Hey Oats, congrats on the WR! I have a question: Have you watched/will you watch/will you react on stream to the SM Kaizo Original TAS? It's back on TH-cam and it is phenomenal! 1 hour and 20 minutes of glorious manouvers and glitches, even at the most tedious segments (which are even worse in that version). I'd love to see your opinion on it.

I think that some of the strats in that TAS run of the original could save some time in this run. There was also a missile skip that could save 10's of minutes, if it is still in Kaizo possible. Basically one missile collection location at the beginning kept respawning, for him to get all 100 missiles in just a few minutes. I seem to remember one of two other skips that looked like major time savers.

56:40 I'm thinking it's gotta get harder from here coz it's Kaizo SM and he just got Varia, no more heat rooms. This is one of the things I would really like to see, coz the one constant I notice is that when you get all the upgrades the game suddenly has no challenge.. this is true in Vanilla SM and in Map Rando (at least in the basic, medium difficulty and normal and tricky item collection modes.. I haven't played harder ones)
