I actually in July 2022 upgraded my 10 plus to the s20 ultra and was highly impressed with how awesome the the ultra operates. It's very smooth. I have no qualms. I'm a note fan girl and getting this phone actually helped me not miss it as much. Even the stylus activity is dealable, being that I can still use a basic stylus to jot down grocery list and samsung notes. So I'm very pleased with my purchase. Aestatically the s21 ultra is prettier but I don't think it's blowing the s20 ultra out the water with capability.
Never understood why people or reviewers care about the back of the phone if it's matte finish, attracts fingerprints, etc. You're gonna have a case on it lol

I personally like glass back because of the shine but still every time we use it we leave fingerprints on it which looks bad

s21does not have sd card slot whilst s20 does this major difference you may have missed for storage!

Very, VERY few (if any today 08/2021) have a DAC delivering higher than BT audio via 3.5mm, and please, elaborate on how you're wearing your $1k+ headphones that can recreate a completely lossless file out on the go other than tidal with extremely limited selection aka soon to die, and Apple music which is now shown not to STREAM lossless though lossless is "available" 🤣
Your argument is no longer even moot but rather trivial and invalid at this point when wired buds are less prevalent now and you need to stfu. You can get the shitty wired earbuds you got in the box from samsung for $30 now from skullcandy at BestBuy so really, just stfu about your stupid 3.5mm jack when you aren't an audiophile as Samsung has never done a lossless DAC, their DAC has never been known for greater than 320Kbps, and you've never afforded headphones or a home theater system you've connected your phone directly to as an audio source to create said perfection: BTW, seeing as you're that person, people in the industry actually have created small-ish modules that take the binary signal (actually far better at lossless than ANY source you can rebute me on and I slap you like a child of data) and do the digital to analog conversion in their own unit: Cute, it's like $1k. So you see how even the EXPERTS in creating anything beyond simply 320Kbps listening can not even house it in a phone (lmfao), but it's like $1400 ITSELF!
NOW, please tell me how some shitty $30 skullcandy wireless buds are better than the free headphones that came with your old phone, and then I'll remind you that for the last 4 generations of phones samsung has given pre-order folks $200+ in accessory purchase as they are today with the Fold3 and you can buy TWO pairs of the buds+ or one pair of Buds2 and have $70 left alllll for free. Smfh. STFU and cry me a river

So don't waste any cash on the s21 ultra when you can get an s20 ultra for half the price now and you get a charger headphones and expandle storage

There's no point in getting expandable storage if your phone has 256 gigabytes of storage

Lowering the price by stripping charger, SD micro, and aux jack is like selling you a strip down model car without AC and radio! How much does Samsung pay you?
We are now at the point where upgrades are pretty much pointless. On paper things are better. In real life there's barely anything new. It's mostly marketing.

I think biggest thing is if your paying cash or if your on a plan or avaliable for a trade in. I loved my s10+. I cracked the screen after 2 years 😪. Got 800 bucks for the trade in. Did not like the s21+ due to the downgraded display and no curve screen, but appreciated the screen size. So I got the ultra! I paid 400 bucks for it. I got a steal! The s21+ was only 900 bucks. I could have went cheap and only paid 100 bucks for the s21+ but you gotta get what you want. To make a long story short I would not trade the simple fact it's the brightest crispest phone I've ever used. But fact is I spent years in the damn gulag and I never paid attention to the s20 series. If I had walked into the att store and asked to look at the previous series, I may have gotten the 20 ultra. Same, I just recently got the s20 ultra at a big discount. Paid $1000 Canadian with a contract while the s21 ultra 256gb version is going for $1700 canadian on contract. $700 dollar save yet almost identical phone.

Bought s21 ultra because my s9+ screen broke, no SD card or the aux input hurt me and even had to buy a new car stereo. I don't know why I bought it because I only use it for work and games and music, just wanted something that'll be good for at least a couple of years until I am forced to upgrade.

What a shit upgrade if you could even call it that. No 5X optical zoom, no real difference in camera quality apart from slight better dynamic range, no charger, no SD card, no earphones, no depth sensor. The only notable thing is the laser AF because last years focus was well... BROKEN. 😂 Oh and a smaller display. Get offff

Its really good the fuck you mean? If you use it properly it has no auto focus issues anymore which was the only issue with it. The quality itself is identical to the s21, same specs and everything
