Wow, Karen! You found some incredible items at this Goodwill. That Kosta Boda candle holder is amazing, as are so many other things you got (that purse! 🤩). The prices were very reasonable & the volume of goods insane! I would LOVE to have a Goodwill like this in my area. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ Edit- oh no! You put the Kosta Boda back, lol. I understand why, but boy was it beautiful. I personally buy single candle sticks all the time, because I like the look of grouping different ones together.
You should try using a blow dryer to soften the glue of the tape they use on hard goods. It works faster than smoking and as well. Saving your time is important in resale because your time is also of value. Have a great day!

I went to a Salvation Army store yesterday near the twin cities in Minnesota. 3/4 of the stuff was brand new, donated overstock stuff from TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Target, Kohls and some other stores. The prices were high! Items were marked at half of the original cost which seems a bit much for a thrift store. I did find that they had really good prices on name brand purses and they were real! I got 3 purses for $32. All three had their original tags. I did a google search on them and was surprised at the price of each one. The brands I found were The Sak, B.O.C. and another.
I have bought nwt sweatshirts with initials that are not mine and worn it proudly! And most of the people that see me in it don't know that these aren't my initials! If I liked that bag, I would buy it and not worry about the initials!
I found a Paco Rabanne coat at a woman’s yard sale where all the clothing was $3 to $5 each. I couldn’t believe it. That and the leather tank top and leather pants from Alice + Olivia and a Spyder ski jacket were my first sales that got me started on Poshmark, all from her sale. Congrats on the purse! Oxoxoxo
Visited this store on this past Saturday - what a mess and the crowds - OMG! Do like that they made more room for hard goods but they need more shelves to spread out the goods. Great stuff, just hard to see with everything piled on top of each other. Maybe that will change once they get settled.
Ground Advantage Day 1: Used Ground Advantage today (9 July) for the first time and as we hoped, the First Class and Standard Shipping listings came up with Ground Advantage as a choice when buying the label.. First Class still appeared, but there was a note saying if I selected it, a Ground Advantage label would print. It was great that the change was "seamless". Now we just have to worry about the section in the reference that said "for 30 days". Now, the odd thing is that when I finished packing, I went to the USPS web site to schedule Monday's Carrier Pick-up. On their page it has you indicate how many of each type of package will be there, when the carrier arrives. That page has not been updated to reflect Ground Advantage. It still has both First Class and Ground classes there to fill in the package count and weight. Funny, that eBay has done well (so far) with the change, but the Post Office is lagging on their own update. Perhaps it's because its a Sunday. Perhaps it's because 2 different USPS divisions are involved to make the changes. Perhaps it's simply the Post Office. 🙃🙃

You missed the Lowepro camera backpack hanging underneath the the Yonex tennis bag! When you see the Lowepro label it is always camera related! I would've loved that backpack for myself, would've snapped it up in a sec!
Henn is Henn Workshops. Was a direct sales company. My sister sold it and I have a lot of it. The pottery issponge ware in blue, pinks , greens. VERY heavy duty!

The PFG bag, you said PFG so I thought oh, its Columbia Performance Fishing Gear but I backed the vid up and saw its actually PGF - haha - so yeah maybe it IS initials - BUT the emblem looks much like the TERRITORY AHEAD, which of course is a great brand. I saw a similar TA bag sell on ebay...over $100. And if PGF is indeed initials and its canvas then you can remove them. I use a seam ripper & small scissors. I watched a few vids on you tube about it after someone mentioned it in their video. I have used it now on 3 jackets so far and happy with results, I love saving stuff from landfill. It takes time but I just do it when I'm watching something on tv. If you can go back maybe get the bag if they were not asking too much...easy to ship. Just use google lens on it? I think out goodwill goes up to $24 a bag but then 3 weeks have half price and then at 4 weeks $1.79 day. Good luck.
The RBC Heritage is a PGA golf tournament that happens the week after the Masters. Heritage, sponsored by financial institution RBC, happens in Hilton Head SC. It’s a pretty major tournament for those who live in the southeast. I bet they’ll sell. If you know, you know. 😊

They are hit and miss around here on just about everything. The German blown glass ornaments used to be under $1 now over $4

To clean your wood pieces, use food grade mineral oil or lemon oil.

As a goodwill employee, I can tell you there is probably a reason things are taped. More than likely it is to keep the lid with the pot.
