) but if he happy to show you the spots and let you do your thing.
    Let me know. I’m outside Philly.

It appears to work really nice. THANKS IN ADVANCE. Jimmy Williams ; S.E. OKLA. Love the video, and your small creek

    That's a yellow Yum Grub right? I love those, but they only make them in white yellow and chartruse. Can you get them to make it in other colors? 'Cause it'd be a hoot fishing with a Bubblegum Yum Grub! 😂

    I bet if you threw a little rapala there at the end of that creek at end of video you would have cleaned up them bass you seen .

  • @boxingstarcmbballer8797
    @boxingstarcmbballer8797 ปีที่แล้ว

    The bright yellow line definitely isn’t the best to use in a small clear creek they probably see it and that’s why so many spook . You wanna use clear line the whole way . Use flouro if you get a decent 6lbs flouro line you can still cast it well and they won’t see it .
