You were a trooper to push that hook through!
I still have the little scar 😭
Next time, push down on the hook eye so that it is laying against your skin and hold it there, run heavy leader around bend in hook and wrap around the puller's fingers like floss and snatch the leader back in the opposite direction that the hook entered the finger, pops right out. Or do the push through method like you did. Not a bad day on the river though.
Looks like a fun trip
It was a good time brother
Took the hook and still was catching fish!!
😂😂
I just got my RVR a few days ago. I bought the sidekick wheels before my kayak came, but because I always do side entry to the boat I wonder how to then get the wheels up. I would like to see a video of launching the kayak with the wheels before I bother to put them on.
Hey Brian ! I can do a video in a couple of weeks but I would say it is really easy to disengage the wheels even with the kayak out of water. The kayak is very light.
@northgafisherman9913 I hope you do a video, I have never seen a video of actually launching with the sidekick. I have mine installed, but I am leaving the wheels off for now.
@northgafisherman9913 I started using my sidekick now, but that's because I can walk out in the water with it. I don't think I could sit in it and put the wheels up.
@@briandavis8977 yeah I’m not doing that either ! It’s uncomfortable
Gotta have the river yak!! Ill never not have my big kayak, fully loaded etc. But gotta have the skinny water yak as well!!! Love the RVR, but i ended up going with the shoalie, both great for skinny water
Shoalie is a great option too for sure !
Do yourself, the fish and any kids you fish with a favor and crimp the barb down with some pliers. Hooked my friends dog with a double treble lure, after that we crimped all our barbs for 4 years now. No difference on hookup ratio could be even better idk 🤷🏻♂️ but it’s worth it to all you fisherman out there. The hooks got me too, had them crimped though.
Thanks for the tip ! I’ll give that a try and see how it works on the water tomorrow
Nice video congrats 🎉
Gracias Gracias
I'd love to see a walkthrough of how you've setup the RVR119; I'm thinking about getting one.
I got you I’ll upload a short video on the set up brother ! It’s a great yak!
Very nice setup. I am considering buying one, but not sure about the lack of in hull storage. How does the RVR handle with the battery in the rear? I assume you have the battery in the BlackPak.
I get what you’re saying! I def was intentional this set up. (Less to worry about on the river) the Newport battery fits great in the black pack and I have some room for a few things (Plano tackle box, GoPro case, & snacks)
lets go
🙌🏾 thanks for watching
OUCH
Yup 😂
No more Native Titan X?
Absolutely ! This is for the rivers !
