Will somebody please tell me why I am so dang thrilled they found each other and got married??? I'm always glad to see people get married but these two were something special. Maybe it's because they are so perfectly yoked. She's as pretty as he is handsome, she's as feminine as he is masculine, they are both kind and their sense of humor melds well. Just so happy for them both. Congrats you two!!!!
The chaos is kind of nice because then it is not obvious what you are going to find at first glance. All the more chance to find something that others where not willing to dig for. 😄😉
I’m waiting in a Firestone lobby. Im getting an alignment. The gentleman told me I had to wait approximately 1 hour. In my head, “no problem, I’ll just go treasure hunting with Karen and Roger.” 😄🥰☀️ You are a doll🥰 thank you 😊
I have a booth in an "antique mall" and I sell a lot like you, not many antiques, and it is going soooo well. you can sell all the good stuff you find that's too big to ship and it's like storage too.
I remember Toe-po-gigeo. At the end he would always say, "Oh eddyyy, I looove you". I am older than you two and love that you point these things so we can remember.🤩👍 God bless you and your union forever✝🙏 Thank you Karen, and Roger for this beautiful video❣
Cheese Board: right below the top groove, where you tried to fit the knife in, looks to be a round magnet. Try putting the knife handle in the grove (blade facing down) with the metal blade going over the magnet, to hold it in place. 🙂
WOW! I'm so surprised to see you visited there! I am originally from PA, grew up nearby Hummelstown, and use to go there to shop myself. I moved to SC but miss home. it made me happy to see this. 😃
As a cabinet maker, Roger can appreciate that lovely corner cab! Happy you're taking it and sold for $125! I was thinking about you getting a booth as well. It'll be another fun adventure. Topo Gigio! Aw!!! Wow! $100 for the dragon mirror - awesome sale!
When I realize how much more money I would have in retirement had I been a thrifter like Karen…🤑. Sigh….makes me sad. It wasn’t on my radar - finishing college, high demand career & raising 3 kiddos as a divorced parent.
Topo Gigio!! I loved him. He always said, "Oh, Eddie." I was up watching too!! I see him as a stuffed figurine in antiques stores once in a while, always too much money but great memories!! Judy
Roger and Karen (the cute and savvy couple), I like that you don't limit our treasure hunting with you, because you take us along with you wherever you happen to go. Thanks. Good, quick flips you made at that Cool Antique/ Vintage mall. Hope you end up getting a booth there. : )
It was a thing in the early 80's to collect and display copper pots and pans. My neighbour at the time had them hanging all over the place on a pot hanger grid that hung from the ceiling. She had a couple of small shelves with moulds and small pieces. I never got into that look, but the pots you were showing us look like those display pots/pans.
The Celenite is a nice piece. It takes all the negativity out of your home. Plus if you have say a necklace or something put it on overnight and it clears it.
Wow Roger and Karen, such a nice Sunday to spent with my favorite utubers. You 2 are such a pleasure to spend time with. Isn't it such a wonderful thing to be far apart, many states between us, but you make us feel right there with you guys. Absolutely great buys on your 2 flips. Have a beautiful day Love 🐦 s
You're a hoot! I died when you said, "If you want to be happy in life, marry a guy who shops more than you do". Excellent advice, but I have never met one of those. I have always wanted to a man who was a carpenter or an antiques/thrift shop owner. I would even settle for one of each. One could build me cabinets and shelves, and the other could stock them. LOL
I believe that small round dot at the top of the cheese board is magnetic and you lay the blade of the knife there to secure. Nice video and I love having mixed items on shelves while thrifting. It becomes a treasure hunt for sure.
Brand new to your Chanel, but I must say I’m loving what you do here, so entertaining, your so lovely and easy to watch and listen to. Congrats on that new adorable husband of yours, he’s just great. You both are so very fortunate. 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Happy Sunday ! My Goodwills are all over the place and they don't bag are items anymore . We have To bag are own ! Always a joy watching your Thrifting Videos 😇 You and Roger have a great Day !
The purse you think you saw 2 years ago is a great example of a Selling Model in many Vender Booths and the way Vendor's price items. Some, like me, value price the common items to shift the volume and make room for the next items. Price it right and it will sell. Others have the mindset to put the prices high, still expecting enough items to sell each month to pay their booth rent. For me, unique items stayed out of my booth (for the most part) and went to other venues. It's why many venders see their sales fail to pay their monthly rent. Talk to the manager about the turnover rate among their venders, or notice each time you visit if the venders you saw last time have moved on. It's an importnat question to ask when you are considering renting your first Booth. For me, it had to be both profitable and fun, or wasn't worth doing.🙂
Karen and Roger, A booth would be a good idea. You could sell your artwork, larger lamps and glassware that is too heavy or fragile to ship. I so enjoy watching your channel and I love the fact that you met while thrifting. I mean, you can't make this stuff up. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. SueSue from Alabama. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Schlage Hinges, in the bag with Drawer Pulls: If the hinges are sealed retail stock, it's an easy seller that will cover your Buy in Cost for the bag. UPC will scan fast, for a comp and you can list it with 2 -2 photos. Easy Shipper too. Just drop it into a bubble mailer. Lots of buyers don't live near a Home Depot or Lowes and if they are adding a door or doing some remodeling, then it's nice to get a matching NOS hardware pack.
Such an adorable couple, when Roger flashes that smile! ❤ At age 62 I started selling on eBay. Knowing that you do it, Karen, made me more brave. I have a question, how long do you keep items in inventory? I know you’re a “long seller”, but how long before you give up on something?
Mixed Aisles of hard goods. It's the normal way the Goodwills in our area are done every day. They do try to separate things like Board Games and Coffee Cups, but general household goods, tools & hardware are just shelved with little thought to organization. When you first showed Color Coding, years ago, I was surprised by it.
Hi sweetie,. I have some copper & brass pans. One is marked France & the other Italy. The ones you were looking at weren't the real deal. Marks should be around the handle or edge of pan under handle. They are very heavy to ship but for your own cooking, it's amazing. That's why they only use those pots & pans in fancy French or super expensive Restaurants.
Oh, Topo Gigio!! (that's Italian for 'Gigio Mouse') I grew up with him, so many memories... I had no idea he was famous in the US as well. I really enjoy your videos, so many gorgeous objects and a relaxing time. Greetings from Italy 🥰
I also loved that Jerusalem circular pottery bird wall hanging- you should KEEP it! 😊and the prices in that antique collective were amazing!🤩 WOW that dragon mirror- VERY unique- definitely a marketplace piece!! You got some awesome picks great job Karen!!👏
In the town I live near, most of our antique/vintage stores charge $10/sq.ft. It's been this charge for years. Sometimes it pays to live in a small town.
talking about ice-cream .... "cherry garcia...Bing cherries w a chocolate drizzle" u should do commercial for Ben n Jerry cause I can't stop thinking about it
Please get the booth! I have 6 booths, will be great for you with larger items and everything that you would not like shipping Love booth of you, and wish you an a life together ❤️❤❤!
Topo Giggio was extremely popular in South America when I was growing up. I think it originated in Argentina. Or at least the translation we got was from there.

Karen, you can wear your readers on a cord around your neck, dear.😊 Or, if you don’t like the cord idea, you could just wear them on top of your head, like we do our sunglasses. Get them out of your handbag BEFORE you start shopping. Easy peasy!
I bought a pair of slip on Sevees and didn't like them. They weren't supportive at all. Also, I was able to meet Jim Shore last year. Super sweet. I love shipping dishes...they're quite easy to ship.
If something is carved from a telephone pole smell it it will smell like creasote. You sound so happy. Hubby looks so happy. He speaks. I would seriously think about the booth. They re very expensive and take more work than you know. Just do your homework. Then you won't get burned. They definately need to be air conditioned. And one floor.
Karen those items were AMAZING. Especially that dragon mirror. I would have for sure bought it myself. I would have overlooked the shelf to my regret..lol
Large Brass and Wood Shelf: if the 4 top Brass Finials spin off, the Shelf could then be “flat packed” in 3 pieces (wood and 2 metal brackets) for shipping, to keep the box size manageable. That would take the box down to about 2-3”. When I do items that way, I say so in the listing and usually add 1 extra photo with the parts laid out flat on a desk after disassembly
As an alternative, buy it, take the Brass Fittings off to sell them by themselves and scrap the wood. Then it's a small shipper, in a padded Flat Rate Bubble Mailer. Good Brass should still command a fair price. 🙂
Yes, Karen and Roger, I can see you starting an antique booth, what fun, you both have an good eye, and then and you can have a little side fun, put “tags” on them, and they will sell themselves (just a thought for down the road, (I realize that you are busy)

There is nothing better than being married to a man that shares the same interests as you and who is very patient! Love you guys🤗💕🙏🏼

I love The Sak handbags. They take up very little room when traveling. 👍🏻
I have one and I've probably had it for about 20 years and still looks as good today as the day I bought it
I love this longer treasure hunt with you and Roger!
I agree with Roger. Leftovers are better as the sauce taste more flavorful just from soaking in the pasta over night!
Nice antique mall! The dragon mirror was great. Roger is such a gem. I can see why you fell for him!
He absolutely is just as wonderful in real life!! 😊💜
OMG, I wish you had picked up that clear glass vase with the frosted overlay. It's exquisite.
I had that case back in the day😊

I’m with you- Cherry Garcia is fabulous! Thanks for taking us shopping- always an adventure!

I’m with Roger - leftover speghetti and meat sauce is my favorite lunch.

Amazing Store!! Thank you for taking us with you. So fun.
I too think Roger could very easily get $50 for the dragon wall hanging, such fun seeing all of those treasures!!
He got $100! It sold 😊
That is a humongous antique warehouse...wow so many great things! My only exception is that demonic-looking dragon mirror...YIKES
The Celenite is a nice piece. It takes all the negativity out of your home. Plus if you have say a necklace or something put it on overnight and it clears it.
The wood corner cabinet is beautiful!

I love Olde Factory! It’s actually in my neighborhood. You guys are great. Ty for another great video ❤

Thank you for taking me along with you , love you two together shopping ….
The corner cabinet is gorgeous! And the mirror is a great score!! Good job! And I got a younger man too!
I just love looking at vintage items! Thanks for bringing us with you!
On the cheeseboard turn the knife around, I think that’s a magnet, where it stays up there hooked on
I was going to say a hundred for the dragon mirror. People that are into dungeons and dragons woul love that.
Happy Sunday ! My Goodwills are all over the place and they don't bag are items anymore . We have To bag are own ! Always a joy watching your Thrifting Videos 😇 You and Roger have a great Day !
I think you mean “our” instead of “are”.
Super cool finds! And, 1962 was a very good year. Roger and I have that birth year in common :)

The fun thing about having a booth is that is where to sell all the larger items you do not want to ship.

I have that shelf. You could hang it like that but I think you have it upside down. Note the plate rail at the back edge when flipped the other way.
That corner cupboard was a bargain. You could easily fix that crack with starbond glue
I bought the brass embellished shelf at Bombay Company a lot of years ago.
