    My wife and I have been practicing yoga for several years. In our 70's, we are able to do so much that would be impossible without our yoga sessions.

    Great to find someone that that has an athletes background and is understanding of their needs. I’ve struggled for over a year with my hamstrings from running. Physio, compression boots and cryo therapy have had limited results. Following a few of your videos have made a much bigger difference along with recognising that my only competition is myself. Not every training session needs to be at max pace. Thank you

    I'm just starting to get into yoga and this is really great to hear. I love your vibe and how uncontrived and natural your delivery is. Thanks and please post more!

    I love yoga for the breath and, in turn, the stress relief. I also love practicing with my kids!

    Excellent Ted Talk, no, but really, thanks. I've watched some of your other videos, and they've been great (especially stretching out your feet, that's been a game-changer).
    Remembering to breathe is essential; relax and take every day as it comes. Thanks again!

    How someone who's never done yoga before but wants to do it, should start getting into a yoga routine? Where to start? What to do? Mornings/before going to bed? For how long each session? What types of yoga are out there and which are more suited for what?
    Thanks Elena, always shining!

      Hi, Marc! Here's an article that may help with the different types of yoga practices, and some considerations when starting: bit.ly/3EQEx45

    • @elenac4077
      @elenac4077 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The article that REI linked is great, my immediate two cents are... find shorter sessions, try slow flow/restorative/any level I or beginner labelled classes. Time of day doesn't matter, whatever works for your schedule and seems like it'll stick. I'd say start anywhere from 10 - 30 minutes, and if you take to yoga, you'll naturally gravitate to longer classes! I'll let the article cover the class types, as there are many, but don't be afraid to dabble! My personal favorite classes are slow flow :)

      If you don't like yoga, stop watching videos about it. You know you're in control of what you consume, right?
