Nice Alan, very nice indeed. I’ve not heard Rupert use this term before ‘lucid waking’, but that’s essentially the non dual teaching in a nutshell. The realisation that this life is a dream, we are all in a dream, we are all being dreampt (apparently that’s not a word but dreamed doesn’t seem right).

Interesting observations Rupert and clearly presented as always. However, in my view, all that is manifest as dual is but polarity. As such, love may be taken as the bliss of union, when illusion of separation ends, which brings us to the natural state of singularity of Self, where there is no ego or identity. So, lucid waking, wherein the limited entity wakes up by merging with the dreamer (object and subject become one), is nothing other than exiting trance, albeit in as far as that module of the totality is concerned, meaning that entity (us). (Note: I’m commenting only based on a small extract of the video, as recommended by a member on a forum I’m active on, so pardon me if I’ve missed something)
