I’m outside of Edmonton myself. Spruce Grove to be exact.
West Edmonton Mall has roughly 8 to 10 world records. Biggest indoor amusement park, biggest wave pool, biggest indoor triple loop roller coaster the Mindbender. As well many other things.
Chinooks are somewhat in Edmonton and Spruce Grove. I was born in Edmonton myself. Oh and my older sister Nadine works in the University of Alberta.
She helps the international students out. My names Faith. Here in Spruce Grove we have a massive forest within the city.

In between Calgary and Edmonton
These cities are expanding but they can not join unless by bullet train. Calgary has a ring road (Stoney Trail) now so Deerfoot Trail is not as busy. There are many new shopping locations all over. I have not been to downtown Calgary for a few years, it isn't necessary. Edmonton might be the same. There are massive parks located inside of the cities, private lakes and golf courses.
Really don't know . Maybe housing prices are more interesting in EDMONTON than in Calgary

I guess Calgary has some more stuff but then again Edmonton has West Ed which is a pretty big tourist attraction... also downtown Calgary looks a little empty ish... downtown Edmonton looks like a bigger downtown than Calgary (although it’s not) because it seems a little more congested (which is kinda good for a downtown in a sense) also Edmonton’s got taller buildings for crazy ppl like me haha! 😜

My vote goes to Calgary as it looks well kept. On the contrary, Edmonton's roads and scaffolding make this city look underfinanced and third world like. Actually, roads in Kazakhstan are better than in Edmonton.

Regarding roads. I don't think so. Kazakhstan has worst road by compare with Edmonton or any city in Canada.

Calgary > Edmonton. The white collar ballers are all in Calgary. Your guest has a blue collar mentality so Edmonton is a good match. If you want to make serious moves and money in business you need to be in Calgary.

I can't disagree with you about homeless but pretty much every major city in Europe suffers from this issue as well, especially Paris.
Actually there are barely any homeless in downtown calgary. Edmonton has the most in Alberta. Most of the homeless went to Edmonton. Search it up. Edmonton is the crime city of Canada
