You’re going to get a bunch of folks asking you to react to Creep. It’s incredible and totally worthy of all the praise. I think PMJ & Haley doing Don’t Speak by No Doubt is an under appreciated gem in the PMJ + Haley catalog. Great reaction, love your enthusiasm and clear love for music!
Haley doesn't sing a song. Haley sings an attitude, and she uses the song as the vehicle, the means, to get there! All About That Bass Seven Nation Army Creep The songs are terrific. But the attitide!! (Chef's kiss! 😘🤌🏼) Enjoy the rabbit hole! We're enjoying watching your new reactions to the roller coaster that we've ridden countless times. And seeing your new joy brings us renewed joy! ❤
@@Bay_Trekker beyond all the videos you mentioned, with PMJ, I still prefer her video recorded at Chess Records in Chicago with her dad on acoustic guitar. A true raw performance.
Just yesterday I watched the video of Haley singing “Can’t Find My Way Home” with her father playing acoustic guitar at Chess Records here in Chicago-gorgeous!
Loved your reaction. Please note that all Postmodern Jukebox videos are recorded live, in one continuous pass, no editing or autotune. Haley’s versions of Creep and Don’t Speak with PMJ are also fantastic.
Postmodern Jukebox is great! I have been introduced to a wider range of music genres and musicians by PMJ over the last 7 years. Thank you for reacting/analysing this one.
PMJ is captivating, I love their music! Haley's voice is amazing, and her style is ... well ... Jessica Rabbit on steroids? I love the PMJ/Haley combo, never get tired of it! Get ready for lots of requests for Creep and Mad World! Thanks for another great reaction!
My favorite singer over the past 7 years. Loved your reaction. Your analysis is spot on . She has a lot of content on You Tube that are not videos but singing live to an audience. She is such a great performer that in my opinion are better than videos. You can tell she loves singing to a live audience.
PMJ + Haley Reinhart singing Creep, Don't Speak, Black Hole Sun, and All About That Bass. Also PMJ + Morgan James singing Dream On. Please. With a cherry on top 😂 I promise you'll enjoy them all!
I enjoyed your reaction and breakdown, lol. I think you would love Haley’s performance of CREEP by the same group. It is my favorite. This was my second favorite. Great job!
The pianist is Scott Bradlee, the creator of PMJ as well as (afaik) the sole arranger of all of their music... also, it's a running inside joke that they (almost) always hide the drummer behind the singer.
I think you might of enjoyed that one…. 😂 One of my fave reactions of yours I’ve watched to date. Love the way you cannot contain your passion in the reaction and even at times during analysis. I think you must have broken the record for most “dude” utterances in under 30 minutes 😂
Haley may be the best singer of our generation and on top of that, she is drop dead gorgeous. I hope you journey into the Haley rabbit hole and watch many more of her videos. Subscribing for that!
great reaction and detail analysis daniel... haley reinhart is the "real life" jessica rabbit here... it's crazy how she completely embodies the music and new orleans "dirge" vintage time period so well in this sort of symbiotic relationship that is so authentic and rare. the band and arrangement are excellent but she really brings it to life. in addition to her unique stunning vocals, she even becomes another instrument towards the end with the relentless scatting. when i briefly met her before a show over a year ago, i was surprised how petite and soft spoken she is in person with how big a presence she puts on stage... all of her other collaborations with postmodern jukebox are stunning, but "creep" is her masterpiece. she also has an amazing solo career. enjoy and look forward to more haley reinhart reactions! 😎
This is easily in my top three of any postmodern jukebox cover ever. The groove, style, and exquisite execution by the whole group. It makes you feel like you just watched ella fitzgerald in a prohibition bar in New Orleans. As fun for you Haley and postmodern jukebox also did a cover of Creep and it is so good but different from voiceplay. They also did an amazing vintage take on All About the Bass that you enjoy with the Home Free version for completely different reasons. Miche Braden postmodern jukebox cover of guns n roses Sweet child of mine in new Orleans jazz style will make you swear the cover is the original. Voiceplay also covers 7 nation army in acapella. You have my advance permission to love both.
This was the most interesting reaction. Haley does a lot of different covers, but she has her own music. Even though some have already said people will be requesting Creep, I am asking for it too, it is even better than this one. Haley was on American Idol quite a few years ago, there are a lot of her performances to check out. To me, Haley is a musical instrument.
Not many might recommend Haley’s original song/video “Free.” But I will!! Anyone who’s ever been in a relationship that isn’t working, but you’re not absolutely complete enemies with that person, could be okay with the song/lyrics. But there is definitely a message being delivered!
Haley and PMJ’s rendition of Creep is awesome as is their cover of All About That Bass, which has a fun twist too. Also Voiceplay do a great Seven Nation Army
@@JeffTokayer no, Voiceplay don’t do “live” performances* as they use post production filters/layering and also do a cinematic video. *some of their “mini” videos may be recorded live?
@@JeffTokayer They record their singing in their home studios. Whoever is arranging a song/video edits the song with their voices together. Then they film the videos in their costumes or outfits together with them lip syncing to the song. It's amazing. These guys are independent and do everything themselves. Except intricate makeup, cameras and audio mixing.
She really does a great job at sounding like Mae West. You should look her up with playing with Jeff Goldbloome. He is so good and then add her it was like a net, net plus.
Dude!! Can I call you dude? You called me dude about a million times so im guessing its ok 😁 Loved your enthusiasm, very contagious! Loved how you picked up all the nuances, Haleys voice and style, the excellent musicianship, the composition etc. And that you were able to talk about it in a way that kept me interested the whole way. Great stuff, thanks so much for sharing! 🌹 You will get plenty of PMJ suggestions, so ill leave you with something else. Quincy said she was the best he had heard since Michael Jackson.
If you like the old-style covers from PMJ, you might also like the funk covers from Scary Pockets. Just pick many song from their You Tube channel, and you can't go wrong. In the comments of your first Scary Pockets reaction, you will get suggestions for more.
I recommend to check out Postmodern Jukebox Bad Guy - Billie Eilish (Tango Style Cover) ft. Ariana Savalas . I realized how serious the lyrics in Bad Guy watching this video and the song sung by an adult woman
Thank you for your perspective! This is how I like to engage with music and am not focusing on "acting for the back row". While I'm aware some moments can be considered histrionic, ultimately this is how I enjoy the music I listen to and it makes me happy. I hope that the audience can engage with me on that level as well, but unfortunately, that isn't the case for everyone. I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and form your own opinions though =)
I love your enthusiasm in your reactions. You do you, Daniel. I enjoy watching you and your reactions, the joy that you portray makes me smile. So you do you and don’t let anybody else, try to stop it.

not all, some are studio productions, but you can tell easily which they are, as they are more video driven.

I would definitely say this one one of THE "sexiest" performances by ANY artist, EVER!
Miss Haley really has fun playing up to it.
Not only sexy but really classy and not trashy like nowadays pretty much almost everyone. She really is amazing a girl you can go public with.
And consider giving PMJ with Morgan James singing Dream On a chance!

A lot of "New Orleans Derge" sound.
